Chapter 26:

Geet was sitting in front of the dressing table and combing her hair. Maan entered the room.

Geet looked at him and started to giggle.

"Haso haso!"

"Aap Nakul pe apna ghussa kyun utarte hain, mujh par to apki chalti nahi hai, lekin koi baat nahi agar dadi ne raat ka pooch hi liya tha!" she said looking at him from the mirror.

"Geet, you know I have no problem showing my feelings, agar kuch kar diya pir mat burka odh lena!" he said warningly.

"Awww my cute little tiger!"

"GEET!!!!!"

"Mujhe mera naam remind karne koi zaroorat nahi hai, I swear din ke adhe shabd aapke GEET hote hain!"

He bent lower and bit her ear and nuzzled her hair.

"Shopping kab karni hai?" Geet asked excited.

They went giggling about their plans and Geet temporarily forgot about Maan and the whole issue.

"Yeh Geet bhi na, shayad I was getting too pushy, uff, yeh lardki mujhe pagal kar degi!"

He then dialed Geet's number.

"Yeah it's nice eh?" she said happily.

"The green really suits you haina?" she said while putting the pistachio green and silver sari on her.

"Acha ab der ho rahi hai, I'm going home, chal tujhay drop kar deti hoon" Geet said.

"Tune le liya Geet woh black and pink sari?"

"Haan, I loved it! Waise baki ki shopping Adi ke saath karna!" she said nudging her shoulder.

Geet came and was about to go to her room, after showing dadi the dress she bought.

"Geet, beta Sukhdev ne kya kaha?"said Balvinder passing by.

"Dad bas kaam ho raha hai boutique ka'."

"Tell me if you need any guidance beta?" he said putting a hand on her forehead as a sign of encouragement.

When Maan entered he saw Geet laying on the bed and humming songs, and slightly moving to them while on the bed.

He walked inside while ignoring her and went to change. After he was done he came and went to lay down beside her.

She ignored him making a "WHATEVER'..HMMM" type of face.

He smiled at her innocence.

"Geet" he said softly.

She ignored him.

"Acha sorry na sweetheart" he said pulling her closer.

"Haath mat lagao" she said warningly trying to hide her slight smile.

"Fine, can I listen too?"

"Geet, sorry na jaanu"

"Ahhaha jaanu raat ke waqt main jaanu yaad ajaata hai inko"

"Geet'sorry na baby" he said holding his ears.

"While I listen to this song you will do 100 push-ups"

He pouted then went beside the bed and started'.

Her eyes widened at his speed.

She was soo lost in thoughts that when he was done he came over and pecked her cheeks.

"Next time, say like 500 cuz that was easy'"

He smirked.

"Achaa ab khush?" he said lifting her up into his arms.

"Maan put me down'."

"No!"

He started to spin her and she got scared and tugged him closer.

"Maan I'll fall!!" she said giggling.

After their little spinning session they lay tired.

She started singing'.

"Shaadi jo kiya hai tune to ab nakhre bhi utha'..ah ha!"

"Wo hi to kar raha hoon'."

"Gaana hai smart-one!"

"Acha mujhe laga mujhe chirhane ke liye tha!" he said sarcastically.

After they glared at each other he pulled her closer.

"I love you!"

"I love you too'."

He kissed her'.and she kissed him back.

He put his head on her neck and could listen to the music she was listening to.

They fell asleep like that while listening to Labon ko''.
