Part 15

14 days have passed almost and it's time for all interns to appear for exam tomorrow. This was the notice that was put in sanjeevani and everyone is making the most of the free time to prepare for the exam. Siddhant and shilpa are always studying together as they were the new best buddies in the hospital. Riddhima was sure that if both sit and study together they will keep on chatting but she trusted both of them enough. She knew they will study and make her proud after the results were out. Their exam was tomorrow and all the interns were much tensed and their faces were clearly showing signs of tension, anxiety and off course hope. The hope of becoming a great doctor in future; and also making a name in the field of medical. Tomorrow was the day that would decide their fate. All leave the campus in tension and are discussing with each other how they will revise the entire syllabus in one night. Shilpa is waiting for her sister and jeejaji as they were dropping her home. Riddhima had told shilpa that she should come to her place for the night so both of them can study and at once shilpa agrees the offer. The trios drive home with constant gossiping of shilpa and riddhima. Siddhant was observing the sister bond grow stronger and stronger. He was happy to see his best friend happy and also the talk gave his heart peace to see riddhima all caring for him and shilpa. The sister bond reminded him of suvarna. The name of her itself made his eyes moist and thinking that he will surely call her tonight he drives them home. Riddhima use to always call sue and enquire about her and he would always forget. She used to always complain about siddhant not remembering his sister and riddhima would always defend siddhant. That's why she sometimes used to be angry on riddhma also. She adored and loved riddhma more than siddhant now as she thinks riddhima is responsible for what siddhant is today. She lovingly calls her Mrs. Houston.

Three of them reach home. Riddhima immediately goes to the kitchen and prepares dinner while both of them go to their respective rooms and freshen up. Riddhima goes to their room to call siddhant for dinner. Siddhant who is all wet as he had just stepped out of the bathroom was just in a towel. Ridhhima goes and takes out his clothes; places it on the bed and says that dinner is ready and you hurry up and come down. Just when she is about to leave he stops her and wraps his hands around her and plants a small kiss on her nape. She enjoys these moments of intimacy with siddhant which always assured her that she was blessed to have a husband like siddhant and she felt proud!! She twirls back and brushes her lips against him and runs out of the door making him lose his opportunity and admiring her.

After the dinner is over riddhima gives shilpa and siddhant some notes she had prepared for them. The entire syllabus was condensed in just 10 pages. It was the notes from which she studied. While she is clearing the table and cleaning the kitchen she orders shilpa and siddhant that they better go and study the notes. She feels happy seeing them discussing and helping each other with their doubts and queries. She comes and sits down next to siddhant and shilpa. She was sitting in between them. She orders that it is quiet late now and let's sleep. Shilpa hugs and kisses her sister good night and retreats to her bedroom. As siddhant plans to leave she grasps his hand makes him sit down next to him. She calls his parents and sue picks the phone and is happy to know that it was her bhabhi calling. Riddhima immediately says that talk to your brother. Siddhant was just shocked as too how she knew he wanted to call sue. The siblings chitchat and riddhma is admiring siddhant. Siddhant also speaks to his parents when his mother says that I want to talk to riddhima. She tells riddhima that she has to get up early as it is karwa chauth tomorrow and hope the parcel has reached in time. Riddhima nods and says that she will do everything according to the rituals as this was her first. Riddhima was really lucky to have a family like them. She was proud. The couple walk back to their bedroom and doze off as they both were super tired today.

It's 4.30 in the morning and the alarm starts to buzz. Riddhima at once wakes up as she had only set it and made sure that siddhant does not wake up so early. She thought that it was his important day and he should get proper sleep. She gets up from the bed and tip toes to the cupboard and takes out her weeding dress which she was going to wear today.

She takes a bath and dresses herself up and decides after having the food before the sun rises she will go to the temple to pray. To pray that she wants only and only siddhant as her husband for the next 6 lives and also pray that both of them should score brilliant marks. After done with the meal she goes to the temple and prays for the well being of her and siddhant's parents and also wishes that this year shilpa as well as sue should get married. That they should get understanding and loving husband as she got. After the rituals she heads home. She rushes to their room to find siddhant all ready and studying. He gets up and says that even he will fast for her today; she convinces him that he has to appear for an exam that too his final and you need energy don't fast. But he is adamant. He makes her sit on the bed; takes her hand in his and entwines his fingers with her and very calmly tells her that with you beside me I have nothing to fear. Nothing. I will manage and surely make you proud. She has tears in her eyes which he wipes away and plants a small kiss on the forehead. She ties a thread around his wrist which she has got from the temple for him and also one for shilpa. She tells him that please quickly put sindoor as I have very little time; go and wake up shilpa. He does all that and says that I love you riddhima. She gives him a tight hug and says I love you too.

Meanwhile shilpa has also got up early and was studying. Riddhima tells her that go get ready as we will leave for hospital early. She hugs her di and says good morning; you wait for me downstairs I shall be ready asap. Saying this she is about to rush when riddhima stops her. She ties the thread she tied on siddhant's wrist and says now you take a bath.

Shilpa comes down to the dining table and says that even she will fast so even she will be blessed to get a husband like siddhant. Riddhima says that if you eat sweet curd which signifies that what you are going to do; you will be successful. Both have a spoon of curd and on the way visit a temple on behest of riddima, take blessings and reach hospital.

The three reach the exam hall and after saying all the best; both enter the hall. Riddhima is waiting outside in tension. It was an online exam and the result would be declared by the evening. After some time they come out and tell riddhima it was a fantastic exam. She is happy to know that. The Modis with shilpa head to the Gupta's house where riddhima's mother had kept a puja on occasion of karwa chauth. Riddhima prays to god that siddhant and shilpa both should get good marks. She also prays that she should be blessed again to have a caring, loving, understanding, matured and the best husband; the only and only siddhant modi. Her sid!!!!!!!

Guys this was a longer part as I promised you. You all must be missing armaan a lot but in the next parts I promise he will play a significant role…..
