Read all 14 chapters in a go n its wonderful. I lyke the element of suspense. What I really lyke is how possessive Maan and Geet can be of each other. They both unconsciously assume that the other one is theirs in a cute and lovely way. Plz add me to ur pm list! =)

It's midnight

Geet walking alone on the road, feeling like just collapsing there and sobbing. The job had been so precious to her. True, she had had to face a lot from the office vamps, but she had made some friends. Most importantly it was paying for her rent. Despite all Maan Singh Khurana and taken her into his office. And now he was just kicking her out like that.

Wiping her tears she shivered as a gust of cold wind blew across her face. Wrapping her dupatta more tightly around herself, she was surprised to see a Mercedes draw up in front of her.

'Get in.'

'But'

'I said Get. In.'

Muttering the choiciest curses she knew, she slid into the car next to Maan Singh Khurana.

'Driver....woh dusre galli mein right le lena...'

'You know where I live?" she asked, shocked.

"Employee files," he said carelessly.

Which he had had the entire office into a tizzy searching for Geet's file for the past two hours while she had been wandering the city thinking he didn't care two hoots about her.

He did care two hours though.

"Sir..," she said, smirking, "I realise that..."

"I'm not giving you your job back," he said firmly, his eyes fixed on the mirror...so that he could pretend not to look at her and look at her at the same time.

"To phir?" she asked, frowning.

"I am offering you a job in my friend's company."

"Waah waah..you can't stand me in your own office..so you're dumping me in your friends..."

He covered her mouth with his hand. "Now just listen," he said, his eyes focusing on hers intently. "I am trying to be nice. You broke my office rules, and yet I am giving you another job."

"You're dumping me," she said childishly.

"I am not your boyfriend!" he shouted exasperatedly. She hoped that the darkness of the night was hiding her flaming cheeks.

"Friends?" she said hopefully.

He gave her a glare, and she scrunched up her nose. What attitude! She should have known rich people make friends only with the fellow rich people.

"Okay, fine I accept it."

"Why..you didn't want to."

"But now I do," she said, sticking her nose up in the air, a determined look on her face.

"Fine...there comes your house," he said.

She got out with more airs and graces than some socialites Maan had unfortunately encountered in the parties he went to.

And you will be taking Sameera to in a couple of days.

Meanwhile, Geet was craftily hatching a plan in her mind.

Oh Mr. Khurana, I'm going to do my new job so well, that new secretary of yours will be left fumbling for words.
