by the way maan what happened to you why are you worried at the sight of her … not that geet does not know anything about you … geet knows your deepest secrets too … about your past … so geet will not have any problem …

Maan notes down the room no & goes to the reception to enquire about the patient in the room no. 701 ... while maan was waiting at the reception … maan was lost in thoughts … not sure whether he saw her or that was some one else …

{ ok need to tell you all some calculations as it is necessary before we proceed … well right now pari is 4 years & 10 months … & geet was married to maan when she was 2 months & 1 week preg* so geet delivered pari when she just entered the 9 month …

so that it makes 4 years 10 months(pari's age) + 9 months (pari in geet's tummy) ….

So geet came to know she was preg* for first time 5 years & 7 months ago … & say appx. 4 weeks before that maan & geet's first meeting happened …

so assuming that since maan & geet first met in the mela … the total time that was passed is 5 years & 8 months …

so now I hope you all got why I am explaining the time gap … well if you have not got it never mind will explain later on …}

Maan listens to the entire conversation … now … all his previous questions have been answered … but now he has new questions in his mind … he is walking away from the reception …

Maan to himself – "sameera is suffering from cancer …. Breast cancer since 7 years …. What does this means … she came to know that she has breast cancer when we were going around in canada …. That's why her behaviour changed all of a sudden … after coming to know that she has cancer … is this the reason why she left me … or did she cheat me for real … what should I do …. Geet gives some space for him … so that he can lay down next to her … maan hugs geet … adjust himself next to her … lays down next to her … both hugging each other … maan hugs her too tight … hiding himself in her chest … geet is caressing his back … more like a mother … because she understood … that there is something serious that is bothering maan…

maan hugs her like that very rarely … only when he is disturbed & becomes too emotional or when he feels he is helpless … maan singh khurana & helpless you all must be thinking how can that be … well maan was not like this before … he is not any more the same maan who kept himself away from all the emotions …

Being married to geet & having his family with her … the threat that some thing might ruin his geet's happiness his children's happiness makes him feel emotionally weak or say more helpless … sometimes …

geet remembering the time when maan hugged her the same way … when he felt helpless … when he felt that his family's happiness might be affected … one such incident is when pari fell ill seriously …

when pari was around 3 years old & she was suffering from high fever … that time pari could not even open her eyes because of her health condition … pari was crying a lot because of weekness as she did not want to eat anything … he could not see pari like that … talkative pari lying on the bed with her eyes closed & weak … that day she asked maan 1 question which bought tears to his eyes …

pari – paapa … main kab teek ho jaungi … main tho dawayi bhi le lahin hun … phir bhi babaji mujhe teek kyun nahin kal lahen hain …

maan was almost on the verge of tears … but controlled his tears in front of pari & answered her …

maan – pari beta … tum apni papa ki pari ho naa …

pari – yes papa …

maan – tumhare paapa … tumhare saath hain pari beta hamesha … tum yeh baath … janthi ho na …

pari – yes papa …

maan – phir … tum jaldi hi teek hojayengae … aur mamma bhi babaji se pray kar rahin hain tumhare liye … ab so jayiye …

and after answering her & making her sleep … goes and hugs geet … just the same way like I mentioned above …

he was taking care of pari day and night … he rarely used to sleep in the nights & never used to leave pari's bed side … maan did not allow anyone to take care of her … not even geet … if pari had a speedy recovery it was because of maan …

geet knows how much he loves pari & can't stay without seeing her & talking to her … that's why maan makes it a point to even go to her school during lunch hours when ever possible so that he can meet his pari … like the way he hates to see tears in geet's eyes … it's the same with pari … & any day if pari cries then that day … he makes sure that he makes pari laugh so much that she forgets why she was crying …

Maan slept in her arms till late in the afternoon … he then woke up … geet again feeds prem … maan is talking to geet & prem … & is also asking why pari has not yet come … geet tells him once pari is back home dadima will bring her over here …

Pari laughs … she likes to irritate her mamma by teaming up with her dad …

Pari is laughing & jumping on maan … she is laughing like any thing …

Maan – pari … apni chote bhai ko nahin dekhenge …

Pari open her eyes more wide – bhai …

maan takes pari near geet & prem … dadima is already seated next to geet … prem is sleeping … pari wants to touch the baby but gets scared … geet gently makes her touch prem … but makes sure that …. Prem does not wake up …

It's almost 7 days now that geet delivered prem … geet is back home … but she still notices that maan is still the same … the same worried look on his face ... but when he is around his kids … all his worries dissappear … geet cannot take it any longer & she decides to confront him today after he comes from office …

pari is studying in geet & maan's room … geet is with prem making him sleep & watching pari study & teaching her … maan enters their room … loosening his tie … as soon as maan enters the room … pari runs towards him … leaving everything what she was doing earlier … maan lifts her up & carries her in his arms … & sits on the bed along with pari …

maan – pari beta … aaj din bhar kya kiya …

pari – aaj school main … bahut mazaa kiya papa …

maan – acha … kya kiya pari ne …

pari laughs …. Maan loves the way she laughs …

Pari again laughs … geet gives both of them a stern look & signals with her hand … to be silent otherwise she will spank both of them … pari now goes near maan's ears …

Maan – pari … ko jhula jhulna hain …

Pari nods her head ….

Maan – aja meri little angel … abhi jhula jhulathae hain …

maan is laying down & pari is now laying on maan's legs … with her head on maan's knees … & laying her self along his knee to ankle length … & now maan is lifting his legs in air & bringing them down … pari is again laughing … geet doing her ishara … to keep the volume down …

father daughter play like this for some more time …

Geet – pari … bahut masti ho gayi aaj ke liye … ab jao …neeche … dadima ke paas … dadima ne tumhe neeche bulaya hain … tumhare dinner ka time ho gaya hain …

Maan – haan pari beta … agar khana nahin khayenge tho … khelne ke liye energy kahan se aayega …

Nakul comes & takes pari with him …. Maan now lays down on the bed & is silent … geet places prem carefully on the bed … pats him a bit … & is looking at maan … maan closed his eyes … but she can see that he is stressed out … geet goes & locks the door …. Geet now comes & sits next to maan … places her hand on his head … maan opens his eyes …

Geet – maan baath kya hain ….

Maan – kaun si baath geet …

Geet – main aap se wohi poonch rahin hun … aapki pareshani ki wajah …

Maan – kuch nahin geet …

Maan gets up instantly … as soon as he hears geet's words …

Maan & geet go to the hospital … maan enquires from the reception if sameera is still there in Room # 701 …. They inform him that she is been shifted to ICU …. As her condition has become more critical ….

Geet tells maan that … she will take prem to his check up & maan can meet sameera & she will come over there after prem's check up is finished ….

Maan was reluctant to go alone … but geet convinces him to go alone … maan now is walking towards ICU … & geet is walking in the opposite way with prem …

maan is outside ICU … sameera's parents are also outside …they both are crying on each other's shoulder … maan is now in front of them … they recognise maan & are quite shocked to see him over there … in front of them …

Mr.khanna – maan … tum … maan hi ho na ….

Mr.khanna – tum yahan pe … kissise milne aaye ho kya …

sameera's parents cry even more …

maan enters ICU … sameera was looking even more worse today … than what she looked like the other day … her condition almost … gave maan shudders …. He can't believe his eyes that it was sameera who is lying on the bed in that state … sameera too recognises maan … but as soon as she sees maan …she turns to another side … (over here we all need to assume something that sameera's voice is very weak … & very soft … and barely we can hear it … with pause while she is talking … )

over there prem's check up is finished …. Geet is walking towards ICU … and asking for directions … but the hospital staff inform her that she can't take the baby inside over there … geet quickly calls maan … telling him that she can't come in … maan informs the same to sameera …

sameera insists that she still want to meet geet & to inform geet that they can meet in the hospital garden & they will be coming to meet geet…

sameera rings the bell for service … Nurse1 comes for her assistance … sameera requests for a wheel chair … but the nurse protests that she can't go out in this condition as it might be fatal …. Sameera informs her that she does not care about it … finally the nurse helps sameera to get onto a wheel chair & accompanies them to meet geet in the hospital garden … as soon as they enter the garden …

Sameera – oh … it's been so long …. that I breathed fresh air … feels so good out here …

geet is already waiting for them …. Maan goes and stands next to geet … maan was about to introduce geet to sameera … but sameera signals him that no need to introduce … as they both kind of know each other …

Sameera – glad to meet you geet …

Geet – same here …. Sameera …

Sameera – may I have ….. a look at your son … please …

Geet – sure …

Geet was about to hand over prem to sameera … but …

Sameera – no geet … please ………. don't bring ………. prem near me … he is hardly few days old baby … I will look at him from far …

she leaves even before maan & geet could answer anything … geet & maan reach home … & were thinking about how they misunderstood her … maan too narrates geet the entire story … & she just gave him the impression that she cheated him … so that maan misunderstands her …. where as she never cheated him off anything … & what little she took from him on purpose … she actually donated it to cancer ward on khurana's name ….

Next day Mr.khanna calls maan & informs him that sameera passed away in the night …. Maan informs geet about sameera's death … geet & maan both feel bad for sameera & attend her funeral …
