Once'..Alpana's father is a bit sick'.and so she decides to visit him in Shimla'Rudhir was not able to leave his work'.so she had gone alone!!!

Alpana: Hey Papa'.(and she hugs him) Aap bimaar kaise pad gaye haan?? Apna khyal bhi nahi rakh sakte??

MS: Arre achha hi hua na'.agar bimaar nahi padta to tu yaha thodi ati'.

Alpana: Ahh'wat a joke!! But let me tell you'.that was not funny at all.

MS: Waise Rudhir'.

Alpana: (cutting him) Wo nahi aya''usse leave nahi mili'.(she says this making a face)

MS: I knw'.uska phn aya tha'personally maafi mangi mujhse'.and kaha'.he'll join soon'.

Alpana: (lights up) He said'he'll cum up here??

MS: Haan kyun?? Tujhe koi problem hai?

Alpana: No'.mujhe problem kyun hogi?? Wo bas'.usne mujhse aisa kuch nahi kaha tha'.thats it!! Anyways'.papa'.main na jaake fresh ho jati hu'.aur aap bhi apne room me jaiye'.remember u ARE sick!!

Its been four days'.since Alpana is in Shimla'.and she had talked to Rudhir twice'.first when he had called to knw if she reached safely'.second when she had called'.just for the sake of calling!!!

She was now having dinner wid her father'.but she seemed least interested'..she was playing wid the items'.taking them all a bit'.and mixing up'.and donno wat she was planning to do actually!!

MS: Umm'.Alpu'are u alryt beta??

Alpana: Huh'.yeah am absolutely f9 Papa'.aapne aisa kyun puchha??

MS: Nahi bas'.tu zara khoyi khoyi lag rahi hai'.

Alpana: (thinks to herself) Main aur khoyi khoyi??? Kabhi nahi'..(to MS) Nahi Papa'.aisi koi baat nahi hai'.bas khane ka mood nahi hai'.thats it.

MS: Hmm'.achha tu na kal jaa kar'.Rudhir k mom-dad se mil lena'.tu yahi hai'.so u shud go there!! In fact ate hi chale jana chahiye tha'.

Alpana: Ahh'don't worry'.maine baat kii hai unse'.they knw apki tabiyat thik nahi hai'isiliye main itne din nahi gayi'.and maine unhe ye bi bataya main kal jaungi'.u don't worry!!

She however finishes the food and leaves for bed.

Am I behaving weirdly?? Not really'.I mean why wud I behave wierdly?? I'm perfectly alryt'..yes'..am f9'..absolutely f9!! Mujhe kya hona hai''main to apne ghar me hu'.and I am happy in fact'.I love it here'.always!! Bekaar me'.DHIR ke bare me sochke pareshan ho rahi hu'.he can manage things well'he has done it before also'.main to bas kuch din se sab kuch dekh rahi hu'..of course he can manage it all'.he has always done that!!

She lies down on the empty large bed'..clutching her pillow closely to herself'..She closes her eyes to see HIS smiling face in front of her eyes'..and she quickly shots them open'.She just shakes her head'.and shifts side'..but feels the vacant space beside her'.This tym she tightly closes her eyes'.and shifts her side again!! In fact all night she keeps changing sides'.hardly being able to get sum sleep'..and this was the case since four nights!!!

In Delhi'..Rudhir gets back home'and it was empty. It was not like he didn't like empty homes or wasn't used to it'.he had lived alone for years''but these four days'.had been exceptionally irritating!! He was irritating himself'.with the slightest things'..he wud get angry abt the smallest issues'.and then wud find none but himself to pour his anger on!! Again there was none whose smile cud calm him down''whose one glimpse cud relax him!! In short'..he was irritated!!!

Uff'.everything is getting messy'.pata nahi kya ho raha hai'.aur kyun ho raha hai?? I always manage things alone'.hamesha se ye sab karta aya hu'.then why do these things seem so irritating to me?? Alpu ne hi adat bigar dii meri'.gosh!! Main kyun itna chid raha hu'..aur usne bas kuch din madat kii meri'.and also she'll back in 3 days'..mujhe bas teen din sab kuch manage karna hai'.of course I can do it'.I surely can!!

Rudhir finishes his dinner sumhow'.all alone'.keeps the things in place'.and then lies down on the bed''all alone!!! He still has that irritated look on his face'.along wid that he has been making faces'..he keeps adjusting the AC temperature'.for no use actually!! He keeps staring at things'..and sumhow gets himself to sleep'..He has been doing this only'.since last four nights!!

Its Alpana's 5^th day in Shimla'.and she's gone to her in-laws' house'.

Mom: Aao beta'.tumhara hi intezaar kar rahi thi'.

Alpana: (touches feet) Sorry Mom'.wo Papa ke saath'

Mom: Arre tum sorry kyun keh rahi ho'.Sharma ji (Alpana's father) ki tabiyat thik nahi hai'.ye to hum bhi jante hai'.in fact tum to isiliye ayi ho na'.

Dad: Haan bilkul'.waise'..Rudhir kyun nahi aya??

Alpana: Usse kuch zaruri kaam tha Dad'..but he said'.he'll join soon!!

Mom: Achha chalo'.baatein to hoti rahengi...bahu ko thoda araam karne do'..aaj sara din yahi ho na beti??

Alpana: Haan bilkul''

Alpana spends the whole day wid her in-laws'..of course she called her father in intervals to make sure he was doing gud. It was true that Alpana was a lil nervous before coming here'.she literally didn't spend much tym wid them'.that too without Rudhir'.nor was she the one to mingle very easily'..yet she had a gr8 time'.and it was lovely to spend the time wid them!!

When she had cum to knw she wud be living separately wid Rudhir'..it had cum as a relief to her'..becoz being away'..she and Rudhir cud easily live as per the deal goes'.and that wud not hurt any1 as well'. But today suddenly she wished she didn't hav to stay aloof from every1 in Delhi''..she realized she cud hav a sweet family other than the emptiness back there in Delhi'.where she didn't wish to get back home much before Rudhir'..as she wud be all alone!!

Mom: Arre beta'.kahan kho gayi tum?

Alpana: Kahin nahi Mom'..main to bas'.

Mom: Tu usse ek phn kar le na'..

Alpana: Nahi'.mujhe usse koi phn nahi karni hai'.

Mom: To main sahi thi'.tu gussa hai usse'.kyunki wo tere saath aa nahi paya'hai na?

Alpana was unprepared for the question'.she didn't knw wat to say'..she suddenly realizes''she had spontaneously interpreted 'Usse''.as 'Rudhir' only'.and the way she was pouting just a few seconds back''that was STRANGE!! However she came out of her thoughts'.to ans her mom-in-law!!

Alpana: Wo'.aisi baat nahi hai Mom'.main bas'aise hi'.Ahh'.mom'.aap mujhe Rudhir ki tasveerein dikhane wali thi na'..abhi dikha dijiye na?? (she was trying to avoid the situation)

Mom: (smiles knwing well she was 'shy') Haan'chalo!!

Now Rudhir's mom'.start showing her the photos of Rudhir's childhood'..she comes across his baby pics'.and was overwhelmed to find that his smile had the charm since he was a child'..and his eyes used to sparkle'since back then!! An enchanted smile crept on her lips'.and she felt delighted!! She took a photo in her hands'.

And she was staring at the pic'..wid a certain glow on her face.

Alpana: Mom'.ye main apne saath le jau'pls??

Mom: Haan beta'.zarur le jao'.

At night Alpana'returns to her father's home'..she had her dinner at with her in-laws only'.so she just checked her father'.who was lying on the bed'..She didn't disturb him'.as he needed rest. Alpana just went towards her room'..and she just took off her bangles and bindi'.that she had put on along wid her saree'..at that point she just wanted to look like a gud daughter-in-law'.despite knwing that it didn't matter!!

However'..being a lil tired'.she lies down on the bed'.and closes her eyes'.She remembers the sweet moments wid her mother-in-law'.when they were talking abt Rudhir'.she had told'.how adamant he has been since childhood'.and Alpana cud very well remember his words'.when she was ill'"I don't like arguments"'.and again'.she remembered his childhood photos'and a sweet smile was immediately formed on her lips'.

"Tum bhi centre pe soti ho kya?"

Alpana opens her eyes wid a jerk'.to find Rudhir'.standing right there'wid a smile on his face!! She joins her eye-brows'.wid a frown on her face'..and turns to the opposite direction'murmuring "To ab tum bolne bhi lage ho"'.

"Arre'.hatto na'..mujhe sona hai'.am very tired!!"

Being shocked to hear HIM again''Alpana quickly sat up straight on the bed''to find him still there with a cute confused smile on his face!! She was just staring at him blankly''but then he waved his hands in front of her'..and she blinked her eyes to assure herself'..he was for real'.

Alpana: Tum yaha?? Kaise?? (she cud hardly manage the questions)

Rudhir: Kaise matlab?? Flight se Shimla aya hu'..and door se iss ghar me aya hu!! Any confusion abt that?? Tum mujhe aise kyun dekh rahi ho?? (he narrows his eyes a bit)

Alpana: Nothing'..I was of course not expecting u at this hour'..aur phir Papa ne to tumhare ane ke bare me kuch nahi bataya tha?

Rudhir: Arre'.main kuch der pehle hi aya hu'..aur mere ane ke baad uncle ne tumse baat kii hi nahi hai''anyways'.I am sleepy!! (and he is abt to get on the bed)

Alpana: Hey stop!!

Rudhir: Kya hua??

Alpana: Tumne dinner nahi kiya hoga na?? (he doesn't ans that and so she knws he didn't) To phir chalo'.pehle kuch khaa lo'.phir so jana!!

Rudhir: Nahi'.mood nahi hai''I'm too idle for that!!

Alpana: Bahanebazi bilkul nahi chalegi'..c'mon now!! (and she holds his arms taking him to the dining table) Baitho'..main tumhare liye khana le ati hu'..

Rudhir: Pls Alpu'.tumhe iss waqt takleef uthane ki kya zarurat hai??

Alpana: Wud u shut up?? (she shunned him authoritatively)

After a while'..Rudhir was having the meal'..while Alpana was just sitting beside him!!

Rudhir: Tumne khaa liya hai??

Alpana: Haan'..main Mom-Dad ke yaha se aa rahi hu'..

Rudhir: Ohh'.Mom to badi khush ho gayi hogi'.tumhe dekh kar'..waise bhi tumhe bahut like karti hai wo'..

Alpana: Really??

Rudhir: Hmm'.or why do u think I agreed to marry u? (he says this quite casually but suddenly Alpana is in thoughts)

Of course Dh'.Rudhir'..U married me becoz of her'..becoz of ur family'..even I did that''I knw it well'..I knw it all very well'..

Yu soch me dubi hui'..achhi lagti ho Alpana!! In fact'..saree tum par bahut jachti hai'..lekin aankhon ke niche ye dark circles'..they say sumthing Alpu'..why do I feel'.U MISSED ME !!!

And Rudhir has a small smile on his face'..and just then Alpana notices it.

Alpana: Tum muskura kyun rahe ho?? Anything funny??

Rudhir: Nah'.nothing!! However I'm done'.thanks!! (and they both get up'..but Alpana trips on her saree'..and just in time Rudhir holds her by the arms'..and steadies her) Saree sambhalti nahi hai to pehna kyun??

Alpana: Maine kaha na'.aaj tumhare ghar gayi thi'..

Rudhir: Ohh'.to mere mom-dad ko impress kar rahi thi haan??

Alpana: Not really'.u see'.they r already very much impressed'.main bas apna impression kayam rakh rahi thi'.(and they both grin to this'..while Rudhir moves ahead)

Saree pehenke girne wali thi'wo dikha'.lekin maine saree pehni wo nahi dikha?? Taarif to dur ki baat hai'..u didn't even acknowledge that Dhir'.huh!! Stupid kahin ka!!

And tonight'..they r again sleeping beside each other'..and so they r sleeping well'..coz unknown to themselves they now needed the assurity in heart that the other was right there'..beside him/her'..He/She was not Far'..but very Near!!

After two days'..they were to return to Delhi''Rudhir was w8ing at the doorstep'..while Alpana was still inside. Both Rudhir and Mr. Sharma (Alpana's father) were checking the watch in intervals wondering wat takes the ladies so tym to cum out!!

However after a while of w8ing'.they cant do that anymore and call her loudly!!

Rudhir/MS: (together) Alpu!!! (and just after that they both look at each other'..in utter surprise)

Mr. Sharma was smiling to realize Rudhir called Alpana 'Alpu''..just like him!! Well every father wants his daughter to be taken care of'..the same way as he had done till so many years'..and though MS always knew Rudhir wud always take care of his 'Alpu''.it was nice to knw'..Rudhir didn't just took care of his 'Alpu'''he had made her his own'..'Alpu'!!

Here Alpana cums out being a lil irritated.

Alpana: Kya hua?? Why r u guys shouting??

MS: Arre beta'.tu itna der kyun laga rahi thi?? Rudhir kabse w8 kar raha hai'..chalo niklo tum dono'.flight ka waqt ho raha hai'..

Alpana: Aap bhi ajeeb ho papa'..Apni beti ko ghar se nikaalne ke liye hamesha ready!! (MS just smiles at that) Achha ab meri baat dhyan se suniye'.aap apna pura khyal rakhne wale hai'..koi laparwai bardasht nahi karungi main'.samjhe aap?? Dawai ki ek bhi dose miss hui na''to khair nahi aapki'.

MS: Okay baba'.I promise I'll take care'..ab jaa bhi'.warna sach me flight miss karegi'..

Nodding her head'.Alpana moves ahead to stand near Rudhir'..and then she turns around wid a smile on her face'..and after seeing that smile and glow'.MS knew'.how happy she was!!

Rudhir and Alpana hav just entered the home'.

Rudhir: Alpana'

Alpana: (turns around) Hmm'.

Rudhir: Wo'.actually mujhe pata nahi tha'.Papa tumhe 'Alpu' kehke bulate hai'.in fact main bhi'.actually I just want to clarify'..I was not making fun of anything'..main tumhe chida nahi raha tha'..I don't knw'.maine kyun 'Alpu' bulaya'.(and he looks confused)

Alpana: (also getting confused) Wat?? Wat r u saying Rudhir? I mean'.tum kya clarify kar rahe ho?? Tumne mujhe 'Alpu' bulaya'.iss baat ki clarification de rahe ho??

Rudhir: Ahh'actually tumhe laga hoga'maine tumhare father ko imitate kiya'.

Alpana: Kaisi behki behki baatein kar rahe ho Rudhir'..aur wo bhi ab?? I mean'.itne mahino baad tum clarify kar rahe ho?? Well'.to be honest'..jab sagai ki shaym ko tumne mujhe 'Alpu' kaha'..tab mujhe laga tha ki tum papa ki nakal kar rahe ho'..but phir dhire dhire realize kiya'..u say it naturally!!

Rudhir: I hav said it before?? (he looked surprised)

Alpana: Oh yes'.You say it naturally'..and subconsciously!!

Rudhir: Ohhh'I hope tumhe bura nahi laga ho'.u see'.tumhare Papa itne pyar se bulate hai tumhe'.iss naam se'.aur main pata nahi kahan se'.

Alpana: One sec!!! Tum mujhe 'nafrat se' Alpu bulate ho?? (she pretends to be shocked) And I never realized that??

Rudhir: Shut up!!

Alpana: U shut up ok? Pata nahi kya kya sochte rehte ho'..C'mon Rudhir'..Itna haq to hai na tumhe?

Rudhir doesn't answer this question'.he just looks deep into her eyes'.and feels happy inside'.to knw dat'.he had a 'right' ON HER!! Here Alpana just stares bak into his eyes'.donno wat they held in them'.that every time Alpana looked into those captivating eyes'.she wud be enchanted and completely lost!! It was when he cared to drop his eyes'..she cud cum out of her trance!!

Now she turns around to leave'.when he speaks up'.

Rudhir: Thanks!! Mujhe samajhne ke liye'.

Alpana: (smiles) Hum dost hai na'..shayad isiliye samajh gayi'.(and she leaves while he stands there being confused)

Dost?? Hmm'..of course'we are FRIENDS!!

Here Alpana enters the bedroom to find it all messed up'..at first she was shocked'..and then she noticed the coffee jar right there'.and it was almost empty'..She was stunned to realize Rudhir had finished almost one packet of coffee'..in just 4 days!!

Alpana: Rudhir!!!

Rudhir: (cums in) Kya hua??

Alpana: Tum pura coffee pee gaye inn chaar dino me?? Are u mad??

Rudhir: (gulps hard at first and then continues to speak) Arre'.aisi baat nahi hai'..wo actually'.mujhe Shimla ana tha to thoda zyada kaam kar raha tha'.and I needed sum coffee to stay awake'.thats it!!

Alpana: Ye bilkul 'that's it' wali baat nahi hai samjhe?? Don't u knw this is not very much gud for health!! U knw wat'.from now on'.u r going to hav limited coffee'..aur tum itna zyada kaise peete ho'.wo main dekhungi'huh!! (and she storms out of the room'.wid the tray in hand which had the coffee powder, mug and all)

Rudhir: (to himself) Oops'.ate hi naraz kar diya kya?

Now Rudhir gets bak to Alpana'in the kitchen'.she was keeping everything in the shelves and was locking them!!

Rudhir: Arre kya kar rahi ho??

Alpana: Dikhta nahi hai kya?? Chaar din ghar pe nahi thi to tumne manmaani shuru kar di? Aisa koi karta hai kya?

Rudhir: No'.sirf main karta hu'(he chuckles but stops the next moment as she shots him a look) Achha baba'.sorry'.tum jaa kar change to kar lo'.abhi just kadam rakha hai tumne ghar me'.aur ate hi ye sab!!

Alpana: Yeah'.ate hi ye sab karna par raha hai'.tumhare liye!! Tum kitne careless ho Rudhir'..pehle to aisa nahi tha'.I mean u were not this much messed up'..kitne achhese sab kuch manage karke rakha tha'.I was impressed!!

Rudhir: (raises an eye-brow) U were wat??

Alpana: Baat mat ghumao'.in fact baat mat karo mujhse'.maine kaha tha tumse apna khyal rakhna'.aise khyal rakha tumne??

Rudhir: Arre main bore ho raha tha na'..to bas kaam kar raha tha'..aur saath me coffee to compliment ke taur pe aa jata hai'.

Alpana: Wow boredom mitane ka badhiya tarika hai'..

Rudhir: Ab tum nahi thi'.to aur kya karta?? Bekaar me hi gussa kar rahi ho'..

Saying this he leaves the kitchen wid a pout'.being unable to persuade her!! But here his words were ringing in Alpana's ears'' "tum nahi thi"'''.!!!

So u missed me!!

And the very thought brings a smile to her lips'..

Hey everyone.....finally am here wid an update....well I knw am very late....which is very unusual of me...😆...but was stuck up wid many things....just yesterday finished off my skool UN-officially!! 😆 And that brings me to the edge of XAMS!!! 🤢😆 I hav a month-long xam cuming up....so hopefully this shall be the last UD from me.....till December I guess....😳😆

Cant really help u....if ur Achhi Bacchi doesnt seem very Achhi while speaking these words....😳😆....but anyways....I hope u liked the part....thought I feel there hasnt been much.....other than that fact that Rudhir-Alpana realized a bit of each others' feelings....instead of their own!! 😆😆

However 16th ke occasion ke baad 27th ko UD karna was a pleasure for me....😆....as its almost 12 here.....I am taking the opportunity of wishing myself at first....A Very Happy Birthday to ME!! 😆😆

And yeah....this part goes for my DEAR and Oldest (Not in age😆) Frnd.....tasnimnashin (NASHIN) 😳⭐️
