hmm...where do I start from?? for me this was the most unusual update written ever...reasons are not so clear yet the cup in question...half empty or half full is the reason for it...quite a matter of perception isn't it ? how you look at things and the angle matters a lot...usually its used an expression to signify optimism or pessimism but for me they signify neither......coz its all in the mind....what we perceive it as. I'm an idealist so the question doesn't linger only, but maybe for many it does just like for Maan n Geet !

Agree to this point that Geet is more of an emotional person n Maan a practical one...quite opposites huh...though they say opposites attract but is this couple actually opposite rather than some things ?? Outer maybe quite a lot diverse yet somewhere inner thoughts do match; like 2 rivers at some point do meet the sea...that's their meeting point their collision. Dunno if I'm making any sense or just rambling.....

Also the point where Maan proposes 2nd marriage...I din find it absurd but then ts necessary na for the world...though for you its a mere paper and relations are formed n broken by the heart...a mere paper doesn't hold much value yet for the society to function its required... love and companionship's not gonna change na...I just hope Geet understands this...somewhere it'll be for the good only again a re-start, though its not possible everything maybe somethings were left and to clear them this is necessary....

It's a famous saying..."You can't connect the dots looking forward you can only connect them looking backwards." So you just have to trust and trudge ahead having faith in yourself and destiny and God !

Coming to the emotional turmoil thing, I felt Maan was a bit harsh he knew right her state of mind he should 've not acted the way he did but glad that things got better in the afternoon.....

Loved that part a lot when Meer and Yash barge in their home and start off their ranting and when the topic of argument is that on gifts handmade and buyed.....and the dawning on the Geet that everyone has their own way of expressing love and care...actually I also the sweet bickering by Geet, the lunch part where they feed each other.....and the reflection and all.......
quite a full update you know...it's been when the nature part...has nature pre-decided everything and all I can do is just follow it and bow to it....the one from Canyon's is replayed....Meer and Yash coming at the exact same time and all....made a lot of sense.

Loving the flow of the story at the moment...how they are surging and how will it actually help then when they are apart like she'll be in SF !!

So quite a mixture of things goin on at the moment...lets see what's in store next :)

Yeh Raat Yeh Chandani phir kahan…never heard the song before…but thanks to you…the song came walking into my life today with its only message that was so simple yet hard to remember all the time and it is to live in the present. Present is never going to come back again. All you have is the Now, the present.

Both are still walking on egg shells, one afraid of the other, one trying to please the other.

Half cup full and half cup empty. I believe that you cannot measure it. Cus even if you look at it as half full and half empty…the perception will always change as per your thoughts n feelings. One moment you will have the blissful feeling and you will way…oh it is half full, the next moment you might get a trigger n now you will think Oh! it is half empty.

Yash/Meer n Maan/Geet….I am glad both Maan n Geet got to her Yash/Meer's perspective. It shows that how different people act and react differently. For some materialistic items have more significance while for others something small given or made from love is cherished forever.

Maan only sees it as half full like he mentioned…and Geet just agreed and went along with him saying that she will no longer complain cus she does not have the right (because she is comparing herself to Meera/Yash here….and feels guilty of her behavior towards Maan)

YET

At the same time…she tells Maan that if she sees it cup half full than it is Maan's responsibility to fill the other half of the cup which is empty.

Yaar she is totally contradicting herself here….I mean she wants to see it as half full cus of Maan, yet she sees it at the same time as half-empty…and to add on to it…she wants Maan to figure out and respond to what she expects of him.

Geet will not receive any of the answers she is looking for if her mindset is set up in such a manner.

Her way of seeing things and her expectations from Maan on what is missing in her life…is not justified.

When Maan said…that he did not want her to cry…she is only half-heartedly convincing him that she will try…yet at the same time….she wants to cry. I know she said sorry and wants to make up for it…but she is not being honest here….which will just cause more blunders later on….because later on she will be more emotional and more guilt ridden and self-critical as well as will feel deprived cus she did not listen to her inner self.

Even Maan…he wants her to be in the present…enjoy the moments….and he does not want her to change…YET..at the same time….he is not accepting Geet in his present moment…like what Geet thinks about the watermark n what not.

He did not want regrets for later…he wanted to fix things now…but now can you fix things if they are not in your control. How can you fight or control destiny.

Maan – there will be too many good looking girls there…and they will not think twice to marry me…unlike you…..(this statement….tells a lot about his heart…and his hurts….it came out as a joke…but the emotions behind it…only Maan knows….Yeh baat Maan ke dil me ghar kar gayi)

It reminds me when Geet told him….please do not use any of this against me in future… n I feel that this line he said to Geet for whatever his reason was at that point in time….

Geet wants to wear a mask for two days…..she wants the happiness for two days and is not looking at the bigger picture…the future..how it is going to impact them together….

I mean pain now is better than repressing the pain and making it chronic for later….

Fix the problem, communicate, make it work rather than taking the short cut now, being people pleaser now to avoid complications….this will only complicate things further……

She wants to live in that moment in the past and is not realizing the choice she is making in the NOW.

Cus the NOW is going to affect her FUTURE.

Heart! Heart has its own reasons to change the moods. Heart is in command, in charge in other words, so it knows and decides to have some mood swings. It could turn to; jolly go lucky, to sad, upset, angry to stubborn and outraged. It has the tendency to bring the most outrageous flow through the most beautiful features of the body eyes. There is no control over it, mind has been trying hard since century and is still struggling to at least get a small grip of it. Nevertheless, mind (brain) need its' essentials from heart, hence bend downs the peevishness. All in vein, Heart has been beating in every body it decides the emotions in every soul; it is the creator of the expression. We all love heart, that beats fast at the anticipation of a smile on a love one, hurts when it's owner is abused or tortured. Softens when it's tending with tenderness. So the journey continues over and over and over…

Maan and Geet, will do anything for each other no matter what. Maan being Maan, he cannot stand tears in her eyes then how he will tolerate a single scratch on her skin. Where as Geet stands she has her own fears to fight. Moreover, in that process, they tend to hurt each other with out knowing to themselves. Geet tortures herself by trying hard to make things better for Maan and coming from that narrow-minded background, certain upbringings remains somewhere down with in self and those surfaces when a relationship comes to a stake. It's a Male dominated world as Water said, I agree. Therefore, Geet is determined to pursue the paper to be up to date. Maan has never cared for the society, however will do what ever if it pleases her Mishti....
