"silly questions, silly answers!" geet said and smiled.

"thanks u may go." Maan said and showed her the gate.

Geet waz sure she dint get the job. She went for the other interview adi arranged for her. But yet again, she dint get it.

She returned home where pinky was waiting for her for dinner. Geet was sad. It waz very tiring day also. Geet told her she was in no mood to eat. She went in her room to sleep. Then after 30 mins or so pinky shouted.

"geet!!! BAHAR AA!!!" pinky shouted.

"kya hua pinky?? Why are u shouting!" she said coming out.

"arre! See who is here!"

"who!!" she asked. Seeing an old age man with the nice looking business suit and a nice tie which she noticed.

"arre he is vanraj singh khurana!!" pinky told. "he is maan sir's father. The interview you gave in my office, u got it!!" then it strike geet in her head. She saw him at the interview with that beast in KC.

"really. But I was rejected the first time. Then why now?" geet asked suspiciously.

"I must say you re the right one for my son!" vanraj said.

"excuse me! I m asking for the job not his hand?" geet told. "and look sir I m in no mood to listen silly jokes. I dint even answered properly to him, he showed me the gate that time. Then why he will keep me this time yet again.??"

"look, beta. I didn't wanted a girl who can just say 'yes sir', 'no sir', 'ok sir' to my son. I wanted someone with a strong backbone. You were the only one with strong values and above all, a heart of gold." vanraj said nicely.

"then u want me to work as what??" geet said with a straight face.

Vanraj took a sigh and said "yes! My son's associate."

"ohh woowyyy!!!! I love it!!" geet jumped infront him. geet said and vanraj smiled.

"then it's a deal?!" vanraj extended his hand.

"yes yes sir! I seal the deal! But I have a condition." Geet said and vanraj looked.

"what?"

"I came here to study too. So you people would grant me the freedom to go to my college for exams. Don't worry I would not go everyday. But just for exams. I hope u understand sir." Geet asked.

"I must say u r a big girl in small age. Don't worry I will take care of your college. Infact you can take your several days off also, when u have exams." Vanraj said with a smile. Geet agreed to the proposal. But again she asked.

"But uncle, what if ur son fires me other day? I know he doesn't like me!"

"u don't worry! Even if he is a managing director of KC, I m the owner! And more I m his dad! He cant fire you beta! Because for that he would have to consult me. And I m already on ur side." Vanraj said with a smirk. "so geet see you at 8 tomorrow. In khurana palace."

"but why there sir?" geet asked.

"because you should meet my mom."

"huh?? Sorry I don't understand sir."

"actually my mom takes care of the people who work for maan. She finalizes them."

"ok I will be there at 8. and one more question?"

"go ahead!"

"what would I wear?? I mean do u have any special dress code for office staff??"

"no no. just be yourself. U can wear everything u r comfortable with. No problems."

"ok sir." Geet said looking down.

"so job final??" vanraj extended his hand as he said, and geet extended hers "final!!".

After the deal with geet vanraj went to pinky and handed her the Cadbury bar, and pinched her cheeks. Pinky smiled and accepted the gift. This impressed geet. But she couldn't help to think that how different they both were, maan and his dad. His dad waz happy go lucky person. He was down to earth and friendly. But maan, she could tell by her senses that he was very stubborn, richly spoilt types.

But why would she care? She just cared her work, her studies, her family and then her home and lastly her boss. Buy yet she knew he would be little different. The way he was looking at her first time, She cant forget those eyes. Like he was searching someone in her. Like he saw through her.

But yet she gave a damn to those types of guys.

After food geet went in her room and called her parents to give the good news of her job. Brijj insisted to tell him how here boss was, but she lied that he was nice.

She slept with a dream of becoming a successful woman in future. Destiny waz with her right now, but cant for the future!

Geet woke up, got ready for her first day. She wanted to take a taxi, but adi showed and insisted that he will drop her to the khurana palace (KP). Geet never thought of a big house, that KP was. She dreamed of a home sweet home but this waz palace. True name, khurana Palace. Geet went in and knocked the door, nakul, the butler, opened.

He asked who she was but it was too late, vanraj saw her and took her in. she met dadima and she was instantly impressed by her dressings. The pure Punjabi looks in a Punjabi style salwaar kameez. Dadima looked at her and geet touched her feet. That's it!! Dadima fell in to pieces. She wished she could be her daughter in law but that was impossible. Even the sun can refuse light but MAAN SINGH KHURANA cant marry.

Dadima agreed for geet working as maan's associate. Then vanraj took her office in his car and introduced her to the whole office. Everyone wondered what would maan do to fire her!

The clock again striked 9 o clock and everyone scattered here and there. Geet saw this with utter shock. She ran to adi who arranged his table nicely and took the files in his hands which maan would ask. Maan entered and geet saw him. She saw his powerful walk, his style of dressing, it was fab. He took long steps, he just saw his path where he is walking. Nothing was changed in the office but yet everything changed as 'he' came in.

He went in his cabin and called adi to come in.

"may I come in s.sir?" adi asked little scared.

"come in adi!" maan said as he worked on his lap top.

"sir f.file."

"oh. So everything done?" maan asked still working and not looking up.

"ye.yes sir."

"good. Go and tell dad that interviews should be called again." Maan said and this made adi confused.

"again? But your associate is been finalized." This time maan looked up.

"who?"

"geet handa. Your dad, vanraj sir hired her yesterday."

"send her in!" maan said and adi got worried.

He went out and sent geet in. "may I come in?" she asked politely.

As soon as maan saw her, he forgot his laptop. He stared in her eyes. This made her nervous. Geet saw the search in his eyes again, like he was remembering someone looking at her. But again she saw a glint of anger. She coughed and maan stared away. But soon his eyes shot at her.

"what are u doing here??" he said gritting his teeth.

"your dad hired me as ur associate."

"but I rejected you in the interview.!!"

"I know. But your dad came to my house and told me that he hired me."

"and now I fire u! go!"

"listen mister don't practice my patience!"

"what did u say!!" saying this maan came so near to her that she never wanted him to. He crossed his boundaries, or he was trying to.

"I said don't practice my patience, or else"

"or else what!!!" saying this he came 1 inch closer to her and held her soft shoulder in his strong arms. He didn't knew what took him there but yet again he waz driven.

"leave me!" geet struggled in his arms. "for god's sake u r hurting me!" geet cried. But maan was not in his senses. He was driven to her face. He was lost in her eyes, again.

"if u want ur peace, leave. Leave my company, leave my office." Said again coming little closer'''''''''''''

Maan gives geet the toughest job. Vanraj requests geet to stay In KC.
