Hey guys I am back again, yea I know the 23rd has long gone, but what can I do...there were a few other things that needed to be tended to before I sat down and enjoyed my typings...plus, I wasn't greatly motivated by your comments and likes or shall I say the lack of them :(
Ok...so erm...I reckon I'm making them spend tooo much time in the park...but like...the park is like one of the most romantic-ist places for such Maaneet moments - haina? Well it is for me...I love the park...bt then I'm a half kid adult...so there you go - ok I'm gna stop bak bak n do more kaam shaam...so here we go...

But unlike Maan, Geet didn't get tired...and ran to the top most of the highest hill in the park...but just as she reached she twisted her ankle and was about to tumble over, when she felt a sudden pull around her waist...
Maan had seen Geet stumble and reached out to grab her and held her from the waist and pulled her towards him...but the pull was greater than implied and Geet ran right into his chest, making Maan lose his footing and they both toppled over and rolled down the hill... with Maan holding Geet ever so close to him...and Geet with her eyes closed shut and tugging at Maan's arms...

And both rolled down (Tishuu sings...roly poly roly poly roly poly...) and came to a halt at the bottom of the hill after having tumbled down together. It took a while before Maan opened his eyes and as he did he saw the most angelic and magical sight. Geet lay there, with eyes closed and face tensed. Totally unaware that she was lying on top of Maan...Maan saw the tense expression on Geet's face and wanted to ease it. He let out an involuntarily smile at the cute looking angel who was on top of him...what...on top...Geet...angel? WHAT...Maan what are you thinking, how can you think like this...this is Geet...and she is on top of you...you're holding her by her waist...let go...besharam..let go...
Maan eased his hold he had on Geet, and felt Geet stir, and braced himself for her non-surprising outburst ...but to his surprise, Geet held on to him tighter and closer. Maan raised his hand to cup Geet's face in his hand to reassure her she was safe, and not going to fall or hurt herself...but he stopped himself midway, in case she took it wrong or misinterpreted it or simply if she felt bad at him doing so.
Maan: Geet... *maan said softly* Geet...are you ok? Maan repeated having not received a response from Geet, with an anxious fear setting in, in case she had hurt herself during the fall and tumble.
Maan knew that if Geet got back to reality right now - she would find this all too awkward and wouldn't be able to overcome this so easily and things would probably go back to square minus 1 ...and there was no way that Maan was going to let this new found friendship go back to the dull past...wait friendship? Were they friends? If that what they could call this "thing" between them as friendship...he didnt want to waste time thinking about this now, especially since Geet would realise her surroundings soon enough. Pushing all these thoughts aside, Maan's mind began thinking of what to do to make the situation easy...
Maan: Ahhh Geet...uthooo... Maan shouted which made Geet's head shoot right up in fear for Maan...
Geet: Maan...Maan kya hua? Kya hua...chilla kyu rahe ho...are you ok...lagi toh nai? As Geet scanned Maan's face and shoulders to check for bruises and cuts
Maan: Ahhh...Geet...shout na karoon toh kya...you're not exactly light you know...ahhh Get off... As Maan made a futile attempt to push Geet off, in the most unawkwardest of manners
Geet: Huh...kya? What did u just say? Tumne mujhe moti kaha?? Huh...How...how...how dare you?? Geet spoke as she hurridly got off Maan and stood on her own two feet, and offered her hand to him to get up too, which Maan refused to accept - but Geet let that go and pointed towards him dangerously with her last question.
Maan: Geet, I think you need to get your eyes checked...I didnt call you moti...If u listened carefully then you will remember I said you're not light...
Geet: haan haan but it means the same na, not light means heavy - heavy means big, big means moti! And tum kaun hote ho mujhe advice dene wale ke what to get checked or what not, and meri fikar se pehle, tumhe kissi pychiatrist se milne chahiye, kyunki normal log ears se listen karte hai, eyes se nai!
There was a silent moment, with Maan taking his time to register what Geet had just said in the end, and Geet hopelessly trying to keep herself from bursting out in giggles...but alas - both burst out at the same time at the foolish mistake Maan had done by referring to ears but saying eyes...(Tishuu thinks this is a Freudian slip...Maan must have been so lost in her eyes ke usse sirf eyes ke sivai kuchu nazar hi nai aata...hehehe)
Both continued walking around the hill, not risking having another tumble in case they walked up the hill and again came tumbling down (Mann hi mann toh dono hi yahi chahte hai ke woh hill pe jayan aur girte rahe ek dooje ke saath... :P )
Maan: Geet...
Geet: Hmmm
Maan: Woh..erm...woh actually...
Geet: Bolo Maan, what's up...
Maan: Geett...woh I'm sorry...
*Geet wasn't paying much attention...just admiring the greenary around her*
Geet: It's okay...wait..what...why? *stopping and looking towards Maan causing him to stop too*
Maan: What why...I said I'm sorry...
Geet: Yea I heard that, but for what? How can I accept your apology properly if I don't know what your being sorry for, and if I don't accept it, then how will you know if your apology has been accepted and that you are forgiven or in another case, if I will even forgive knowing what you are saying sorry for is really worth forgiving...and so you know – you have to clarify exactly what you are saying sorry for...are you listening to me? Hello earth to human being ??
Maan just stood there looking at the girl in front of him who could go on talking for years on end and never run out on things to say or talk about. How did she do it? Where did she get the energy from?
Maan: Ufff...if you will let me speak then I will na...
Geet was relieved that at least he spoke...but didnt like the idea he was again picking on her for talking...she was about to argue when Maan hit back and spoke before her
Maan: you know what, forget it. Forget I said anything, I'm sorry...I'm sorry I even bothered to say that I was sorry for that tumble that happened in which we both fell down. But it seems your not ready to listen, so just leave it – forget I said anything, aur vaise bhi – your not going to leave any space for me to talk and so I wont get my word in edgewise anyways so just forget I said anything...ok... Maan took a deep breath after having said all that in one go
Silence surrounded both as both resumed their walk and managed to cross away from the hill and were just walking on grassy area. Both didn't say anything to each other after Maan's outburst. It wasn't much later when Geet decided to speak up.
Geet: Maan... Geet spoke softly
Maan just looked over to Geet and nodded for her to carry on
Geet: Maan...it's ok...I know it was an accident, I think I twisted my ankle and so slipped...but thanks, if you hadnt caught hold of me, I would've been bruised all over *Geet said with a soft smile, meaning each other*
Maan heard Geet and saw her smile, he smiled, noticing how easily she spoke of their "tumble" earlier, without any tinge of awkwardness or embarrassment. He smiled back and both carried on walking...hoping to just enjoy the silence a little more in each other's presence. But Geet being Geet cannot stay chup for long – hehehehe
Geet: Waise Maan...ek baat puchoon?
Maan: If I say no- toh nai poochogi
Geet: What?
Maan: nothing, pucho...
Geet: Why were you chasing after me? I mean, itna hi mazaa araha tha Lisa ke saath toh uske saath khelte na – why you were running away?
Maan: What? Are you gone mad? Why would I want to play with a dog (Tishuu: Haan Haan kehdo Maan, ke you want to play with Geet only :P ) I don't like dogs...and did you see how ferocious and dangerous it was looking and it kept coming near me and trying to bite me...and then it licked me - ewww
Geet: Excuse me Maan, Lisa is not any old dog and nor is she a IT, Lisa is a lovely, totally friendly, nice and cute little girl who was just happy to see me and excited to have a new friend – but its a shame you were your unfriendly self and took it wrong...or should I say you were too scared... Geet giggled
Maan: Fine...SHE and for your information I am not scared of HER *placing emphasis on HER*
Geet: erm ok...if you say so...but I know you were scared, thats why you were running away from her...admit it Maan – no-one will know – I promise I will never tell anyone...
Maan glared at Geet telilng her to shut up but Geet wasn't going to get intimidated by him and simply let out a laugh...which made Maan laugh soon enough later... Both were laughing their head off at their little nok jhok – they sounded so silly at times... (Tishuu thinks they looked cute too – haayyeee...)
Geet: Wait a minute...Maan did you say...Lisa licked you?
Maan: Yea...unfortuneatly...it seems she must have thought I was playing with her rather than trying to get away from her – that why she was chasing me perhaps...and then when I thought I would get away, remember when I tripped earlier...she came over me...and you know...she erm...well you know... *maan gave a disgusted look after evoking his disgusting memory*
Geet jumped a mile apart from...
Geet: Ewww that's disgusting...how could you Maan...I mean I know she's cute and nice and all, but hey you let her lick you – that's disgusting – get away from me... ewww
Maan smirked seeing Geet's reaction and decided to tease her a little...
Maan came closer and closer, whilst Geet kept taking steps back and tried running away from him...
Maan: Kyu Geet, I thought you said you liked Lisa...I mean its only a little doggy na *reiterating Geet's words back to her* kya hua Geet, she only licked me na – it doesnt matter, I don't blame her – afterall look at me...who wouldn't want to taste me *Geet's eyes widened at Maan's audacity*
Geet: Maan you are soo full of yourself...go look in a mirror...get away – don't come near me..I'm warning you...
Maan: Or what Geet...huh...you shouldn't have a problem Geet – it's only Lisa right...and you like her – so it's only fair if you get some of her on you too...right..afterall you two share such a good bond...right...?? huh geet – bolo...
Maan almost had Geet trapped and left no room for her to escape, but he was momentarily distracted by the sunshine, which Geet took good advantage of and made a run for her life...
Maan chased after calling out her name to stop...around the park...the park was literally empty...it normally was at this time of the evening...
Geet came to a stop soon after- being tired from before and now- she really needed to stop and catch her breath...she bent over and held her knees and looked back to see if Maan was still chasing her...she sat down after a while...
Maan had managed to give Geet a good chase...but his shoe lace had to come undone at that very moment...he looked at his shoe and how close he was to getting Geet...he looked back and forth and decided to quickly do his laces as he was sure he could run up and chase geet soon... he managed to do his laces and looked up and saw no geet. He stood up and looked around to see if he could catch a glimpse of her...he couldn't see her anywhere...he ran a little ahead desperately trying to see her...even though the park was somewhat empty...it was also a little dangerous being around this end of the park at this time, dodgy people were around...he hoped nothing had happened to Geet...he would not be able to contemplate what he would go through if something happened to his Geet...HIS geet? It rang in his head a few times...but it chose to ignore it for now – he had to find her...fast...he ran a little more and saw a figure sitting on the grass, crouched holding onto their feet. He almost immediately recognised it to be Geet. He felt a sharp pain like thing seeing Geet so vulnerable on the grass...his thoughts went back to the earlier convo, where Geet mentioned she hurt her ankle...oh no...had she hurt herself again...oh god...it's all my fault – I shouldnt have let her run like this – and why on earth was I chasing her knowing she was hurt already. Oh Maan you idiot... Maan rushed over to Geet to see if she was okay..
Maan: Geet...are you okay? Have you hurt your foot again? Here let me see? Do you want me to drop you home? Tell me Geet – How can I help...I'm sorry you hurt yourself again..because of me...I didn't mean...
Geet: UFFF shut up!!!!!
Maan was taken aback, but soon got back to normal when he saw Geet smiling...
Geet: I'm ok Maan..just tired so took some rest and sat down – Gosh you should've seen your face...you looked really funny...hahahaha oh dear...here sit down..you must tired too...you have been running for ages – what with the chase with Lisa, then the hill and now...here *she patted a place beside her* here sit down...take a breather...
Maan took a sigh of relief knowing Geet wasn't hurt...but the thing from before was playing in his head – HIS geet? Why did he say that? He looked over to Geet's face and her soft smile. Why had he gotten so worried for her...this was strange...He let the thoughts go off thinking he was just a little protective of Geet, after what had happened earlier on between them – he just didnt want to make things repeat themselves – hence he was just looking out for her – afterall they were good friends before things had to mess up...but Maan didnt want to think of that anymore...he was just about to sit down when Geet shrieked – he looked down to see if he'd hurt her by any way...
Geet: Nooo. Maan stop...*Geet got up and grabbed Maan by his arm*...look theres a water hose pipe...see look...we can use it to clean up ur face and wherever else Lisa licked you...see...oh im such a genius...*with that she dragged Maan over to the other side of the pavement near to the caretaker's house, where the hose pipe was lying about...she took the pipe in her hand and opened the tap a little...a trickle of water came out and Geet motioned Maan to come forward and take the water...he came and cupped his hands at the end of the pipe to gather some water...because the water was coming only a little bit, Geet opened the tap a little more...Maan gathered some water and splashed it onto his face...and again began gathering water...Geet was getting impatient with the time it was taking..it was really really slow...she opened the tap further more to it's end...but still the water was soo little...*
Geet: Yea itna rubbish hose hai...it doesnt even increase in water supply...stupid...
Maan: Geet... who you calling stupid...how can the hose pipe give out more water when you yourself have you foot on the pipe...huh *as maan motioned with his eyes to Geet's foot*
Geet: ohhh oops...*Geet lifted her foot...*
But maybe that was a mistake, because the moment her foot was lifted, the hose pipe got out of control and the water came bursting through (remember Geet opeend the tap to the max) Geet quickly came back to her senses and tried to close the tap...Unfortuneatly Maan was at the receiving end of the hose and was completely drenched from head to toe...before Geet had managed to close the tap and was not soo pleased...
Geet: *gulps*...ot oh...I'm ...sorry Maan..I didnt...I mean I wasn't...I ... woh..erm...please don't hate me...it wasnt my fault...
Maan came towards Geet..whilst she carried on stuttering...and grabbed the hose from her hands and increased the pressure and pointed the hose to Geet.
Geet was totally clueless as to what to do...she didnt mean to wet Maan...it was an accident..she tried explaining to him...but did not know how...her brain wasnt making any sense and her brain had stopped working the moment she felt the water hit her at an enourmous speed. It took her a while before she realised that maan had just drenched her from head to toe...the shock was overcome by anger and then by mischief as both laughed and began their masti of a water fight as both fought over the hose and tried to get the other wet...
Tishuu: hayeee – kitne cutieee hai ye dono...hayyeee...so dreamy...
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE????!!!!! Came a deep baritone voice...
Maan and Geet had the hose in their hand and instantly let go of it the moment they heard that voice. They looked at each other and then the person whose voice they heard...and then back at themselves...before grabbing each other's hand and making a run for it, before the Caretaker could come after them and have a right go for causing a wet mess in his front garden...and wasting his water...
Both ran as fast as they could...completely bheeg chuke...but not to worry the sun was out so both would be fine in a little bit of time...they ran towards the opposite side of the park (furtherest from the caretaker) – and found themselves back at the play area...and decided to rest on the swings... whilst trying to get a grip of themselves from laughing soo much...
