The street was very quiet, only their was rustilng of trees and one or two cars passing could be heard.Mayank and nupur started walking on the footpath, they were feeling chill but it wanst too much, wind was gently playing with nupur's left out strands of hair from her pony tail..

M..its so peaceful..

N..hmmm..adhi raat ho gai hai ..

M..tumhe shor psnd hai ya phir asiey khamoshi..

N..depend karta hai, agr main sad hon tu main akeli nahi bethti, nahi tu main ro ro k mar hi jao, lekin agr khush hon tu main akeli celebrate karti hon..

M..hmmm..tu apni problems se bhagti ho?..

N..nahi, bus akele beth k kia problem ka karon..merey pass koi hota hi nai share karne k liye..

M..gunjan hai tu sahi ..

N..haan, per main apni problems us se share nai karti..

M..Ku?..

N..wo choti hai..pereshan ho jati hai...aur jis ki waja se problem milti hai us k peche par jati hai..she over reacts..

M..i dont think so, merey pass tu bht pyar se ayi thi..

M..shaddi wale din..mujhse kehne ayi thi plz meri di ka khayal rakhna..

Mayank was shocked at her striaght forward answer, her eyes sparkled in the moonlight...and mayank didnt know what to say..

Nupur turned her face away, sensing that she had said too much, so she decided to change the topic..

N..umm..ap ne koi khuab nahi dekhey..

Mayank was still lost in her answer..

M..umm...nahi..kabhi time nahi tha...

N,..acha aur gunjan ne kia kaha ap se?

M..kuch khas nahi..but she is very protective about u...

N..haan..usey lagta hai k main bht weak hon, duniya ka muqabala nahi kar sakti...

M....well i agree with her partially...tum ajnabi logon ka muqbala kar sakti ho per un ka nahi jo tumhare kareeb hain,, u are very weak when it comes to ur family..

N..haan, per family pe tu sab hi weak hotey hain.

M..no i dont..i never regret my decisions, if they turn out to be good then i am proud, but if not, then i work to make them better, i never back out..

Nupur felt something peaceful

M..and dont worry , i mean it for all decsions...

He said it turning towards nupur with a gentle reassuring smile...a tear was forming in her eyes, but it died soon..

Nupur agian bit her toungue, she was getting too far...

Nupur closed her eyes and she was very nervous...

M..dekho nupur, i dont promsie that i could love u..but i promise that i will never leave u, pata nahi jaisa pyar tum expect karti ho mujhe kabhi hoga ya nahi,per agr tum se nahi hua tu ksi aur se bhi nahi hoga...tum mujhe bht psnd ho..but i am not sure abt love...

Nupur dint expected him to be open so soon,

N..wo main..

M...i dont runaway from my feelings and i dont hide anyhing, mian ne jo feel kiya hai keh diya hai...i am not that sort of a soft person..mtlb roamntic types and all..main ne kabhi koi couple dekha hi nahi hai apni life main...

N..koi baat nahi, waise bhi main ap ko psnd hon, merey liye ina hi kafi hai.and plz dnt worry, ye mat sochiye k ap ko mery sath kuch extra acha behave karna hai bcz i dream too mcuh, if i dream than that is not ur fault...i can mould my dreams ...

M..dekho nupur main..

N..dekhiye, plz..wo kia kehte ho ap..no courtsey, ap ka qassor nahi hai k main kia sochti hon aur main bhi bina ghalti k kisi ko saza nahi deti..

Nupur said it imitating mayank's deep voice..mayank couldnt help laughing...

M..ok cuteee...

he gently pulled her cheeks and nupur was mesmirsed by his touch...

Thye both then walked back to thier home, and they decided not to sleep bcz again it was about morning and then they would again wake up at midnight...

Maynk started studying maps and nupur took out her novel.

Later, they went they went to a nearby store to buy things from thier home,..Thier university was to start in one week's time...and later that evening mayank said..

M...nupur mujhe kal interview k liye jana hai..

nupur who was busy reading her novel closed the book..

N..kaun sa interview..

M..ik soil testing lab main assistant ki post hai...i have to work part time..

N....lekin ku?..

M..nupur yahan her koi kaam karta hai..why should i waste time, waise bhi mujhe tu kam karna hi tha..obviously i cant convert indain rupees into dollars and spend, dollars main earn kar k hi dollars main spend kar sakte hain..

N..hmmm...tu mujhe bhi kaam karna hai...

M..ab ye kia baat hoyi?..

N..nahi...mujhe bhi kaam karna hia..laiye mujhe bhi newpaper dijiye...

M..nupur main kaam kar raha hon na..

N..ap hi ne kaha k yahan her koi kaam karta hai..tu main ku nahi....

M..nahi wo tu thek hai per tum itni ..

N....kia main itni ...?..lazy hon?..

M..nahi nahi..tum itni innocent ho, i cant let u go and work anywhere,part time ka mtlb hai raat ko kaam karna para ga...

N..hmmm...aur yaad hai ap hi us din keh rahe they k main duniya ka muqaba kar sakti hon..tu ab kia hua..

M...cuteee tum samjh nahi rahi ho..

Nuuyr stood up from the chair and came sat beside him in the matres..

N..pleasee....

M..and if i refuse...

N...tu main ap ko mana lon gi...

Maynk couldnt help melting down for her innocence..

M..ok..but...i will choose ur job..

N..ok...

she nodded like an innocent child..

Maynk and nuour both went for the interviews and after trying a couple of places they both got jobs within a week

mayank got the job in the soil test laboratary as an assistant and nupur wored as an assistant in a mechnical production factory.
and they got jobs easily bcz they both had admissions in havard..

Now the next day was their first day of university and thier jobs also...

Mayank and nupur both were lieng down on the bed , mayank had turned her face to the oither side while nupur was gazing at the ceiling..

N.,.suniye...

M...hmmm.

N..ap so gaye ho?..

M..nahi...

N..tu idher mei tarf mun kijiye na..

Mayank turned his side...

M..kia hua hai?..

N..mujhe dar lag raha hai..kal pehle din hai, universiy ka bhi aur job ka bhi...ap nervous ho..

N..per main tu pori pori nervous hon

Mayank lauged...

M..oh God nupur..main hon na tumhare sath..

N..haan magr ap ka department alag hai...ap ka civil aur mera mechincal...

M..per university tu ik hi hai na...

N..haan..per..

M...nupur plz,..tension mat lo...bus ye socho k jo mauka hamien mil raha hai wo her kisi ko nahi milta..we both are very lucky...

N..haan wo tu hai..

Mayank strecthed his arm and held her hand..nupur felt that all her blood flowed with double speed..

M..dont worry nupur...main hon na...

He smiled with utmost affection and this made nupur froget all her tensions..she closed her eyes,and both of them slept holding hands...
waiting for the biggest day of their lives...
