Geet and Dadima stayed home and started preparing lunch for the guests. Geet was felt very relieved when she heard Dadima speak about Dev's rishta…but somewhere down the line she still had this fear about him and Maan. She was scared what if he does something to Maan…she hated everything about Dev and now Sargam who was getting closer and closer to Dev with each passing minute. She didn't want to make it obvious or tell Sargam to not talk to Dev or else she would bomb her with so many questions….

Dadima: Is everything ready beta?

Geet: Ji Dadima everything is ready…

Dadima: Why don't you call Maan and ask him where he is? The guests are going to arrive any minute and they still haven't retuned yet..

Geet: Ji Dadima…(Geet dialed Maan's office number)

Maan: Hello

Geet: Ji where are you?

Maan smiled hearing her voice: why?

Geet: what do you mean why? Where are you?

Maan: ohh so my wife is checking up on me to see if I am really in the office or not

Geet: Nahi..I called because guests are going to come any minute…you and Sargam are not home yet

Maan: I thought you called me to tell me that you missed me

Geet: why would I say that to you?

Maan got angry: ohh so you don't miss me?

Geet smiled: Ghar kab aah rahe ho?

Maan: Geet topic badlne ki try mat karo

Geet: maine kya kiya? Giggled

Maan heard her laugh: You are enjoying getting me mad right…I have to go now

Geet: ek minute Maan

Maan: kya hai

Geet: mujhe aapse ek baath kheni thi

Maan smiled: haan kaho

Geet: main

Maan: yeah

Geet: aapko

Maan: aapko kya?

Geet: miss

Maan: hmmm

Geet: nahi karti thi (hung up the phone)

Maan looked at his phone.. "how dare she hung up the phone on me?...main bhi Maan Singh Khurana hoon…watch out Geet"

Geet smiled as she hung up the phone, than she heard Dadima calling her from the kitch

Dadima: Geet beta try this?

Geet ran to the kitchen: Ji Dadima

Dadima: Did you talk to Maan

Geet: yeah he should be on his way soon

Dadima: Alright beta…why don't you get ready?

Geet: Ji Dadima

After few minutes Dev and Sargam came home. Dadima was surprised to see Dev only and not Maan…

Sargam: DM I missed you so much (hugged Dadima)

Dadima: beta did you enjoy the party…I missed you too

Sargam: yeah DM it was so much fun..we played so many games there and ate so much food

Dadima laughed: That's good beta…

Sargam: DM mom kahan hai

Dadima: upstairs…she is getting ready

Sargam: Are we going out DM?

Dadima: no beta we are having guests over..go upstairs and get ready

Sargam: yay! I will meet mumma right now

Dev: Sargam let me come with you too…I don't want you to fall down the stairs

Sargam: Give me a piggy back ride chahu

Dev laughed: Alright…(he bends down to his knees) climb aboard

Dadima: Dev be careful

Sargam: DM Chill…you should try this too

Dadima: no thank you meri maa…main chill ho jaaongi magar tumhare dad nahi chill ho jayge

Sargam: Dad ke gusse ki toh adadt hai mujhe (laughed)..chalo chachu

Dadima: bahut badmash hogayi hai

Geet sat before her mirror applying her makeup without her dupatta..suddenly she heard Sargam voice..Geet turned around happy to see Sargam home with Maan but was shocked to see her with Dev…Dev just stared at her from top to bottom…Geet didn't like his looks at all, then she realized that she is not wearing her dupatta..she quickly grabs her dupatta and looks at Dev angrily…

Sargam: you are looking nice mumma

Geet smiled at Sargam: papa kaha hai

Dev: Actually Maan told me to pick up Sargam he would be late

Geet ignored Dev: Sargam lets go I will make you get ready

Sargam: Chachu take me to my room

Geet: NO! Get down now and lets go

Sargam: but mumma chachu will give me ride

Geet: Sargam I said get down NOW! (Sargam was startled by her sudden anger)

Sargam: ji mumma

Geet grabbed Sargams hand and dragged her to her room leaving Dev…she locked the door right away and hugged Sargam

Geet: Am sorry..for yelling at you

Sargam went to the bed and started crying..Geet sat next to her

Geet: Sargam I said am sorry beta..please mumma ko maaf kar do

Sargam: you yelled at me for the first time

Geet: Am sorry beta…I will cry to if you don't hug me in the next 3 seconds

Sargam got up and hugged Geet… "I will never yell at you ever again..now come on let's get ready…we are having guests and you know what that means"

Sargam looked at Geet confused and shook her head as a no..Geet wiped her tears and hold her face

Geet: that means that my Sargam can eat as much ice cream as she can after dinner and papa won't yell at you

Sargam got happy: ohh yeah..you are the best!

Geet: I know..ok lets go and get ready..ohh first here call your dad and ask him when he is coming…

Sargam dialed Maans number…

Maan: hello meri payari beti..Papa ko miss kiya?

Sargam: Mama told me to ask you when you are coming? (Geet was shocked at Sargam for saying her name)

Geet whispered: I told you to ask him..why did you say my name?

Sargam hold on papa…she whispered back: because you told me to ask papa..thats why?

Maan could hear their whispers..he smiled: helloo? Sargam are you there?

Sargam: haan papa…so when are you coming?

Maan: give me the phone to your mom

Sargam hands the phone to Geet: Mama papa wants to talk to you

Geet took the phone: j j ji

Maan: aab main tumhe tab baat karonga jab tum muhjhe kahogi ki tumhe mujhe miss kiya

Geet looked at Sargam and smiled: Ji..

Maan: Let's see how long this goes…bye sweetheart

Sargam took Geet downstairs after helping her get ready…mostly everyone had arrived by the time they were down..Geet went and stood next to Dadima

Dadima: This is my bahu Geet

Geet: Namaste

Dadima: Yeh hai Meera ki mummy papa..aur who hai Meera

Geet went and sat next to Meera..she liked Meera she was beautiful…she somehow wasn't happy…she didn't want this girls life to be ruined by Dev..she knew his true intentions and how he is…

Geet: Dadima main table set kar deti hoon

Dadima: sure beta

Meera: umm Geet bhabi if you don't mind…can I help you?

Geet smiled at Meera: Sure Meera

Sargam: DM aapne mujhe introduce nahi kiya

Dadima laughed at Sargam: How can I forget…this is Sargam the life of our house…she is very naughty…Sargam go and call your chachu

Sargam: he might be getting ready DM

Meanwhile in the kitchen..Geet and Meera were getting along so well..she really liked her…

Geet: so Meera what do you do?

Meera: Well I am currently doing my MBA in business

Geet: that is really nice…you are going to work after marriage?

Meera: Yeah, I like to be independent…kya aap bhi kam par jaati hai?

Geet: No..I stay home..Maan tells me to join his company and work with him..but I would rather stay home and take care of things here

Meera: wow that is so nice…how did you guys meet?

Geet smiled thinking back to their first meeting: I used to work as his secretary

Meera: really?

Geet: yeah. He was the one that proposed to me

Meera: that is so sweet bhabhi…but you should think about going back to work

Geet: thanx..umm I will see…now let's go set the table up
