Stupid idiot cant even make a RIGHT decision for herself…Ugghh Mayank cut the crap,she's still young and working on her decision making skills,u just cant blame her like this,but even then how in the world can a sane person work with a woman llike Sheena Malhotra.I just hope Sheena is playing the game fairly.Mayank thought,a few hours ,after his encounter with Nupur.It was not difficult for him to get all the information related to her.Mayank was thinking about the whole incidence again and again on his way back home.He knew he wont be able to keep himself away from this matter,not even if he tried hard to do so.What should I do now,how in the world should I knock this in her mind that she is going the wrong way,working with Sheena will gain her nothing even if she keeps working for her for the rest of her lifetime.

Sitting at the window pane of her flat Nupur was trying to absorb the day's incident with her eyes closed.God why why why did I saw him?Why we have to even meet again?But he looked so good,looks like he has got what he wanted and HERE!!! look at me : studies not yet completed but are on a halt and I am still struggling for my goals and aims.Nupur sighed and thought I guess his decision was right enough.

M:Is it done Adhiraj?Mayank said handling the phone between his ear and shoulder and working on a file with the other hand.

A:Ya Mayank almost done.Its decided for Wednesday.

M:Can't it be tomorrow?Mayank said frowning.

A:For heavens sake Mayank!!! Even Wednesday isnt that suitable but I did this just because you ordered.How can u expect someone to arrange that within a day's notice??Adhiraj said truly pissed and irritated.He himself was confused over Mayank's behaviour.

M:Okay okay fine.Wednesdays just fine.

A:What's up Mayank?You never rush things like this.Is everything alright?Adhiraj asked out of curiosity.

M:Yes Adhiraj everything's just fine.Il talk to u later.Bye.Mayank said ignoring all the questions.

Next day all Nupur heard was "a big party","future contracts" and "success".Confused she went to Suhaani and asked her to clear her mind about all the random blabberings going around.Suhaani was the only person Nupur liked and felt close to,in the entire office.

S:You don't know yet??Suhaani looked at Nupur shocked while Nupur looked back with a blank expression.There is this big company,they have arranged a huge party and have invited all the companies and their staff with whom they have either worked in the past or still working or are looking forward to work with.Everyone is so excited,not only about this company but also the contacts we can build in this party.Its a lifetime chance.Suhaani said dreamily.

N:OMG!!!A lifetime chance!There would be so many people there.Nupur said out of excitement jumping a little to control her emotions.I have to prove myself.I have to build contacts.Okay I am taking a leave for today,I have to prepare myself.Suhaani please text me in all the details about the venue and timings.Bye.Nupur said hurriedly and left not giving Suhaani a chance to respond to her excitement.

BY GOD Nupur this is it!You have to build new contacts here to get a new job.Yes you will have to either by hook or by crook.She thought to herself and with a new confidence went home and start rummaging through her dresses and accessories.Typical Nupur.

Mayank you have to stay away from HER,its not that difficult avoid and ignore is the best option.You know you cant control yourself around her so just stay away from her or you will end up regretting again.Remember you still cant get into this again.Revising this mantra again and again Mayank prepared himself for tommorow's party that he was throwing for much obvious reasons now.

Nupur was wearing a white churidaar with silver embroidery on it,she was wearing kajal in her eyes and her hair were open giving her a moderate yet classy look.She applied pink gloss to her lips and was wearing silver earrings studded with white stones.She was looking beautiful and appalling,innocent yet confident.She was left stunned when she entered the collosal hall.It was huge and Nupur wasn't able to see its far end.On seeing the people around she became a bit conscious as almost everyone was wearing western clothes but she came fully prepared to face all this.She was completely confident and knew something like this will happen.She lifted her chin and started moving towards the center of the hall.Mayank was eyeing Nupur from a distance,on seeing her coming towards the hall centre Mayank turned his back towards her and eyed one of his employers.Mayank was wearing a black suit with white shirt without any tie and was looking handsome as ever.Nupur was trying to grasp the environment when someone called for her.She turned and saw a group of people looking expectantly at her.

M:Hello!I am Mark.One of them said said trying to initiate a conversation.

N:Hello!I am Nupur.She said hesitantly.

M:Nice to meet you.He said forwarding his hand.

N:Nupur looked at his hand and then took it slowly.Same here!Mayank frowned seeing them shaking hands and was constantly keeping an eye on Nupur.

M:What do you work?

N:I work in a fashion house.Nupur said happy over the fact that her mission is going somewhere.

M:Really that's great!I own a fashion house in NY.These are my colleagues.He said and introduced them to Nupur.Soon they started talking about their work.Mayank mingled with the guests after he was well satisfied that Nupur is doing fine with the delegates.

S:Hey Mark!She said and hugged him while Nupur was left stunned.

M:Hey Sheena good to see you here.

S:Sheena is the best.You will definitely find her someplace like this.She said bragging.

M:Oh why I am not surprised.

S:Nupur!U here?She said and eyed her in a way asking her to why she was dressed like that.

N:Hello M-a-m!Nupur said hesitantly thinking Sheena wont be much trouble.

M:You know Miss Nupur?

S:Ofcourse!She works for me.She is my secretary and handles all the work.Nupur looked at her pointedly on that.She was not just a work handler.She was an intern and practicing designing.

M:Oh!What about our plans on this fall collection?

S:Sure Mark!Definitely.We will work on it.Nupur was left disheartened by this and moved aside when Sheena told her she wanted to talk to her.

S:Nupur what are you doing here dressed up like this?She said pissed off.

N:Dressing does matter Mam but that includes style not the length of the dress.She said taking off her irritation.

S:SHUT UP!Mark is such a great client for us.What do you expect him to think of our fashion house after meeting you.She said bitterly.Nupur's eyes were glistening.Before Sheena gets all the more bitter she left from there controlling her tears.

Nupur was trying to move fast out of the hall when suddenly Mayank caught her by the waist and pulled her along with him to the dance floor.Nupur was left shocked,surprised and stunned to see him.What the hell is he doing she thought staring at him.No before that what in the world is he doing here.The lights got dim and Nupur clutched Mayank's shirt.Mayank looked at her and tightened his grip on her waist protectively.Random instrumental music was being played in the background while Mayank and Nupur were drowned in each other's eyes.STAY AWAY!!STAY AWAY!!You were to stay away from her,why cant u keep your hands off her, dam* Sheena Mayank's mind said while his heart said NO NO NO !!! She is beautiful,you just CANNOT stay away from her no matter how much you distance her from yourself.Her eyes are making you go mad,the kajal mixed with the tears.GOD she is BEAUTIFUL!Mayank moved her hands around his neck and pulled her closer to him.While Nupur gasped and kept looking into his eyes.Why is he looking at me like that?Nupur thought.Melting into each other Mayank started moving his face in her hair while Nupur clutched his shirt more tightly and shut her eyes to keep herself stable.By now Mayank's eyes were closed too and he was truly enjoying the warmth and comfort in Nupur.Both of them were lost into the moment and were trying to take in each other's feel after so long.They kept standing there with each other not caring about the people around when suddenly the music stopped and Nupur jerked opened her eyes.Realization struck both of them and they slowly moved apart.Nupur looked at him confused while he looked away.Before they have to face each other and talk it out Nupur left the hall so that no one could see them together and moved rapidly towards the exit while Mayank followed her to stop her from leaving.
