The day was an important one for her ... she was joining as a professor in Xavier's University .... she tied her hair and opened the curtains to let the rays of sun enter the room but instead of the rays; drops of rain touched her smooth skin .... she was bemused .... the day had started on a sour note .....
She freshened up and wore a sky blue chiffon sari, dozen bangles in her right hand and a silver watch graced her left hand .... her hair left open .... she had her breakfast and at sharp 8:00 AM, left her flat with a white transparent umbrella in her hand .... it was still raining .....

After having a cold shower, he moved out towards his wardrobe while drying his hair ... water dripping from his hair and wetting his torso .... he pulled out a sky blue shirt and a black suite .... he had to grace a seminar that day ... he slightly peeped out of the curtains and was upset to see the weather, it was raining heavily ....
He collected all of his files and kept them in his briefcase and prepared a burnt breakfast for himself ... he was trying to improve his cooking skills ... he picked up his briefcase and walked out of his bungalow towards his BMW ....
***She was partially wet when she entered the university, she closed her umbrella and moved inside ... some of the students were loitering in the corridor ... she walked towards them and asked a girl the direction for the principal's office ... the girl escorted her to her destination. She took a deep breath and walked inside .....
Mr. Saxena - Welcome Ms. Bhushan, how are we this this morning?
Nupur - Though a bumpy beginning but hopes are high for a wonderful day ahead, thank you ...
Mr. Saxena - Good, because I have something important for you ....

He was sitting at the back seat and staring at the ferocious drizzling that was happening since morning ... he called his assistant cum manager ....
Samrat - Good morning sir ...
Mayank - Morning, Samrat do I have anything important in my hands for the day?
Samrat - Sir, just the seminar, rest of the day is quite void for you today ...
Mayank - Well enough, I won't be coming to the office ...
Samrat (interrupting) - But why sir?
Mayank (arrogantly) - Because I don't wish to ... if anything important comes up, give me a call ...
Samrat - Right sir ... I'll just have a final check of the preparations, it starts at 11:00 AM ...

Due to the the sudden "announcement" of her name, she missed the basket and furiously turned towards the sound only to gasp seeing the principal himself ....
Gunjan (stammering) - Yes sir ...
Mr. Saxena - Meet your new Literature professor, Ms. Bhushan ....
Gunjan - Good morning ma'am, welcome to Xavier's ...
Nupur - Thank you ....
Mr. Saxena - And because you bunked the afternoon schedule yesterday, your punishment is to assist her with her work ....
Gunjan - What? Sir, we had a practice for the tournament ... please sir, it won't be repeated again ...
Mr. Saxena (to Gunjan) - Once you get a punishment, you would surely not repeat it, trust me and now help ma'am with the seminar preparations .... am I clear?
Gunjan - Yes sir ....
