Armaan heard the footsteps; he knew Shilpa was there. His heart had slowly and steadily forgotten Riddhima and Shilpa had surely made a place for herself in his heart. She had a great effect on him; whenever he thought that he can't get over Riddhima and would remember their old days; bam; Shilpa would come and capture him. She would literally hypnotize Armaan. Due to shilpa's and siddhant's efforts; Armaan had come to terms and accepted that Riddhima was no longer his basket. She was siddhant's wife; his life. He had started to fall for Shilpa and he knew it was love. He was scared like Riddhima to give love another chance; but had very well decided that he will confess what he feels for her; and tell her about his past. Just then the locker door opens; Shilpa enters in. Armaan who was sitting facing his back to her on the bench; turns around to see Shilpa wearing a beautiful dress. He couldn't take his eyes off. He politely smiles at her and walks up to his locker. Shilpa was talking on the phone and didn't quiet notice the passion of love Armaan had for her. She faced him and returned his smile. Awkwardness was brewing between the two. No one was ready to break the ice. Shilpa tells him that I want to tell you something and he answers saying that even he has to tell her something. He tells her that lets go to the fire escape. She nods and follows him.

Meanwhile both siddhant and Riddhima reach shilpu's house. They enter the house to see it fully decorated; there was a happy birthday sticker hanged on the adjacent wall. Yes it was riddhima's birthday. And siddhant and Shilpa both decided to give her a surprise. And hence she was told by him to not go to hospital today. The whole house was neatly done; then she remembered that that day when siddhant returned home late; he was here. Arranging everything for my birthday. Tears well up in her eyes; she hugs him tightly and both fall down on a couch. Riddhima was so passionately kissing Sid; he responded and they stay there just like that.

Here in the fire escape; Armaan made Shilpa sit next to him. He very gently took her hand in his; faced her and tells her that Shilpa I have to confess to you something. He says Shilpa "I love you". She hugged him tightly and he released her. He says that before you say that I love you to me too; you have to know that I have a past. A past which made me not believe in love again. She was too shocked to learn that he had lost his love and many things had started to clear out. His wired behavior sometimes; his anger; his way of hiding unshed tears. Everything for that matter. She looked up to meet his eyes; she gestures her to go ahead. He tells her that I don't know what will happen to our relation after you knowing the past; but I can't start a relation on a lie. He says that I was in love with Riddhima. As soon as Riddhima leaves his lips; Shilpa gets up in shock. He knew that he would have told her everything before. He makes her sit down. He tells her their story; right from their first meeting at the basket ball court till the last one in panchgani. How she had come there; crazily searching for him. He had seen siddhant with her. Shilpa was in tears listening to all this. He tells her that it was his mistake to leave Riddhima and go. It was a wrong decision; and fate separated us. When I came back to claim my love; I understood that she was married. I lost all hopes of living life. And then you entered my life. You again spread colors of joy in my life. I knew that day itself that my basket was dead. I had lost her for ever. I was only living as you seemed to start to affect me. I don't know whether I am worthy of a second chance like Riddhima; but I am sure that you will understand me. I don't know when I fell in love with you. I know to love me is not easy; and to handle me all together more difficult. She clasps his hands and tells him that why were you so scared to let your feelings out before this. He didn't have any answer. He hugged onto her tightly. He felt relived after telling her everything. He lay there in her arms; finding peace and calmness after months.

Riddhima was still in his embrace when a phone call irritates them. She bangs the phone on the ground and keeps on romancing until someone steps at their door.

Knock! Knock!
