Chand had suspected something was wrong with Abhay. He was worried by the lack of contact mentally he was prepared for the worst. This was not a good sign. he suspected foul play. He had to find Abhay and fast. They didn't have a moment to lose. Haseena closed her eyes trying to picture Abhay. Her mind was filled by the events that transpired. He was in trouble and so were the others. No they didn't have any time to lose. From what they gathered there were two casualties. Lux and Piya. Both needed tending to and the Wiccan duo were crumbling under pressure. Their force Field was weak. They never dreamt Maya would strike so soon. Then again what did they really expect from a woman hell bent on ruining Abhay's life just for kicks and her insane version of being in love with Abhay.

Abhay guarded Piya with his body shielding her away from the wolf bit as he tried to save Lux from getting but. There was a lot of blood dripping down the side of Lux's neck where Maya had bit him. abhay wished he could get hold of the wicked b***h and stake her quick and fast. If only this was easy with Maya being an Original Vampire. To kill her off for good he'd need ashes of the oldest tree thanks to the some real hardcore magic by Hecate. Maya's sister but Abhay just didn't have the time to locate it. Only the most powerful witch or Vampire could locate it. Finding one of those was difficult as it was and none of his family members tread on the dark path to acquire such skills. Abhay found it hard to keep calm under pressure with so much calamity within his surroundings. He desperately needed help. He'd got the message off of Chand and Haseena on their way to help Abhay out of this predicament. Lux was seriously injured by both Maya and the head wold took a bite out of Lux'x arm as he held it in mid air to protect Abhay and Piya from getting bit. Lux held in there while Pari and Lexie only managed to hold on telekinetically on to the invisible shield as both screamed out a cry of disbelief. Lux had been injured but they couldn't risk the pack entering it would only endanger them.

Abhay let out a roar-"LUX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Lux gave out a cry of urgency as his body was throbbing-"AAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

Maya and Danish avoided being bit by the Wolf before them. It was easy to keep the wolf at bay. They didn't want to kill it. Only as a last resort were they going to do this. They needed the wolf to finish off Abhay or better yet Piya. Maya's eyes gleamed with delight seeing the view of Piya's eyes shut tight. As if it were a nightmare in Abhay's arms where she was safe. Yeah the wolf was all over Abhay and Piya thanks to her bleeding and Abhay's vampire scent drew it even nearer. Stupid Lux had to play the Hero. She killed three birds with one stone. Lux was infected now. The smell of blood had made her thirsty but she held back. Maya had to hold back for safety measure. Danish was on form today. Her little soldier had done her proud. Both circled super fast to avoid getting caught.

Sid focused long and hard on the Head wolf to stop it's attack on Abhay and Lux but the stupid mutt wasn't listening. Sid felt useless. He wished he could take the daft animal one on one. He saw Lexie's grave face with the tears trickling down. Her eyes were tightly closed. He saw her bite her lips with her digging her nails into her skin for pain release. It was the first time he saw a tigress fully enthralled in her bid to do all she could to save her kin. He had failed them all. Now he just wanted to wolf out and fight to the bitter end.

Lexie fought so contain her emotions in check. Inside she was dying bit by bit. Her brother needed her. she found his mental connection slip slightly from reach scaring the s**t out of her. lexie pleaded with herself to focus on the job ahead. Her brother was still alive but at what cost? She didn't have time to blame herself or scold her brother because she knew if the role were reversed she'd have done the same thing. It was a code prewritten in their genetic makeup. Lexie wasn't just fighting a battle against her foes but it was a battle of the wills. No she would not cave. She'd go on further till she could bear no more. Her eyes were firmly shut to close her off of the nightmare before her. this night would never be forgotten. Her enemy might have won the war but the battle was still all to play for. Her mind was given a little tug from Pari who was in the same boat as her. mind set on finishing this off but the ache was the same.

Pari could feel all her reserves waning down but renewed anger surged through bringing in the blackness in her. Wiccans were warned to keep within their limits but this was a one off. Black magic was not to be toyed with but if there ever was a time to use it this was it. Lexie agreed. Playing nicely got them into this tight dead end. Now was to get the big guns out. The night blackened further with the lightening falling before Maya and Danish. It slowed them down but vampires healed super fast. It was one thing they had over Abhay who was weak due to feeding on animal blood.

Chand and Haseena finally arrived at the scene with back up. A device which could only be used once by the vampires to disable all magical beings with a sonic blast. Unfortunately this would put everyone in this very ruin out. Chand and Haseena were also included meaning Lexir, Pari, Luc and Piya were safe to go while the war would resume after the mini blast was over. It was the only way to save them. They knew Abhay would want Piya safe at all cost even at the expense of their lives. Chand would do anything for Abhay. Haseena nodded. Maya saw the device from a distant grabbing hold of Danish taking him away from this chaotic onslaught of violence she loved so much. Her plan had worked. Lux was out still protecting Abhay and Piya the pathetic fool. He was every inch of Abhay's shadow. Lux was exactly like Abhay. A saviour to the bitter end.

Maya to Lux-Pity it had to be this way Lux-"We could have made a formidable team. Shame to waste such a life as a mutt."

Lux just saw blackness-"Bite me b***h!"

Maya cackled high pitched-"Done that already! I can't risk infecting myself now can I? U are cursed now!"

Abhay bellowed so loud it made Piya shake-"U will pay for this Maya."

Maya laughed so loud-"I can see how much i'll pay for this Abhay. U can't kill me Abhay face it. You're too weak. Always have been and always will be. Danish move your butt now!"

Danish growled loudly at his annoyance from being tamed back-"I was having so much fun tearing them apart."

Maya grinned her dark smile-"There are other battles to win my pet. Abhay isn't going to take this blow lying down. He will avenge this assault. Life just got so much more interesting. Now move before we get laid down by them wretched Raichands."

Danish obeyed Maya and hurtled out-"Next time Raichand U will pay."

The pack of Wolves shifted their attack mode to have the inner circle pushed while the others had their eyes directly towards Chand and Haseena. Lexie took in their presence giving them a signal with her bloody wrists. Chand and Haseena opened the device with the flamed torch in one hand and let loose. The high pitched sonic radar hit beyond human hearing affecting all the wolves including Sid as they fell to the ground in agony. They howled so loud it make the witches and Piya shiver in this sudden outburst. The distress had burst their eardrums making their ears bleed. Chand, Haseena and Abhay growled in anguish. Abhay was on the ground clutching to Piya and holding Lux in his grasp. Chand and Haseena were already gone. They did their job and had a smile as they lay on the ground dropping the device.

With that Maya carried Danish in her arms and climbed up the ruin walls jumping high into the sky. They landed well past the circle hit by lightening buzzing through their system. Maya screamed in agony dropping Dansih from her grasp to the ground. He groaned in pain. Maya was p****d off at the witch but she was impressed she had it in her to hurl a few old school tricks. She'd accomplished what she came for. She broke the blasted Wiccans. Disabling their connection pushing them directly into a dark path. Lexie and Pari would soon be so lost they'd never come out in one piece. As for Lux she smiled was a cursed soul just like she'd planned. He was no longer part of the magic trio thus ending the reign of a power waiting to rise. Abhay was a tortured soul anyway. His little black eyes were to die for. He was going to really rue the day he ever endangered another soul just to protect the one person he foolishly claims to love. He would realize soon the only person for him was ever going to be her not Piya. As for little miss sunshine Piya. Her life was upside down now. Maya made sure the fear was all she had to hold on to. Piya was never going to forget this night alright! Her teeth were showing a sharp satisfaction while Danish was sulking not being able to finish off Piya. Maya ignored the idiot. Piya was certainly in line for a therapist. Maya was sure this would bring a glitch in Abhay's perfect life with her. maya was just peeved at Chand and Haseena bringing in the device to play. She'd underestimated Abhay's guardians. They were a thorn in her backside. No worries their meddling didn't do any harm to her in the long run. Now it was time to sit back and watch the play unfold.

Lexie, Pari broke the shield falling to the ground. Their face was a mess blood dripping down. Lexie ran past the still bodies of the pack. They quickly went to tend to Lux who was laying on the floor in agony. He was so brave. Her big brother curled up holding on Abhay. He winced and writhed in apin but watching Lexie made him mask the true extent to his condition. Pari held on Lux examining the damage. His neck was gnawed at and his arms were bitten. Lexie wouldn't shed her tears and nor would Pari. They were saving it for revenge. B****h would pay even at the lengths they'd go through to do this. Lexie and Pari used their powers to move Lux into their jeep.

Lexie masks her worried voicing her calmness to Lux-"Bro everything will be right as rain. We are finally free."

Lux just gave Lexie one of his cute smiles to stop Lexie from worrying mentally telling her-I'll be fine. Forget me get the others. Piya needs the help desperately not me. Go get her. how's Abhay?

Pari answered-"He's fine physically though he'll heal fast. It's going to be fine Lux. I promise you we will fix this. Don't waste your energies on them concentrate on yourself. Ok!"

They came back for Abhay who had the scars to his handsome face shifting him away from Piya was hard work due to the tight grasp he'd had on her. Abhay had tried his best to protect both Pia and Lux. Lexie saw the visual images of the whole thing replaying from both Lux and Piya. Then it was Chand, and Haseena turn using the same techniques. They carried the device to the car. Now it was Piya's turn. She was badly bruised and couldn't physically move either. Her face was so still. Eyes were filled with nightmares she'd never forget. Questions were airing in a million ways. She was numb. Silent. This frightened Lexie but she didn't have time to sort Piya emotionally right now. They had casualties to tend to. They used their powers to Haul Sid over to the car bodies all on the floor while Piya and Lux took the back seat. Pari used her powers to keep Piya and Lux in a serene place mentally to keep the darkness away and take away the pain. They had a good mind to burn all the wolves and finish them off for good. It was the best strike but they had bigger problems.

Raichand Mansion

All four sleeping members were put to bed. Lexie didn't know what else to do. They'd sleep this off in an hour. Piya was taken to Abhay's bedroom as she just rocked back and forth in silence. She was a mute. Lexie's heart went out to her. she was still dealing with the shock. Abhay lay beside her. she just watched him with fear in her eyes.

Lexie stroked Piya's curly hair-"Piya do U want us to stay with U?"

Piya gave nothing back.

Lexie tried again-"Piya do U want anything? One of us to sit with U?"

Piya wasn't listening as she continued rocking her body protecting herself.

Lexie gave Piya a blanket-"This will keep U warm. Do U want to shift in another room? Away from Abhay?"

This got Piya's attention for a minute second but she reverted back.

Lexie pndered on her best move-"Do U want to stay with us? Abhay won't hurt U! He never would U know that right?"

Piya was blank like a canvas.

Lexie was getting p****d off at the situation. She didn't have time to babysit-"I'm serious Piya snap the hell out of this! Lux is lying downstairs. We don't know what the hell to do. We need U to say something dammit. I need to know U won't do anything stupid."

Piya was unmoved.

Lexie did what she knew was best-"Forgive me Piya but i have better things to tend to." Lexie used her powers to zap Piya to sleep. She couldn't risk Abhay at the hands of Piya's uncontrollable emotions. They were void of anything which was dangerous. It was for Piya's safety.

Downstairs Pari did a healing spell on Lux wiping away his wounds. Pari was crying inside. She hid the unshed tears away from Lux who already knew their state of mind.

Lexie put on a fake smile for show-"I put Piya to sleep. Lux U and I are going to have some serious us time aren't we Pari? Like the old times. Remember how much U hated us being around U when we were little. Now U are going to get sick at the sight of us."

Pari carried on giving Lux a cold compress-"Yeah like the Old times. U loved it secretly didn't U nosing in on your sisters."

Lux couldn't talk out of the extreme pain he'd felt all over told them mentally-Girls stop all the reminiscing. How's Piya?

Lexie gave it to Lux straight-"She's a wreck mentally anyway. Her wounds will heal but who knows how she'll deal with this bro. U focus on getting better for us. Conserve your energy. We have a lot more bickering to do."

Lux laughed holding his chest. It hurt so bad-Yeah. A fight U always win baby sister. U need to call the gang they'll be worried.

Pari told Lux-"We'll get on it just stay quiet and let us do the rest."
