Part-2

It is around 10'o clock at night, A night of the engagement of the elder son of Khuranas. Dadi and all the guests are searching for Maan and Geet. Dadi is getting really tensed as guests are started to talk nonsense talk about Geet and Maan.

Dadi: Adi. Hume to kuch samaj me nahi aa raha. Pehle Geet apne kamre me nahi thi aur ab yeh Maan bhi. Pata nahi ho kya jata hai in dono ko. Hume to darr lagta hai ki kahi Maan ne kuch Geet ko gusse me to nahi keh diya. Yeh Maan bhi na.

Adi: Dadi aapne sahi kaha. Maan sir aur uska gussa. Her waqt bechari Geet ko datte hi rehte hai.

Dadi: tum ple Maan ko phone lagao ki woh hai kaha.

Adi: main'main Maan sir ko'aap..aap Pinki ko kahiye na'

Pinki looked at Adi in shock..

Pinki: yeh'yeh aap'.nahi main nahi'agar unhone phir se muje naukri se nikal diya to'nahi baba main nahi karungi'.Dadi aap hi kijiye'aapko who thodi na kuch kahenge'..

Adi: haa dadi Pinki sahi keh rahi hai'.yeh lijiye phone ..

Adi passed the phone to Dadi..Dadi takes the phone looking at the crowd around.Dadi dials his cell number but it is saying the current phone is switched off. Dadi looks towards Adi and Pinki.

Adi: kya hua.Sir ne aapko bhi dant diya kya'

Dadi: ADIII..hamari yaha jaan ja rahi hai aur tumhe mazak suj raha hai'.maan ka phone bandh aa raha hai aur Geet ka bhi'bhagwan kare in dono bacho ke beech sab kuch thik ho'ek bar aaj undono ki sagai ho jaye uske bad jab tak shaadi nahi hoti main in dono ko apni nazro ke samne se durr nahi jane dungi'

Pinki: haa lekin dadi pehle dono aane to chahiye'Geet kaha ho tum'.

After 10 minutes Maan stops his car outside the Khurana House. Maan looks at Geet who is really nervous. He gets out of the car and comes on Geet's side and opens the door for her. She looks at him and then down looking at his hand. She slowly puts her hand on his while coming out. Maan smiles at her and starts to walk towards the main entrance followed by Geet.

Geet: Maan Sir'

Maan just closes his eyes and stops.

Geet: Maan sir who main..

Maan opens his eyes and turns back to face her.

Maan: Geettttttt'

Geet gets scared looking his straight face and shouting at her taking a step behind.

Maan: Geet tum muje irritate karna kab bandh karogi. Kuch hi palo me hamari sagai hone ja rahi hai aur tum abhi bhi muje Maan sir kehke bula rahi ho. Geet ab to mere naam se bulane ki aadat dal do.

Geet: sorry Sir..

Maan: Geeetttttttttttt. Tum na kuch bolo hi mat. Who tumhare kya tha..haa..suniye jee hi better hai'ab andar chale..pehle hi tumhari waje se late ho gaya warna Maan ..

Maan is about to speak further but Geet starts to copy his words..

Geet: haa haa..warna yahi na ki. Maan Singh Khurana kabhi late nahi pahonchta lekin jabse Geet uski zindagi me aayi hai tabse uski zindagi hi bigad di hai 'ek kaam bhi thik se nahi karta'yahi kehna chahte the na.

Maan comes closer to her and holds her from her shoulders and pulls her.

Maan: yeh main tab kehta tha jab main tumse durr bhagna chahta tha lekin aaj ke bad sirf yahi kahunga. ..Maan Singh Khurana kabhi late nahi pahonchta lekin jabse Geet uski zindagi me aayi hai tabse uski zindagi sawar gayi hai..

Geet looks into his eyes'

Geet: sach..

Maan: tumhari kasam. Ab andar chale.

Geet: andar sab sawal karenge ki hum kaha the to aap kya jawab denge.

Maan smiles at her words.

Maan: Geet' aaj tak tumhare liye main duniya se ladta aaya hoon'yaha tak ki tumhare gharwalo se bhi'.to aaj tumhare liye Dadi ke samne bhi lad jaunga'aur isse thodi bahot practice bhi ho jayegi. Kyunki shaadi ke bad to sirf tumhi bachogi jise main ladunga. Kyun sahi kaha na Geet.
Geet looks at him in anger and moves his hands form her shoulders and starts to walk towards the entrance. He holds her hand and she just stops where her steps where on ground. He comes towards her and comes close to her ear and whispers.

Maan: Tumhara woh roop dekhne ke liye bhi main mare ja raha hoon.

People are gossiping about running away of bride and groom when Maan enters the Hall holding Geet's hand. Geet is looking down not able to face Dev again in front of her eyes. Dadi just looks towards them with relaxed look.

Dadi: kaha chale gaye the aap dono. Aapko pata bhi hai ki hum aapke liye kitna pareshan ho rahe the.

Maan: Dadi pehle aap meri baat to sun lijiye ki baat kya huyi thi.

Dev gets scared hearing Maan's words. Dev just looks at Geet and then to Meera.
Dev (to himself): kahi..Kahi Geet ne sabkuch Bro ko bata to nahi diya. Nahi agar bata diya hota to Bro Geet ko wapas thodi na late.

Meera puts her hand on his shoulder getting him out of his thoughts. Dev looks at her maintaining a smile at her.

Dadi: kya sune hum ..batao aisi kaunsi musibat aa padi thi.aur please maan humse yeh mat kahiye ga ki aapko office main kuch kaam tha aur aap isi liye Geet ko apne saath le gaye'

Maan: Dadiii'

Geet holds his hand tighter to make him calm'he just looks at her understanding not to get angry. He just calms himself down.

Maan: main koi office ke kaam se nahi gaya tha. Balke main khud Geet ko dhundhne chala gaya tha.

Geet looks at him in shock as Maan had told everyone at the party that Geet had left him.

Maan: Geet isi liye bahar chali gayi thi kyunki..

Maan looks at geet holding her hand pulling her closer..

Maan: kyunki aaj Geet apne aap ko bahot akela mehsus kar rahi thi'Geet apne parivar ko yaad kar rahi thi apne maa baap ko yaad kar rahi thi..

Geet looks at him with teary eyes.

Geet (to herself): aapke pass meri her musibat ka jawab hota hai. Jab bhi meri nazre sharm se jukne wali hoti hai tab aap kuch aisa kar dete to jiski waje se main phir se jine lagti hoon. Yakeen nahi hota Maan ki aap insaan hai. Mere liye to Babaji ka bheje huye aap unke farishte hai.

Geet comes out of her thoughts as she hears Maan saying further.

Maan: shayad maine hi samajne me bhul kar di.main kaise bhul gaya ki aaj meri khushi me samil hone ke liye meri dadi aur mera bhai hai lekin geet ..Geet to bilkul akeli ho gayi hai. Apni khushi me main uska dard hi bhul gaya.

Dadi looks at Geet and holds her hand in hers.

Dadi: Geet Beta'tumhe mayus hone ki koi zaroorat nahi. Hum aapse in hazaro logo ke samne kehte hai. Hum Maan ki dadi bad me aajse hum pehle aapki dadima. Ab to aapko aisa nahi lagega na ki aap akeli hai. Aaj se aapke parivar me main hoon, Maan hai aur Maan ke chote Bhai Dev.

Geet looks at Dadi with tears flowing from her eyes as she hears Dev's name. She hugs Dadi and starts to cry holding her tight. Dadi consoles her by stroking her back. Everyone's eyes were num looking at Geet but no one could understand what is the real Pain Geet is feeling accept Dev and Meera. Dadi seperates Geet from her and wipes her tears and kisses her forehead.

Dadi: hamari barso se yeh tamanna hai ki hum Maan ke saath hamari bahu ko dekhe jo aaj aap pura kar sakti hai Geet. Aap hamare Maan ki dulhan banenge na.

Geet just looks at Maan and nods her head saying yes.

Dadi: Adi'Maan aur Geet ke liye anguthi lao. ..aaj hamare pote Maan Singh Khurana aur Geet ki sagai hai..

Adi: jee Dadi..

Adi Brings engagement rings for both of them and passes to them. Maan and Geet stands against each other holding rings.

Dadi: Geet'.aaj tak humne hamesha Maan ko pehle izhar karte dekha hai lekin aaj hum chahte hai ki is rasam me aap pehle maan ko anguthi pehnaye. ..chalo Geet Maan aapka intzaar kar rahe hai'

Geet first looks at Dev with disgusting look in her eyes moving towards Maan. Geet looks at Maan with love and trust in her eyes holding his hand in hers making him wear the ring of her love. Maan is feeling so happy seeing first time her taking the first step towards him. Her eyes are num with shyness as Maan is looking at her.

Dadi: Maan ab aap kiska intzaar kar rahe hai. Kahi aisa na ho ki is baar bhi Geet aapka intzaar karti reh jaye ..pehnaiye Maan..

Maan smiles at Dadi while holding her hand pulling her closer. Everyone is surprised to seeing maan being so romantic. Geet is feeling as shy as Maan holds her hand so close to him and puts the ring on her. Geet looks up to see into Maan;s eyes where she sees him coming close . She closed her eyes when she felt Maan's lips on her forehead and his arms around her protecting her from the rest of the world. She hugs him back with all her love for him. Dadi gets tears seeing so much love between Maan and Geet while other were clapping for them. Dev looks at Maan and Geet and left the place followed by Meera.
