Chapter 23:
Geet woke up and felt light headed, then she looked over and saw Maan wasn't in the room either.
She only remembered that she climbed the window, and she remembered asking Maan something's but she couldn't remember the details.
She looked at the time to see it was 11:00 a.m.
Today, dadi had already gone to the farm house to see the work being done and today Sonia, and Balvinder had an official office day, where they would be inspecting the atmosphere and improvements.
She thought Maan would have probably left for work.
She brushed her teeth and went downstairs.
She was holding her had in the palm of her hands and she bumped into Nakul.
"Sssorryy Madam, aisa kabhi dubara nahi hoga" he said afraid.
"Koi baat nahi, aisa hota rehta hai, actually ghalti hum dono ki thi aap maafi mat maangiyay. Lagta hai aap ke Maan sir ne aap ko dara ke rakha hua hai. Chill!"
She left smiling into the kitchen.
Nakul stood there trying to figure out if chill meant go take a cold shower or drink something cold.
"Ouch! Ssss"
Geet saw Maan cut his finger. She ran over to him.
"Paagal insaan, tumhe kisne kaha tha kitchen main aane ke liye!!" she said putting his finger under cold water.
He stood there staring at her worrying for him.
"Uff! Mar dala!" he said punching his chest.
"It's okay Maani finger cut huwi hai tum aise to na kaho mar dala!" she said upset now.
"Achaaa, Geet I'm fine it doesn't hurt!"
"Tum office kyun nahi gaye?"
"Kyun ki you were in such a state"
She took the First Aid box out sat on the counter infront of where he was standing and bandaged his cut.
"Where is the cook smarty?"
"GEET!!!"
"Jo pucha hai na uska- ouchhh ma head!!"
"I wanted to make breakfast for you and dekha you're not feeling well!"he said being soft at the first part and angry at the second.
"Acha naa chup!! Main samjhi woh apple juice tha! It's not my fault!!"
"I think tumhe ab bhook nahi lag rahi…." He said
"Magar kyun"
"Kyun ki subhah subhah TUM MERA DIMAAG JO KHAA CHUKI HO!!"
"You know what…" they were inches apart angry when Nakul came in and broke the war apart.
Maan immediately moved away.
"Ji"said Geet.
"Woh madam aap ne kaha tha ke chill, iska kya matlab hai"
"KYA!!" said Maan.
Geet started laughing then she got off and walked over to him.
"Chill ka matlab hai relax aaram karo, it's okay"she said giggling.
Maan gave them a cold glare and then he put the food into a plate. He made her cheese omelet and toast.
She walked over…..
"What's cooking?....Yummm you made this for me, awwww!!"
She kissed him on the cheek. And sat down to eat.
"Wah-pyaar main uska choona bhi mujhe paagal kar raha hai!" he thought.
"Ab khade kyun ho, come and eat!"
After a nice breakfast. Geet was watching a movie and Maan had an urgent meeting.
He decided he needed to tell Geet his feelings…whether she loved him or not.
"Woh mujhse pyaar karti hai yeh nahi pata magar woh mujhse nafrat bilkul bhi nahi karti"
She was watching HumTum and suddenly she remembered Dadi's lovestory. She wondered if this was love then what did she feel for Maan.
"Kyun main aankhain band karti hoon to mujhe Maan dikhai deta hai, I get jealous if he merely looks at a girl, I feel incomplete when he is not there, I want him to notice me. Jo hamare beech pehlay huwa uska mujhe koi regret nahi……shayad yehi pyaar hai……..I think I'm in love. Waise bhi kuch dinon se I have forgotten about John Abraham. Mr.Perfect yeh tumne mujhe kya kar diya. Main tumse bach nahi payi, and now that I realize I have fallen helplessly in love with you!!"
And she got lost in thought whether he loved her or not.
He sent her roses with a card that had an invitation for dinner at 8:00 p.m. at one of Delhi's finest restaurants.
Nakul came up and handed her the roses. He left before she could say anything.
Geet looked and jumped with excitement!!
"Yeh kitne pyaare hain!!"
She smelled the flowers.
She read the card it said:
Behka main behka,
Wo behki hawa si aayi,
Ek hi nazar mein sab,
Manzil wanzil paayi,
Hatke alag si thi,
Bilkul juda si,
Naa hi adaayein, naa koi angdaayi,
Dinner at 8:00 p.m. the driver will pick you up.
She put the flowers in the vase and she was jumping with excitement!!!
"Maan itna romantic ho sakta hai yeh maine kabhi socha hi nahi tha!"
She started to go through her closet….
"No….no…no….pata nahi us akroo ko kya pasand hai…..ye!!" she decided on a white sari net sari with black sequences on top.
She did smokey eyes with a sheer light lip gloss.
She sat in the car and the car dashed away, bringing Cinderella to her Prince Charming.
