Chapter 8
Today was just not Geet's day...out of all the days to have a bad luck...it had to be today! Babaji lover her so much!
-First she woke up late
-Dropped coffee on the client
-Argued with the client
-Got a ticket for parking in a handicapped area
-Maan sat in the passenger seat while Adi in the back seat which made her nervous while driving...she could feel his eyes full of anger on her the whole time while she was driving...which she tried to ignore to the best of her abilities
-Her stupid boss Dev ulu ka patha kept calling her non-stop asking her where she is...as if she is a little kid lost in a big city
-Her car very soon would run out of gas
"Wait did I feed my dog? Ohh damn I have to call my neighbor and ask her to feed my dog"
(Can anyone have more problems in one day?)
She was loosing her patience but thank god they had arrived at the destination before she blows up and make more mistakes
Geet: umm sir we have arrived at the company
Adi: Thank you Geet..must say you are a good driver
Geet smiled: Thank you Adi
Maan: Thank god nothing happened in between (glared at Geet)
Geet smiled at Maan and chose to ignore what he said... "Control Geet...don't say anything stupid...just smile and walk calmly"
They arrived at their floor and was greeted by Dev and the staff.
Dev: Well Mr.Khuarana...
Maan: Thank you Dev...please call me Maan
Dev: Alright thanx Maan...(suddenly his eyes fell on his jacket)...what happened to your jacket?
Maan looked at Geet...Dev followed his eyes toward Geet: "umm nothing just a little spill"
Geet was relieved that he didn't tell the truth to Dev
Dev: ohh ok...well if you want then we can do this meeting tomorrow
Maan: no no it is fine...I could handle it
Dev: Alright then...let me introduce to my staff...am sure you have met Geet she is the manager and she will be in charge until you guys are here....if you guys need anything ask Geet...
Geet smiled at Maan: hmm nice to meet you Geet..if I knew that you would be in charge then I would've brought some extra clothes...(Adi controlled his laughter hearing this)
Geet closed her fists in anger and counted backwards to 10 since she was so close rom jumping him in front of the whole office.... "Excuse me Dev sir..I am going in my cabin to prepare for the presentation"
Dev: Alright Geet
Geet: Tasha please come with me..(Geet gave angry glare to Maan before leaving)
Geet: samjtha kya hai woh apne aap ko? He is lucky that I can't hurt him in front of Dev or else he wouldn't have made it alive out of this building
Tasha: ma'am is something wrong?
Geet: woh nothing..ummm do you have the files for presentation?
Tasha: yes ma'am everything is done..
Geet: Alright well let me know when Dev is done introducing the staff members and when it is time for the presentation
Tasha: Alright I will
Geet looked at her emails to see if DelhisShark replied her back yet to get her mind off of khadus out there but was disappointed to see he didn't so she decided to text Vicky...
To: Vicky (212-990-3388)Hey I won't be able to come to lunch today
From: Vicky Why? Don't tell me your ulu da patha boss lol
To: Vicky No..its not the boss..its this new client...ugh I hate him..I spilled a little coffee on him by accident..its not like I did it on purpose and he doesn't leave any chance to taunt me
From: Vickyheheh when is it ever your fault? lol...
To: VickyYou Gadha..what do you mean by that? Instead of calming me down..you are making me more mad :( Wait till I see you
From: VickyGadha?? Seriously, do you have a book of nicknames with you?? lol ohh am sorry I forgot am suppose to be helping you...ahem
Are bechari you are going through so much :( how dare he taunt you again and again..wait till I see him

Tasha: Ma'am Dev sir is done...he is calling you to the conference room...
Geet: Alright I will be there...will you bring my laptop to the meeting please
Tasha: Sure Ma'am
To: VickyWhatever! I have to go now..you gadha

To: VickyYeah, I see your help...I have to go to meeting now..ttyl

Geet went to the conference room..everyone was already present and ready to go...she went and sat across of Maan..she didn't make any contact with him...just smiled at Adi was was sitting with Maan...Maan was busy on his laptop and didn't realize when Geet or in fact what is happening around him...
Dev whispered: Geet are are you ready?
Geet annoyed at Dev constant nagging: Yes, Dev I am ready...
Dev: Ahem everyone let's start then..Geet you may begin when ready
Geet forcefully smiled at Dev: Thank you Dev SIR...first I would like to welcome our clients from India...Adi and Mr. Khurana...(Maan looked up at her when she started speaking)
Alright then let's begin!
After her presentation she sat down on her chair...she didn't really pay attention to everyone else as she knew what they would say...she checked her email again to see if DelhisShark replied back or not....she smiled when she saw his email...
