PART 6

PRESENT

Gunjan and Nupur were telling Monaya and Arti the story when suddenly Arti started coughing and they stopped and turned to her. Gunjan quickly gave her some water and asked her

"Kya hua? Monaya , baby are you ok?"

Monaya said "Yesh! Mommy I'm ok.......abhi hum kuch aur kar lete hain naa please"

As monaya said this Gunjan and Nupur glared at her and then glanced at the time, before either of them could speak up Arti said " Maa , Maasi mujhe bhook laggi hai aur shayad Monaya ko bhi........kya hum dinner karke story sunne?"

Gunjan said "Ok! Main dinner laggati hoon......tum log haat - muh dholo"

They all left for their respective rooms.

*At the Dinner table*

Gunjan had kept three plates as she didn't want to eat. Monaya and Arti were literally hogging the food while Gunjan was laughing at their cuteness and Nupur, she was lost somewhere and didn't even touch the food. This did not go unnoticed by Gunjan but she decided to talk it out later when they (Gunur) would be alone.

Monaya and Arti saw that both their mothers were thinking about something and whispered in each others' and ended up deciding that they'll sleep now and listen to the story tomorrow.

They told Gunjan and Nupur that were going to sleep and the story was postponed till the next day.

*Later that night*

Gunjan came inside her room and was walking from one corner to another thinking about asking Nupur what was wrong. So she went to Nupur , kept a hand on her shoulder and asked

"Di kya baat hai? Koi problem hai kya?"

Nupur shrugged and said "Nahi Gunjan........aisi koi baat nahi hai!"

Gunjan said "Nahi di! Tum jhoot bol rahi ho......Kuch toh baat hai! Tum aaj bohot khoyi si lag rahi thi aur purre din khaana bhi nahi khaaya.............Kahin tumne--?

Nupur remained silent as she couldn't lie anymore and Gunjan understood that what she was thinking is right and said

"Kyun? Kyun di? Jab tum Jiju se itna pyar karti ho toh unse dur kyun ho? Tumne Karwa Chaut ka vrat rakha hain hainna?"

Nupur who by now had become very emotional said " Gunjan! Main Mayank se pyar karti hoon par woh mujhse nafrat karta hai.........aur tu! Tu mujhse puch rahi hai! Jabki tune khud bhi Samrat ke liye Vrat rakha hai! Tujhe kya lagta hai? Main andhi hoon? Dekha maine! Aaj purre din tu Kuch nahi khaa rahi thi yeh kehke tujhe bhook nahi hai, ab bol!!"

Nupur turned around and looked at Gunjan who had closed her eyes in pain and Nupur felt guilty so she after sometime said

"Sorry Gunjan! Mainne kcuh zyaada hi boll diya."

Gunjan slowly opened her eyes and said "Di, koi baat nahi acha ab yeh sab chordo aur sojaao! Bohot raat ho chukka hai"

*Next day*

All four (Gunur + Monaya and Arti) of them were sitting on the sofa , When Arti said "Ab hum aage ki kahaani sunne?"

Gunjan and Nupur nodded and started saying.........

*FLASHBACK!!*

*NEW DAY in Excel*

The Morena sisters entered the college with their Uday Bhaiyya. On their way they saw Mayank and a girl with curly hair going inside , followed by Samrat and his "gang" .The three also headed to the class and sat down.

It was Deodhar sir's class and the moment he entered every one became silent and wished him a good morning.

Deodhar started teaching and turned towards the board while Samrat and Benji were whispering something , Gunjan was concentrating , Diya was busy with make-up , Nupur was just yawning and Mayank was writing.

Nupur who was just getting bored lay back in her seat while doing so her book fell down. She lifted it and was about to relax again when she heard someone take her name . It was that girl who had curly hair and she was sitting with Mayank so instantly Nupur leaned back further trying to hear why was she the subject of their conversation.

She heard the girl say " Dude! Yeh Nupurr , yahi naam hainna iska? Naayi haina?"

Mayank replied "Haan! New hai aur bohot clumsy bhi!"

Nupur thought to herself "main isse clumsy lagti hoon!! Abhi battati hoon" and stood up and turned towards Mayank and said

" BY GOD!! Tumne mujhe clumsy kaha? Clumsy main nahi tum ho.......dekho apne baalon ko". She touched his hair.

While Mayank too said standing up "Baalon ko mat chuoo! Samjhi........aur main jo bhi kahon......tumko kya problem hai?"

Everyone was startled by their sudden argument but they continued bickering unaware of the fact that deodhar sir was glaring at them and he was angry and also irritated so he just screamed

"STOP IT! Just stop it the two of you! Mayank Sharma I didn't expect this kind of behaviour. Both of you will stay here for detention , also I'm giving you a project on British impact on Indian Television for which you both will have to submit a book report by day after tomorrow". With that he walked out of the class leaving Mayank and Nupur annoyed.

*In the corridor*

Samrat was walking , rotating the Basket Ball on his index finger and saying hi to every other girl. Suddenly he saw Gunjan sitting in a corner and studying dedicatedly . He hid behind the pillar and kept staring at her when Benji patted his shoulder and said "Dude watsup?"

Samrat smirked and said "chal Benji!! Kuch Masti ho jayye"

Samrat and Benji started playing Basket Ball near the corner where Gunjan was studying and Samrat dribbled the ball very hard trying to get her attention and also disturb her. While Gunjan was trying to concentrate . At last she gave up and got up to leave. On the other hand Samrat and Benji walked the other way, when the ball slipped from Samrat's hand and Samrat told benji to walk .

Gunjan was walking with her books when suddenly

BANG!!!

All the books she was carrying fell down and the papers were inside it were flying all around. Gunjan quickly bent down and started picking up when the ball she was hit with came rolling to her and she stopped it and was surprised to see an other hand stopping it and she looked up to get lost in Samrat's wonderful eyes.

Samrat on the other hand was also lost in her eyes and a smile appeared on his face as their eyes met.

Gunjan came to her senses and started picking up the books while Samrat also said "Ek baat bataao tum problems ko dhundti ho yaa problems tumko?" , Gunjan didn't look up so Samrat just started helping her by picking her books up.

They both picked up the same book and their hands touched giving both of then shivers. Gunjan instantly pulled her hand back and Samrat said " Oh! Freeze!! Sorry main tumhe chunaa nahi chata tha matlab chu sakta hoon par--" He stopped as Gunjan was glaring at him.

She picked up everything and left to find her di!

*In the classroom*

Nupur and Mayank were sitting silently.

Mayank was engrossed in reading while Nupur was engrossed in him. She thought "Mainne use jhagda iss liye kiya kyunki usne mujhe clumsy kaha yaa iss liye kyunki usne meri burrai kissi ladki se ki?"

Her thoughts were interrupted when Mayank said " aise aankhein phaard phaard ke kya dekh rahi ho haan? Saari galti toh tumhaari hi thi!"

Nupur said irritated " Meri!! BY GOD! Burrai tum meri karo aur phir ye kaho ke galti bhi meri thi? Galti meri nahi tumhari thi"

They started bickering again when Nupur just pulled Mayank's collar in anger but she didn't do anything as she got completely lost in his eyes while he too for a moment got lost in her Bardi- Bardi ankhein !

Suddenly they heard Gunjan's voice and broke apart only to find her walking inside and she said "Di........college timings khatam hogayye hain aur ab hummein chalna chahiye".

They both left for home with Uday.

*Next day*

In the class everyone was excited and happy as it was Miss Aha's class. All the boys except Samrat and Mayank were totally fida over her.

Miss Aha entered , everybody wished her good morning and then she said "Aaj hum class main ek activity karenge.........aap sab aapne naam likhke iss bowl main daal dije!"

And so one by one all of them put their chits in the bowl and waited for Miss Aha to continue.

Miss Aha then said " Now the this row will take a chit each and open their chits when told"
