I finally finished this chapter....😆 i know i took so long to update... so sorry my friends... it's all cz of uni ... too much of work... cnt even think of a break... 😔 well that's life na..😆

well nwayz i would like to thank every1 who liked the previous chapter.. and thanks for the lovely comments...i loved it...🤗and this time.. i did reply to some posts.....😃

Chapter 17

Maan felt really good in the morning as he woke up.. cz in the night he was feeling really lonely, and he missed his geet a lot.. if she was there, they would have had a fight which they did everyday without a reason, and it would always end in a bad way like geet ignoring him, or him ignoring geet or both of them end up laughing.. but none of that happened as geet had left him.. he wanted her back really soon.. and he wanted to tell her how he felt.. he knew that everything would change in the future, and he was ready for the new change'cz he knew that from the day he met geet ,his life would change.. and it did.. he was a different man now, he learnt how to smile, he knew how to make new friends.. he started liking colors all cz of geet.. but this was not the change he knew that would happen.. There was also the fact that his own brother cheating on his wife, stealing their family money.. etc. geet will have to live with him, while knowing the whole truth, he was actually not sure if she would agree to do it' but for some reason he knew that she loved him.. it was her eyes that told him everything' and he was somehow going to bring geet home'''.

Geet on the other hand was still not in a good mood' she couldn't even sleep properly, and when ever she tried to.. she would always remember maan's face.. how was she going to live without him? she thought' just then pinky entered her room' and she saw that pinky was all ready to go to office' office' to the place where maan worked' she still worked there too' but was it a good idea to go there after what happened last nite?.. Thought geet' she left him.. she left that house cz she knew that she didn't want to be there.. but when she really thought about office and maan she wanted to go there' ' pinky.. I wnt be going to work.. but I'll just come with u.. I think I'll go to the mall or something near the office' I need to do some shopping..' and geet went to get ready.. Thinking that she would at least get glimpse of maan if she went there'

pinky just nodded her head' and ran out to call maan sir and tell him what geet has decided to do today' cz early in the morning he had called her to ask how geet was doing' and to check what her plans were..

maan was really upset.. first he thought of meeting geet at pinky's house, but nope' geet was planning to go the mall, and she was not going to be at work' how was she staying away from him? It was really hard for him.. And he thought it would be the same for her, but nope.. she was going to shop.. and that too all alone.. and the mall was right next to his own building' maybe he could go to the mall and meet her' that would be a great idea thought maan' and just then maan got a call from adi, it was about a business deal which was postponed cz of maan's marriage.. and now his client was ready to come and sigh the deal, cz he was already in delhi.. and for a sec he thought of canceling the meeting.. and when he said that to adi.. he said this deal was really important.. that canceling it would not be good for the company.. so maan finally agreed to it' but deep down he was really disappointed cz, he was going to miss the chance of seeing geet'

Geet was standing outside KC' she was wondering weather to go in or not.. pinky already went it.. Saying that if she got late.. maan would kill her' well geet is the only one who knows how really maan was, he was a short tempered person, he screams at some one for the slightest mistake.. maybe that's why she fell in love with him' even though he looks scary.. He's not.. he's the most nicest man she'd ever met.. but then he didn't trust her' the person who said he could read her eyes, couldn't actually believe her' how did this happen..? Thought geet' this was not the time to meet him' she thought of going back to pinky's house.. she wasn't interested in going to the mall' but then she heard some say her name'' geet handa??' but it was like the person was unsure about who it was.. and when she did turn back' she couldn't believe it.. ' yash?!' he just smiled.. it was him' and she walked towards him.. and he towards her.. and when she was about ask him, what he was doing here' he pulled her into a bear hug, and said.. ' wow geet' it's so good to see you after a long time'' geet couldn't even speak, cz he was almost squashing her' he was always like this thought geet' ' oye yash' will you let go yaar' I cnt even breath'' he just chuckled and let go of her.. ' oh god geet' u always hated my hugs na.. it's k.. some one will like it someday' he winked at her' geet was so glad to see him' it was after ages.. Yashraj Raichand was geet's childhood friend' even though yash was older than her.. they used to play together back at the village' but then'when he was about sixteen.. he left, to America. and never came back till now.. ' yash' what are you doing here?' ' why my little chubby geet' dnt u like it?' oh god' geet actually forgot her pet name.. it was chubby or sometimes chubz.. cz when she was small.. she was really fat' and yash used to call her chubz' which was really annoying'then she said.. ' oh god yash' stop calling me that' m not chubby anymore k?' and she playfully hit his arm' and just then she heard some clearing his voice' and from the presence she knew who it was' and when she turned back., it was maan standing right behind them.. with a look that made her drool.. cz he looked really good' but she was confused cz he looked delighted to see her but he had this pissed off look as well.. and she thought she knew the reason'

Maan'got down from his vehicle.. he was about to enter the office, but he saw some one like geet.. she was here' she did come to the office' Thought maan happily, just then he saw another man there.. and both of them hugging' that cnt be geet' thought maan.. she wouldn't hug strangers, and geet didn't know any1 in Delhi.. or maybe that wasn't geet' maybe he was imagining the whole thing.. but how could he.. he would recognize his geet wherever she was' so he slowly walked towards them, then he smelled her perfume, he knew it cz it was given by him.. he waited for awhile and cleared his throat.. as in to excuse himself.. so they would turn' and it did work.. geet turned towards him.. he was so happy to see her, she looked so beautiful.. and he just wanted her in his arms'he wanted to touch her soft skin.. to tell her how much he loved her, but then he remembered the stranger who was standing next to geet.. who was this man? Just then he heard geet say his name.. he voice was like music in his ears' but this was not the right time for anything thought maan' ' geet'.' Said maan in a stern voice' and he looked at the man.. who actually looked confused.. he kept looking at him and geet' ' just then geet said.. 'yash' this is my husband maan singh khurana'' and she smiled' and maan saw her eyes twinkle.. as if she was proud to say that he was her husband.. and he felt really good about it' just then yash said.. ' maan singh khurana' it's a pleasure to meet you..' maan had to shake hands with him.. as he was been really friendly.. then he turned to geet' ' so chubz.. u got married huh? You couldn't even wait for me could you?' he smiled..

chubz?? Why was he calling geet chubz? Thought maan.. what was going on here..? but before he could say anything, geet said.. 'yash stop joking around'god u haven't changed a bit'' she giggled but stopped it when she saw maan's look.. yash was smiling the whole time, maan didn't like it all'just then yash said to maan ' well Mr. Khurana' I have to say again, that it's a pleasure meeting you.. and I have been waiting for this contract to happen' and just imagine the person I'm going to work with is my best oldest friend geet's husband'' maan was relieved'. So this man was geet's friend.. but what contract was he talking abt? ' contract?' was all maan could say' ' yes. I'm Mr. Raichand' I was suppose to meet u here' but for my luck.. I met geet.. and now that we'll be working together' I get to spend more time with geet'' he smiled at geet'.

Oh this was not a good idea at all thought maan.. him spending more time with geet.. what was he going to do?. he had to stop this deal right now.. but he remembered what adi said'so this contract was really important too' ok.. maybe he'll work with yash.. but he was some how going to keep him away from his geet'
