"Hey gorgeous!!" Samrat teased Gunjan.

"Someone's in a really good mood today. I am guessing it's something to do wid Nupur coming back." Gunjan retorted.

"Well partly… But also because I like it when you wear anything pink. It really compliments you well."

"Sorry to interrupt but if you guys are done flirting dare I ask where everyone else is?" Armaan teased from behind.

Gunjan blushed wildly and went in search of Shilpa and Nupur. And Samrat started looking here and there trying to avoid armaan's eye. Armaan grinned "It's okay to flirt you know.."

"This coming from someone who doesn't even talk to his wife with as many as two people around..." Samrat said in mock sarcasm.

Armaan glared at him. How does he always manage to say the one thing I cannot argue with?? Armaan wondered.

"Samrat!"

Both of them turned behind to see who it was.

Armaan was taken aback. There standing before him was Shilpa wearing a red suit with lacy sleeves and a long red dupatta embroidered in gold on the edges. And she looked stunning. Her topaz colored eyes, her long hair were loose with a little pin holding them together at the back.

"Bhai!!" Samrat's call jerked him from his trance. He glanced at Shilpa. She was blushing and looked at him weirdly. Oh great!! Just what I need. Shilpa catching me look at her strangely…

"Did Nupur come down yet??"

"here I am!!" Nupur said coming out of her room.

"Oh good!! Everyone's here.. Lets leave."

"Sure, I'll just let Mayank know that" Shilpa said as an afterthought.

"He's coming too?" Nupur enquired in a weird tone.

"Yup.. Though he did try to get out of it.. Dunno if he'll actually turn up.. Hey lets get moving" Samrat said.

"So, what have you been upto this past year?" Gunjan asked Nupur. They all had returned from the dinner. Mayank hadn't shown up after all.

Shilpa, gunjan and nupur were sitting in nupur's room talking about the past year.

"Oh this year being the final one feels sort of a bitter sweet victory. On one hand I am happy to have completed it but I'll definitely miss the college and my friends… We had so much fun! It was crazy really but I am glad to be back home. I missed you guys a lot…"

"Oh we missed you too.." Shilpa said as the three of them hugged each other.

"so, how's sanjeevani doing?" Nupur asked.

"Great!! The board members have started participating actively in the welfare of the hospital." Shilpa said.

"Hmm… Armaan bhai does seem pretty busy these days.." Gunjan trailed off.

" yup, well he's directly answerable to the board members until sanjeevani doesn't appoint a new director. So, its been busy for a few months now."

"Well I am sure even the board members are in awe of Armaan bhai.. Hey, why doesn't he accept the post himself? I am sure the board members must have offered him the post himself.."

"Yeah, they have but armaan believes it won't be fair to his patients and that he won't be able o help those who trust us with their lives.." Shilpa trailed off lost in her thoughts. "He is very sensitive kind of guy and well cares a lot about his patients." She had a wistful smile on her face which didn't go unnoticed by Nupur.

"Oye hoye bhabhi… if just the thought of bhai brings such a pretty smile on your face I wonder what happens when he's around you in the hospital."

And armaan and samrat chose that moment to enter nupur's room. "Hey guys what are you all talking about? " Armaan asked.

"Oh just that Shilpa is really missing you a lot. Only thinking about you transports her to her own la-la land." Gunjan answered with a smile and Shilpa blushed.

"Hmm.. you know one these days I am gonna drop by at sanjeevani and give you guys a surprise visit and see how you kids are doing…" Nupur smirked and gave Samrat a high-five.

"Nupur you are so dead!!" Shilpa growled. Nupur got up and ran out of the room and Shilpa was right behind her. Everyone around started laughing the funny scene that had just occurred. All except armaan…

Once everyone had retired to their rooms nupur started thinking about Shilpa and her expression when she was talking about armaan. And she remembered how Shilpa used to talk about her dream guy…

"I want a guy who's smart, sensitive, confident and caring. He would treat me like his princess." Shilpa had said

And now look at her. She had changed so much, the once demanding and happy-go-lucky Shilpa was now a much more matured, understanding, loving and confident person.

Nupur on the other hand had never really believed in love and relationships. The only bonds she knew of were with her family. She knew her brothers and sisters-in-law loved her to bits. Well frankly she'd never really met anyone different who made her feel what gunjan used to feel for Samrat and vice versa. She had no such fantasies about any guy or any relationships. The things that mattered to her the most were her family and her career. She was indeed a very driven girl since the beginning. And she finally fell asleep.

So thats it for now... Next part is where mayank and nupur finally see each other after a pretty long time.
