:::Update 44:::The Turning:::
Piya in Panchi's room was surprised to see all the effort Misha had gone to for her. Pink balloons were hung up for Piya with a handwritten sign on them. Sister's for life. Piya would have laughed but the irony in it was too much. If only U knew Misha? Would U throw me out of your life the way your Dad threw us out? Would U hate me for existing? Piya feared the worst. Probably due to Misha being so unpredictable. There was no trusting what Misha would make of Piya's entry in her life or her motive. Piya let go of her insecurities heading straight back to reality. Misha was unaware of the connection they all had together. At the back of Piya's head she'd been afraid Abhay and the other'swere in grave peril. How were they doing right now? Did they need help? Was Sid in pain? Did he need her? Her brother was one man Piya did not want to welcome into her life but he was so endearing and sweet. Plus Abhay kept on sweet talking Piya into submission that she had no choice but to let Sidharth Dobrial in her life. Piya had already accepted him as a brother despite her initial reluctance. Thank Goodness Abhay has applied some gentle pressure and some emotional blackmail. Piya felt apprenhensive about the other's Why did she promise Abhay that she'd stay indoors with the Dobrial's? They may be her blood family but by heart Abhay was her everything. So were his family. They were the world to her.
Misha snapped Piya out of her thoughts-"Penny for your thoughts Piya. Come on dude after so long we get together and your lost in your day dreams man! We are meant to have fun and all U do is think about Abhay."
Piya gave a embarrassed look getting caught in a moment of weakness-"Sorry force of habit. I can't seem to function without him."
Misha held Piya around her shoulders wrapping her arms around her-"I know but this is my night. I mean our night. U are not allowed to think about boys. Only girls. I meant us girls are like sister's so I want us to act like one and dish the dirt. I wanna know about the Raichand's. I wanna know we can poke fun at ourselves and be silly."
Piya stroked Misha's arm-"Ok then no more Abhay and no more moping."
Misha let go of Piya jumping on her bed-"This is so much fun."
Panchi scolded Misha-"U want to jump then do it on your bed not mine."
Misha continued bouncing on and off-"Stop being a killjoy Panchi and enjoy yourself for once. You're not allowed to think about work for one night. U join in on the fun."
Panchi rolled her eyes at her sister leaping her way on the bed and jumping-"The springs might break. Then I'll have no bed to sleep on."
Misha smiled cheekily jumping up and down with her voice unsteady-"No worries U can sleep on the floor dear sister."
Panchi smacked Misha's arm-"Why can't I sleep on your bed?"
Misha explained with her voice wobbling-"Piya's sleeping in my room."
Panchi whacked Misha with a pillow-"U want me on the floor and Piya on the bed. I can't believe my own sister would do this to me. I won't be filling your piggy bank any more. Go borrow from Dad see how U like it then."
Misha put her arm around Panchi's neck-"It was a joke. U are taking this too seriously Birdie. Told U work is making Panchi a very cranky girl. Birdie there is enough space for all three of us Dobrial girls."
Piya's eyes widened then she began to correct Misha-"I'm not a Dobrial Misha and never will be."
Misha jumped off the bed looking closely at Piya's eyes for small hints. They were filled with anxiety-"Piya it just came out of my mouth. U are like one of us. So don't go all defensive on us. I've adopted U into my family."
Piya remained unmoved-"Misha I. I'M THIRSTY."
Misha closely eyes Pia again-"U haven't even been jumping on the bed."
Piya moaned-"I'll be back Misha."
Misha let Piya go."Hurry back I'll be waiting for U. We got some major stuff to discuss Piya."
Panchi saw Piya head out of the bedroom as she hurried towards Misha-"What's going on with Piya? She's very jumpy."
Misha noticed Panchi was correct. The name Dobrial and them being sisters bothered Piya. There was the whole issue around their Father and the reaction Piya had to him was pretty whacko. Misha wondered what their deal was? There was a cold front and Misha wanted Piya to be happy. She wanted the old Piya back. Misha did something sneaky to find out the truth downstairs in the study room and the living room. Hell even in the kitchen Misha had fitted a microphone to eavesdrop on Piya. She had the whole thing playing for a few hours. The main room Misha was focusing on was the study and the living room.
Panchi gave a gentle shake to Misha-"Don't go backing on your own words getting lost in thought's of Lux huh?"
Misha stuck her tongue out-"Oh please I'm not love sick like Piya. Ok fine I am but I wasn't thinking about Lux for you information my mind is solely on Piya."
Panchi quizzed Misha-"Why? What has she done?"
Misha's sat on her bed with her sister-"It's not what she's done but more like how she's acting. Piya likes to keep her feelings bottled up except on when it comes to Abhay the girl is totally an open book with him. She's hiding something."
Panchi nudged Misha-"Miss Marple U can not interfere in other peoples life. If Piya's got a problem she'll tell U in her own time. This will only infuriate her."
Misha beamed brightly-"I know Piya better than she gives me credit for. She's my best friend and I know she's hiding her darkest secret from me. If she won't come willingly then I'll have to get it out of her by force."
Panchi tutted-"Misha U are so going to get it. This goes against the code of friendship."
Misha was still adamant on going through with her plans-"I don't care. I know Piya and I can mend the rift between us in time. But I have to know her problem."
The Change
They travelled a long way to reach the underground caves. Sidharth Dobrial had led them to this place from his last visit with Shiv a fellow werewolf. He was truly grateful for all the help and support Shiv had given him. The Raichand's obviously weren't accustomed to werewolves what with them being a life threatening danger to vampires in particular. Shiv tracked Sid but it almost felt like it was the other way. Both men had a common interest. Being werewolves was a curse but strangely so Sid had never felt so much more at home with Shiv. Probably due to the pack mentality. True to Shiv's word his pack stayed away from his sister and the Raichand's.
The night was so cold. Pari was shivering with the light breeze. The smell of the green grass was strong but so was the musty smell of the underground hideout they were heading towards some kind of shaft. Pari had noticed Sid was looking slightly on edge. She didn't blame the poor man. It must feel daunting to know what was coming your way and not being able to do anything about it. Pari wished she could get a read on Lux but he was keeping himself shut off from her. Pari peeked over at Lexie. She was behaving rather peculiar than her usual self. Before heading out Lexie was insistent on tagging along with them. She'd convinced the others she was perfectly fine and this was just a glitch in her system. Pari knew Lexie better than she was letting on. Inside she must be in a turbulent battles against herself and her powers would be making her feel pretty invincible. Pari could tell Lexie had already read her mind from the grim exchange. Oops. Pari couldn't help but let her mind run wild. She was too nervous. Pari took a look at Abhay's hard faced stance. He was brooding as usual but this emotional outburst Pari had felt was uncontainable. Abhay was feeling under pressure to help Lux as best as he could mixed in with major guilt. What was it with vampires and their oversensitivity was all consuming. Pari let go of Abhay's inner turmoil. Abhay glanced Pari's way giving her a fake smile.
Lux controlled his built up aggression. He had no choice but to let this night play out. He could feel himself tremble but used his arms around himself keep it in. Lexie must have felt his anguish. The twin vibe was a pain in the a**. There was nothing he could do to keep his feelings private from her. They were always in tune to how the other was feeling. Lexi came to hold Lux's hand giving him some of her own strength. She washed away his fears uniting their mind as a single unit. Most would find this creepy but Lux was used to his sister invading his privacy in his mind. Lexie was stronger with her magical abilities now shooting out of control. She shut her mental door from Lux delving deep into her own woes rebuking him into staying within the compartment she was comfortable on showing him. They both had a mental sparring of words.
Lexie-Bro keep out of there. I don't want U digging deep. It's for your own benefit.
Lux following behind Sid-Lexie U can't protect me from everything. Shouldn't it be me who is supposed to protect U? I'm older than U. I'm supposed to be your big brother.
Lexie soothed Lux's mind with her lighting him with how much she looked up to him-U will always be my big brother Lux. Nothing will change this. But I'm stronger than U. I want to help by all means necessary.
Lux felt riled up at himself for Lexie's condtition-By pushing yourself into darkness. Lexie this is not a future I wanted for U. We don't know how it will affect U. How deep this darkness you've taken in will seep through U. I don't know if I can handle seeing U lose it. Power can corrupt U Lexie. It almost destroyed who U we're last time.
Lexie still walking holding her brother's hand-Lux quit worrying about me. I got rid of your fear so now you're focusing on me. Don't blame yourself for our predicament. I brought this on myself. Focus on getting through this night for me. Get back to me. I'll need U more than ever now. I'll die if anything happened to U. I'd lose it if I lost U Bhai. Pull through this and we'll deal with tomorrow later. I don't think Abhay's going to handle this well if anything happened to U. He is already in guilt mode.
Lux squeezed his sister's hand-U try to control yourself too little sis. The same works for me too. I'll bloody tears the world apart if anything happened to U. Make sure U keep safe. If I go crazy on U I expect U to do whats right!
Lexie shuddered at the very words-Whatever. Don't think with negativity Bhai. I need U in positive mode. Ok we can beat this s**t together.
Lux felts his sister shower him with their childhood moments-Yeah those we're some of my best moments with U little one.
Lexie hit Lux's shoulder-I'm not little anymore.
Lux's eyes flew towards Lexie filled with pride-I know. But you'll always be my kid sister.
Lexie laid her head on her brother's shoulder-Hey I'm only about 5 minutes younger than U.
Lux let out a chuckle-5 minutes or 5 years makes no difference to me sis.
Lexie moaned-U sound scary when U say it like this it makes me think of Dad. He used to always say the same thing to us. I miss him.
Lux concurred-We'll see him one day Lexie. Up in heaven hopefully.
Lexie hit her brother again-Shut up and think about me for once. I'm your twin dammit. U know what happens to wiccan twins.
Lux waved hi hand up-I know it literally tears us up when one twin dies I get U.
Lexie hit some more happier times in Lux's head with their Mom and Pari and rest of the family from back home-I'm sorry for bringing U out here. I just wanted to help.
Lux kissed his sister gently on her forehead-I know U did sweetie but I'm not sorry. We got to make amends with Da and got to meet some wonderful people.
Lexie's eyes watered-I know.
Lux wiped his sister's tears away-It's Ok to cry Lexie. It shows U care. U don't need to be the strong one.
Lexie-I know Lux. I just don't like showing people U know.
Lux let of Lexie's hand-I think Sid needs a little of your magic. I'm all chilled out now.
Lexie kissed her brother's cheeks-I love U. I KNOW I DON'T SAY IT ENOUGH BUT I LOVE U BROTHER.
Lux replied-Love U too little sis.
Lexie walked on ahead beside Sid. She dared to link her mind with his-Hi Sid! I meant to thank U earlier for saving my life. Well saving me from U know. I'm in your debt.
Sid smiled at Lexie-It's perfectly fine. I'd have done it for anyone.
Lexie knew this was far from the truth-Let me show my gratitude. I want to share something with U. If U don't mind me invading your private thoughts.
Sid didn't know what to say but he wanted Lexie was all he was sure about-"Go for it. I have to warn U therer may be images U might not be comfortable with."
Lexie had an inkling on how Sid felt. It was the reason she was cold towards him but tonight she'd do no such think-I've been warned not hold my hand Sid and open yourself to me.
Sid did as Lexie asked-I can feel U in my head.
Lexie smiled-Good. Now U won't be able to probe my mind but only see a few glimpses of who I am but I'll be able to show U anything from your life. You'll probably feel what I'm feeling as a side effect.

:::What's done is done. This Sid is a little grey but he won't be after Piya in a romantic angle. This is where i've kept this Sid different. He'll be a player but Panchi will not have him as a lover. Sid's already got one person in mind. He just needs to meet her.:::hei aysha,
so misha is on the mission to find out piya's secret..but i hope misha wud accept her after knowing the truth..the transformation part was written well..the way lexie comfort both lux n sid with their pleasant memories n making htem forget their fear was so nice..i feel little tensed like everyone over their near the cave..wish everything works out fine for them..i wish for the morning to come soon..continue soon aysha..
wat was the need to have a vampire sid in this FF too..is it not enough with the other FFs..did u think panchi wud be left alone if she didnt have a supernatural partner?ok we'll cope up with..but dont make sid a real evil one like the others..pls...
