Part 1

When Anjali looked over to the clock she noticed it was 8:00am.

Anjali: oh god…..ath bajgaye……(calls out to riddhima) ridzy, jaldi karo late horaha hai. It's already eight and we have to reach there by 8:30.

R: bas do minute di, abhi arahi hoon (comes out of the bathroom) chale?

Anjali: ek minute……mujhe tujhse kuch baat karni hai.

R: (looks at anjali and gets the feeling of wat is coming at her) Di, agar yeh baat armaan se juri hai, toh plz don't even bother, I don't want to listen to it. (turns to leave but is stopped by Anjie)

Anjali: akhir kab tak tum in baato ko ignore karti rahogi?

R: jab tak karsakti hoon tab tak.

Anjali: aur who tab tak bas kuch der tak rahega…..jab tak tum armaan k saamne nahin jaati…..joh tum thodi der baad jaogi hi…..tab kya karogi? I mean how are you going to endure him if you cannot even bother to talk about him?

R: who sab ap mujhpe chor do.

Anjali: nahin ridzy, I want an answer rite now….akhir kya karogi tum? Use ignore karti rahogi? Agar ignore hi karna that oh tum yahan aye hi kyun? London mein hi internship karleti.

R: di, ap aur mein yeh ache se jaante hai ki mein yahan kyun aye hoon……ap ko pata hai na…….agar papa insist nahin karte toh mein bilkul is jagah pe nahin ati jahan mujhe itni takleef pochi hai.

Anjali: ridzy why are you still living in the past? Why can't you give armaan a chance to clarify all the misunderstandings? Tumlog dono apni relationship ko ek moka nahin desakte kya?

R: kis relationship ki baat kar rahi ho di? Who joh kabhi thi hi nahi? Ya jise armaan ne kabhie ssly liya hi nahin? Us relationship ki baat kar rahi hai ap? Aur jahan tak armaan ko apni safai mein kuch kehne ka chance dene ki baat hai to hap hi batao aur kya bolega who? 3 saal pehle usne joh sachai apne mu se boli thi………who meine hi nahin balke apne bhi suni thi…….usse aage aur kya bolega who?

Anjali: ridzy……mein teri baat maanti hoon k usne joh kaha usse tere dil ko bohot takleef hui hai……….lekin tere jaane k baad, usne mujhe joh un bato ki wajah batai, agar tu usse sunti toh tujhe bhi realize hota k who aisa kyun kar raha tha.

R: oh come on di……kis sachai ki baat kar rahi hai aap…..sari sachai meri aankhon ke saamne thi.

Anjali: nahin ridzy……..woh sachai nahin thi…….agar dekhne jao toh tune abhi tak sachai suni hi nahin hai……tu…(interrupted by padma)

Padma: (enters the room) kaun si sachai ki baat chal rahi hai dono mein?

Anjali: are mumma…….aap? good morning.

R: good morning ma.

Padma: good morning riddhima beta….good morning anjali beta….kya batein horahi thi?

Anjali: mumma who……(sees riddhima giving her a stern look as if she's forbidding her to tell) who mumma……who kuch nahi…..

Padma: (confused) kuch nahin?

R: who ma…..hum toh bas aj k din ki baatein kar rahe the (looks at anjali to get back up)

Anjali: haan…….woh actually ridzy nervous horahi thin a…….so I was just telling her not to be nervous.

Padma: bas itni si baat? Riddhima beta……..isme nervous hone ki kaun si baat hai? Anjali hai na tumhare saath…don't be nervous…..ab chalo nashta karlo……meine aj aloo k parathe banaye hai.

R: aloo k paratha……..wow my favorite dish……

Padma: I noe……ab chalo.

Anjali: hmmm…..mumma…….aj toh mein nashta nahin kar paogi….woh actually aj naye interns arahe hai na……(looks at riddhima) toh unke liye kuch khaas tayari karni hai.

Padma: mujhe pata tha k tu yeh hi kahegi…….tu aur tere papa ek jaise hai……always work comes first for u……theek hai tu jaa…..riddhima nashta karke ayegi.

Anjali: acha theek hai par late nahin hona…..be on time…..(riddhima nodds) chalo am going to go bye….(leaves)

Padma: ab chalo…..hum dono maa beti mil k naashta karte hai (riddhima nodds; they go for breakfast).

Meanwhile….in Sanjeevani…Armaan is sitting in his cabin and is recalling all his past memories which he had spent with riddhima. He remembers one of the incidents when he had scared riddhima to the extent that she didn't want to talk to him.

-FLASHBACK-

This is when riddhima was 18 yrs old and at this time armaan was 20 and were in medical college. Riddhima was working in the lab room after class. Lab room was one of the rooms in college which was famous wid all types of rumours. More of them were about how sometimes randomly lights went off and on in dat room and how chemicals got spilled by themselves and how strange noises would occur. But, riddhima believed none of these rumours. She would consider all of these nothing else but flaws. Now, riddhima was recording her observations of the chemical she had just tested. She opened her folder and looked for something to write wid, but, didn't find anything.

R: shucks…..i forgot to bring a pen. Ab mein apne observations kaise record karoongi????

At this armaan walked in the room and saw riddhima going and checking all the drawers but didn't know wat she was looking for. Since riddhima had not yet seen him…..armaan decided to play a prank on her and make her believe on all the rumours to be true. Armaan quietly went over to the lights and switched them off…….which made the room go pitch dark and left ridz a bit struck by fear.

R: (stands up and turns around) oh no…light ko kya hua? Ab mein kya karoo? Kuch dikhaye bhi nahin deraha, ab mein lights k paas kaise jao….try karti hoon.

Riddhima is close enough to the light switches, armaan senses this and backs up but doesn't realize it and trips over a chair with things on it making a big noise.

R: kaun…kaun hai waha?

Armaan crawls to a near counter and hides behind it. Riddhima manages to open the lights. She sees the fallen chair…..she sets it up again…..meanwhile, armaan is glad dat ridz hasn't caught him.

A: phew….bach gaya…..ab kya karoo? IDEA!

Armaan goes to the chemical wash room where the sink is……he stuffs the mouth of the sink with few clothes and opens the sink. Meanwhile…ridz has found something to write with…she begins writing…..some minutes pass and she hears the sound of water.

R: yeh paani ghirne ki awaaz? (ridz turns around and sees a pool of water coming towards her) yeh…..yeh kya hua? Yeh paani? (goes in towards the water and into the chemical wash room) yeh nal kisne khola? (goes in and the lights start switching on and off) oh god…..yeh ho kya raha hai? (armaan makes a noise which startles riddhima) yeh awaaz? Yeh sab kya horaha hai???? (riddhima goes to the door to get out but armaan pulls the rope that he had tied to the door which closes the door) yeh darwaza kaise band hogaya? (shouts out) koi hai?? Plz darwaza kholo!!!

Riddhima is slamming the door wildly, now…..she is super scarred with the water, lights being switched on and off and the noises….all of a sudden, it all stops and now its all silent……ridz turns away from the door and looks around but doesn't find anything…..suddenly…..she feels a tap on her shoulder…..slowly she turns around and suddenly armaan jumps in scaring her. By seeing ridz look on her face……armaan starts laughing. Riddhima comes back to her sense and sees that its no one else but armaan.

R: TUM!!!???

A: (laughing lyk crazy) kyun miss. Riddhima gupta……tum toh kisi cheez se darti nahin ho na?

R: armaan yeh sab tumne kiya hai?

A: haan! Yeh sab meine kiya hai……who kiya hai na I wanted to see k tume kitni der dare bina reh sakti ho……(controlling his laugh)

R: ha ha very funny…….mujhe tumse baat nahin karni….(leaves)

A: basket….(goes and hugs her from the back)naraz ho?

R: armaan mujhe tumse koi baat nahin karni (releases herself)

A: basket…….come on na…..am sorry and I promise…..i won't do it again…

R: baat nahin karo mujhse….

A: arey baba…..sorry na……acha ab kaan bhi pakar lia ab toh maaf karo.

R: promise you won't do it again?

A: promise….(hugs her)

R: I love you.

A: I love you too.

-FLASHBACK ENDS-

Armaan has a huge smile on his face but shortly is disturbed by the knock on the door…its anjali.

Anjali: (opens the door) can I come in Dr. Armaan?

A: anjie….aao na.

Anjali: good morning.

A: good morning (sees a file in her hands) yeh tumhare haath mein kya hai?

Anjali: (sits on the chair) yeh naye interns ki file hai. Yeh lo check karlo (hands the file over to armaan)

A: (begins checking the file; pg #1) muskaan chaddha…..punjab….21 yrs old…..somewat punctual……blood phobia???

Anjali: I know isn't it weird? Doctor banna hai……but scared of blood?

A: we'll have to be careful on this one……(starts reading more details)

Anjali: ya I know…..we'll go easy for the first few days……and then kuch karna parega.

A: hmmm……agree (turns the page) rahul gerawal…..yeh bhi Punjab se…..kahin dono husband wife toh nahin?????

Anjali: husband wife toh nahin…….but there seems to be a connection between the two.

A: tumhe kaise pata?

Anjali: last week ki hi baat hai……dono yahan kisi kaam se aye the…..they started to fight lyk crazy…….aisa lag raha tha that they knew each other for so long…..i tell you itna larte hai na………unhe dekhe mujhe tumhari aur ridz (armaan goes serious; anjali notices it) sorry….

A: it's okay…..isme tumhari koi galati nahin hai……(turns the pg) Atul Joshi.

Anjali: I feel bad for him……bechara……..do saal internship poori waste mein gayi……..

A: anjali be positive……..and wat waste……tum toh aise keh rahi ho……jaise use do saal aur internship karni paregi………don't worry ek saal kit oh baat hai…….aur joh kuch bhi hua usme uski kya galati……haalat hi aise hogaye the……which forbidded him from becoming a senior doctor.

Anjali: yah I know…….and the best thing was that papa ne uski situation k liye ek exception dediya…….aur usse do saal internship repeat karne ki jagah sirf ek saal repeat karni hai………

A: hmm……ek saal ki hi baat hai….and then he's gonna be with us.

Armaan turns the page of the file once again and now he faces DR. RIDDHIMA GUPTA'S profile page. Now, he is lost and is in a deep thought while he's looking at the picture.

Anjali: yah I know sirf ek saal na……..i hope jaldi guzar jaye and then he'll be wid us……phir hum teeno senior doctors honge……you, me and atul….wat say? (doesn't get an answer; looks at armaan)

When anjali looks at armaan, she finds him lost looking at the page. Anjali looks down at the page to see riddhima gupta written on it.

Anjali: you still love her na?

A: (comes out of the trance) hmm? (anjali repeats her question) choro na anjie wats the point of talking abt it?

Anjali: tum bhi? Come on guys; tumlogo ko hua kya hai? Yahan tum is bare mein baat nahin karna chahte aur wahan ghar pe ridzy bhi mere questions ko ignore karti rehti hai.

A: matlab, tumne phir basket se is bare mein baat?.....anjie meine mana kiya tha na?

Anjali: I know armaan ke tumne mana kiya tha…….but mein kya karoo, tumhari taraf ridzy ka joh rukha pan hai….woh mujhse nahin dekha jaata…….armaan she's living with a misunderstanding……which we have to clear……warna who bewaja tumse nafrat karti rahegi. Armaan…….tum usse sab sachai kyun nahin bata dete? Kyun nahin bata dete ke tumne joh kuch bhi kiya tha, uske liye aur uski khushi liye kiya tha?

A: kya faida Anjie? 3 saal pehle bhi toh humne use batane ki koshish kit hi par usne sunna gawara nahin samja.

Anjali: I know armaan……but jab who gusse mein thi……meri baat suno toh plz usse wapas batane ki koshish karo.

A: koi faida nahin hai…….usne jab meri koi baat nahin suni toh ab toh no hope. Aur in my opinion…..usse kuch nahin bataye toh who hi acha hai……kyunki jahan tak mein basket ko jaanta hoon…..sachai jaane ke baad who apne aap se utni nafrat karna shuru kardegi…..jitni aj tak mujhse nahin kari hogi. Aur mein nahin chahta ke basket apne ap se nafrat kare.

Anjali: sach mein ridzy really doesn't know what she is doing. Tum uski khushi ke liye itna kuch kar rahe ho and she is…….acting lyk a stubborn kid…….kaash ridzy ne tumhari baat sunli hoti……toh aj tumlog yu alag alag na hote…..

A: leave it na anjie…….joh hogaya so hogaya…….poorani baate yaad karne se kya faida……lets just start afresh……(remembers) omg…..mujhe ek case pe kaam karna tha aur dekh teri baton mein…….(gets to work)

Anjali: (looking at armaan; thinks to herself) mujhe pata hai armaan…..aj bhi tum ridzy se bohot pyaar karte ho aur ridzy bhi tumse bohot pyaar karti hai…….par uski misunderstanding k saamne tumhara pyaar hot eve bhi tum chupane ki koshish kar rahe ho. Pata nahin mujhe kyun is story ka yeh end nahin lag raha……yeh end ho hi nahin sakta……..there's gonna be a change……infact…….Destiny's About to Change.
