Shilpa sat in her bed at 12:00 A.M. unable to catch sleep…

She touched her cheek nth time…she could still feel his touch…

Evry time she closed her eyes to sleep his beautiful face flashed in front of her…

"this is wrong",she wishpered…"ridhima likes him",she told herself…

Her eyes becoming moist…

"its just a crush"…"ill get over it"…she assured herself

Rest of night she spent trying to catch some sleep

The next day:

R;"I heard armaan burnt his hand!",she seemed to be in a bad mood

M:"shilpa must be knowin,she was his partner yesterday,right shlpa?"

R:"OMG!really?"

Shilpa just nodded

R:"HOW did it happen?",

S:"soo stupid, he was holding test tube in his left hand,he tilted it and it fell…his thumb got burnt"

R:"HEY!dont call him stupid"she snapped…"wonder what caught his attention for so long"

The last line caught shilpa's attention…

M;"ya,wonder what or who caught his attention for so long",she eyed shilpa…

Who tried to give a cold stare to muskaan,

R:"what do you mean?",the anger her voice was noticeable

M:"just kidding",muskan gulped…

Shilpa acted like taking some book out of her bags…

"Wohoooooo!!! FREE PERIOD!!!",muskaan screamed…

S:"yeah!!",she hi-fived ridhima…

M:"hey lets go to Caf' coffee day!"

R:"exams so near…we'll go to library and do differentiation sums"

Both looked at shilpa expecting her to decide…

S:"ill prefer caf' anytime anyday"she smiled

"we'll do differentiation in my home Saturday afternoon, what say?",

She looked at their faces,both seemed satisfied now…

M:"cool"

R:"fyn with me"

S:"and ridz try to understand, mr.rahuuuuul was just speaking about going to Caf' ",she winked at her

R:"ohhhhhh,k no wonder you are thaaaat interested to go",she nudged muskaan while grinning…

Caf' coffee day-

Sid-armaan and rahul sitting in one couch…

Sd:"look your shilpa is here!"

A:"where?where?"

Sd:"hahaha gotcha"

A:"not-so-funny",he gave a cold glare

Ra:"hahhaha…your face!"

A:"shut up!"

Sd:"look your shilpa is here!"

A:"f*** off,you think it'll work evrytime?"

Ra:"hey,even muskaan's here man!"

Armaan turned his face to see the trio shilpa-muskaan-ridhima entering the caf'

armaan gave his dimple smile to shilpa,

She smiled at him…and tucked a strand of her hair behind the ears looking down…

"you have no idea how much you effect me shilpa",he thought unable to take his eyes off her…

Ra:hey girls,wanna join us?

Before shilpa and ridhima could say anything….

M:"yeah sure",she said quickly…

Shilpa and ridhima gave each other i-know-whats-in-her-mind look

They grinned…

A:"now whats funny?",it was smling armaan…

S:"na.."

R:"nothing",she cut her in between

Sd:"so take you seats",he gave a friendly smile and gestured them to sit…

Ridhima quickly sat beside armaan …

'why are you feeling sad shilpa,you should be happy for your best freind',she thought

muskaan beside rahul…

And sid and shilpa sat in the opposite chairs…

Shilpa saw ridhima smiling at armaan…

'aaagggghhh…whats so nice here?should have sat In library',she was starting to get frustrated

Sd:"why is everyone so silent?"

Ra:"umm guys…me and muskaan thinking of having a walk",

Muskaan blushed…the gang saw the two leave…

S:"have fun",shilpa said…

Ridhima and shilpa hi-fivd under the table…

They continued chit chatting…ordered pastries and coffee…

Sid got a call from his mom…and stood aside speakin to his mom

Shilpa was feeling unusually frustrated,whenever ridhima spoke to armaan…

She sipping her coffee silently,when she felt a feet brush her leg…

She stopped sipping…and looked at armaan,he had a naughty smile In his face…and was contnuing his conversation with ridhima…

"may be by mistake",she thought…

But she felt his feet brush her feet again and again

S:"Armaaaaaaaan!",she glared

R:"what happened?",she dint seem to be happy to get her conversation disturbed…

A:"yeah shilpa,what happened?",he winked at her…

S:"na….nathing",she replied

Armaan smiled to his fullest…

A:"gals time have to go…nly 10 mins remaining for 2nd period"

A:"bye gals",he waved at them and left the caf" with sid who was still on the phone…

R:"hey im soo happy today…i was sitting right next to him",she was smiling

S:"Lets go,its getting late",she got up but a tissue in front of her caught her eyes…

She picked it up…and saw something scribbled…

It read

She quickly looked at retreating armaan…he gave her a flying kiss…

she looked down,her cheeks radiating red…
