Chapter 10:
Everyone woke up early because Dadi had said everyone would go for a family picnic, as it was an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other well. Mainly, Geet and Maan because they haven't even known each other for two-weeks! Adi had to work and Pinky's dad wasn't feeling well so she stayed with him. Everyone was upset they couldn't come. But work and family come first.
The girls had talked after the engagement party and had decided on what to wear. The girls would wear track suits, since they wanted to hike near the falls.
They all met in the lobby of the Handa Mansion. Everyone was excited.
"Yeh kya aaj ke din toh please apne phone band kar dijiye!" said Rano and Sonia glaring at their husbands.
"Agar ye phone band ho jaye na toh tumhare botox ke paise kaun dega?"said Balvindar high-fiving Sukhdev.
The two women left and the boys laughed with the uncles.
"Yeh kya kiya aap ne dad?" said Dev warning him.
"Ab mana parega I know.."said Balvindar looking at Sukhdev.
"Lekin humne socha subhah subhah lardayi kar lein aur ek NORMAL din ki shuruat karain" said Sukhdev.
Maan instantly remembered Geet was mad at him.
"Ye Geet bhi na, shaadi ho rahi hai to iska matlab main uske aage-peeche phiroon.." he said while putting his hands on his waist.
They were in the coach off to the picnic site. They would come the next morning. The girls were sitting at the back and the boys stepped in.
"Yeh aap log peeche kyun bethe huwe hain?"asked Dev while wrinkling his brows.
"Kyun aap logon ke sar pe bethe?"said Anjii acting all fake-innocent and blinking continuously.
The girls bursted into laughter. Then Maan stepped on.
"Geet mujhe tumse baat karni hai'"
Geet looked at him. Everyone Oooed. She got up and went to where he was standing.
"Oye gadhe! Main tumse nahi baat kar rahi, and I came just cuz main drama nahi create karna chahti sab ke saamne"she said whispering to his ear.
Maan's concerned expression changed to W*H!
"Geet tum kyun ghussa ho?"
"Shabash! rajkumar sab apna brain use karna nahi chahte, ye sochne ke liye ke..main kyun ghussa hoon. DO THE MATH! Aur jab formula mil jaye to bata dena!!" she stomped off.
"Ufff'ye lardki mujhe paagal kar de gi!!!''
The whole way Maan was trying to figure out ways to how Geet would stop behaving this way.
"Kya hua, tu kuch bol kyun nahi raha?not that you speak a lot!'' asked Armaan leaning over to whisper to him.
"Kuch nahi woh'"
"Is she mad?"
"How did you know"
"Experience ma boy, experience. Don't worry you'll learn. If you want me to help'."
"She asked if she looked pretty, and I said yes, She's going to be MSK's future wife ofcourse she had to be pretty."
"Ahhhhh'.see you should have said something like'you're mine and will always be nothing can ever describe how beautiful you are'."
Maan stared at him jaw open.
"Life main pehli baar bohat kuch karna pardta hai. Close your mouth she's looking, you look ridiculous. And when we arrive just take her to a corner and apologize. Simple."
He instantly closed his mouth.
"Lagta hai Ridhimma ne chakkar chadhay hain tumhe" said Maan smirking.
"Tu apni ko toh pehlay pata phir baat karenge."
They reached the site and Geet was second last to get off. Maan grabbed her hand and pulled her behind a tree.
"Maan mujhe chodo! Don't talk to me' let me go! Sarre dhoond rahe hon gay"
"Geet I just wanted to say-"
He was cut off with Geet's frightened expression. Her eyes widened and'..
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHAHHH!!!!!!!"
"Kya huwa Geet!!!!!"
He looked back but saw nothing. She jumped onto him.
"Maan it's a snake!!!!!!!!"
He was now carrying her and her head was tucked on his shoulder. Her eyes were closed shut.
"Kahaan?"
"Oye salle! Neeche dekhna aata nahi hai kya?"
He looked down and controlled his laughter. He then smiled.
"Maan why are you standing here! It's gunna bite!! RUN!! Save us before we-'"
"Geet, it's a garden snake, it's the size of your hand, not even. You won't die!"
"Tum mujhe marvana chahte ho!! Maan run!"
"I'm not your personal fitness trainer, kay jo exercise karna chahoo gi main karvaoon ga.BTW its gone. Tumne usko bhagaa diya"
She opened one eye to see if the coast was clear..then the other.
"Ye koi chor nahi tha jo maine bhaga diya."
Armaan and Anji came.
"Sorry guys humme nahi pata tha yahaan pe censored content hai"said Armaan covering his eyes.
"Waise Maan, why are you carrying her?"said Anjali laughing with Armaan.
Geet glared at Maan then said.
"Latter mangwaoon ya firetruck yahaan se utarne ke liye?"
He set her on the ground. She grabbed a confused Anjali's arm and left to picnic site.
"Main, Yeh LARDKI!"
"Lardki! Kahaan?"said Armaan.
Maan glared at him then stormed off.
Armaan went after him.
"Yo, man chill!"
The girls decided to go for a hike dragging their hubby's in case of animals.
When they reached the waterfall the girls started taking their track suits off.
"YEH KYA KAR RAHI HO?" said Dev.
The girls ignored and jumped into the water. They had shorts and tanks on underneath. But Geet climbed up and sat on a rock to soaked her feet.
"Smart! Yaar humne kyun nahi socha?'' said Atul.
"Because tum lardkay ho and you guys have no brain!" yelled Ridzi
Armaan took his shirt off and jumped into the water with that.
"Dikha de mere bhai!" yelled Atul jumping after Anjali.
"Nahii''. Stop!" yelled Ridhimma and Anjali while blocking the splashes that soaked them.
Naintara and Dev were in their little corner admiring the beauty while romancing.
Maan took his shirt off and went to where Geet was.
She was busy encouraging Anji to notice him behind.
"Geet!! Tum bhi aao na!"shouted Ridz without looking over to her.
Geet got up and saw Maan. She was startled and lost balance. He quickly grabbed her waist, crashing her into his bare chest. Geet felt the heat. She opened her eyes and saw his abs. Her eyes lingered over his body. Not only was he handsome but had a perfect body too.
She then realized she should stop being perverted. Maan noticed this and'smirked wider.
"If your done with your eye exercise can I say something?"
"Darn! He noticed." she thought
"Main'maine kuch nahi dekha, aur na to tum koi John Abraham ho ke main tumpe fida ho jaaon."
"I know I am better, aur agar kuch nahi dekha toh sharma kyun rahi ho?"
"Main nahi sharma rahi!"
"Really."
"Behre hoo, kahaa na"
"Toh phir tumhari cheeks kyun red hain?" he said pointing with his eyes.
He then pulled her closer and'kissed her cheek.
"See it's burning up too.." and then his phone started ringing, so he balanced her and went to answer, leaving Geet to touch where he had kissed her.
