Few months later
"Nupur......." Mayank called...
A four year old girl came running towards him.....
"Aww.... mera baccha" Mayank picked her up in his arms....
Gunjan came out of the kitchen....
"Khana ready hai tum jaldi se aa jao"
Then she saw Mayank's father standing behind him. She became tensed on seeing him.
"Aaiye dad, andar chaliye" Mayank said
His dad was constantly gazing at Gunjan and the girl in Mayank's arms.....
"Toh ye hai tumhaara surprise, par......" his dad responded looking around at his house
"Par kya dad ?" Mayank asked his dad
"Nupur ki barsi bhi nahin hui aur tumne doosri shaadi kar li ?" His dad replied now turning his gaze towards Mayank..
Mayank placed the girl on the ground "Abhi mummy ke paas jao, Nupur"
"Dad, aapko toh pata hi hai Nupur se main kabhi pyar karta hi nahin tha, main sirf Gunjan se pyar karta tha, Nupur se meri shaadi jhooth thi" Mayank replied
His dad tried to appear ignorant about their marriage "Jhooth thi? Par phir usski wajah se tumne ghar kyun choda"
"Ma......dad.... ma..... mujhe Nupur se chutkara chahiye tha jo ma hone nahin deti..... usse alag rakha par main kya karun ek choti si bhool ke kaaran wo pregnant ho gayi aur aap toh ladkiyon ko jaante hain aisa hone ka baad peecha thodi na chodti hain"
"Ok..... I see..... par Gunjan se shaadi kab ki tumne... aur ye bacchi?" He was trying to provoke Mayank to reveal about his marriage and if he was married to Gunjan then his whole plan would ruin in front of his eyes..
"Ye sach maine aapse kai saalon se chupaya dad.... kyunki aap ki aur Malhotra's ki rivalry itni badi thi ki aap meri shaadi usse hone nahin dete...... issliye hum dono ne chup ke shaadi kar li thi par kisiko pata nahin tha"
Then suddenly something falls and a noise reaches to the drawing room.....
"Oh shit" Mayank spoke out abruptly...
In another another guy also spoke out "Oh shit"
"Kya hua?" his dad asked
"Kuch nahin Chh.... I mean Nupur khel rahi hogi" Mayank replied
"Wo chodiye dad......aapko bura toh nahin laga ki maine Gunjan se shaadi kar li?" Mayank looked in his dad eyes and asked him innocently.....
His dad in his thoughts "Mayank tumne theek nahin kiya itna bada sach mujh se chupa kar par koi baat nahin Nupur ki tarah isska bhi main ilaj dhoond lunga zyada der nahin lagegi mujhe, us Malhotra ki ladki tumhaari zindagi se likaalne mein"
"Dad aapne jawaab nahin diya" Mayank said
"Haan....nahi....nahin beta mujhe kya problem hogi.... ek baar tumhein apne se door karke bhugat chuka hoon.... main to kehta hoon tum abhi ghar waapas chalo meri bahu aur poti ka ghar mein swaagat hai" he replied
Mayank jumped with joy "Arre, ye toh bohot acchi baat hai...... Gunjan mithai laao...."
Gunjan came out of the room "Mayank ghar mein mithai toh hai nahin....."
"Toh main abhi lekar aata hoon" Mayank said and rushed towards the door....
"Arre beta iski koi zaroorat nahin hai" his dad said...
"Arre..." Mayank said and left....
In a second Gunjan realised
"Arre paise Mayank...... paise toh le jaao...wo tumhe free mein mithai thodi na dega" she said and picked her purse and ran out of the door........
In another room the guy was all ready in his position.....
Mayank's dad called someone "Gunjan Malhotra..... sirf 24 ghante hain tumhaare paas..... kaam pichli baar ki tarah badhiya chahiye...... Nupur ka chehra bhi pehchaan mein nahin aa raha tha.... Gunjan ki laash bhi mujhe 24 ghante ke andar chahiye samajh mein aaya"
The guy in another room on the phone said "All done"
In the while Gunjan came back and following her Mayank entered from the door......
"Itni jaldi mithai le aaye beta" his dad said putting his cellphone in his pocket.....
Mayank smiled "Mithai nahin mili Mr. Raichand Sharma par halwaai mil gaye"
Policemen entered from the door and placed handcuffs between Raichand's hands......
"You are under arrest Raichand Sharma" Inpector said
"Wait a minute.... Mayank ye sab kya hai" he replied
"Aapki kartooton ka phal" Mayank said
A guy came out from the room and handed over a CD to the inspector "Ye leejiye sir, Mr. Raichand ka kaboolnama"
"Chalein Mr. Raichand" Inspector pulled him and left in his police jeep.
Tears were rolling down from Gunjan's eyes......
"Gunjan....." The guy came towards Gunjan and wiped her tears....
Gunjan huged him back "Samrat"
"Gunjan ab jaakar toh sach ko insaaf mila hai aur tum ro rahi ho.... ye khushi ki baat hai" Samrat (the guy) consoled him...
Gunjan wiped her tears and then they saw Mayank sitting burrowing his head under his hands.
"Mayank" Samrat placed his hands on his shoulders
Mayank looked up at Samrat and smiled "I am fine"
Samrat smiled back and they both hugged each other...
They broke the hug and Samrat said "Idiot.... mujhe laga tha.... ab toh gaya plan paani mein"
"Kyun?"
"Us choti si angel ka naam Chavi hai..... Nupur nahin"
"Ohh... haan my mistake.... wo aadat hai enter karte hi Nupur ka naam lene ki...."
Nupur was sitting in a car beside Dia. The car passed from the same chaat street. Nupur remembered sometning vaguely from the past..... she was hit away by a car....
Saying Nupur's name Mayank's mind travelled back to the past....
"Doctor... Nupur theek to hai...." Mayank asked
"Dekhiye.... hum poori koshish kar rahe hain... patient ko abhi hosh nahin aaya hai.... jab tak wo respond nahin karti hum kuch nahin keh sakte.... girne ki wajah se unke dimag par asar hua hai.... " Daoctor replied to Mayank
Mayank felt very helpless and he sat on a chair..... He looked out of the window.... the night was completely dark like his life......
Then he saw a lady running in front of his eyes.... He stood up. He was familiar to her....
"Gunjan" Mayank called
The lady turned. She was Gunjan. Hair were messed up and sweat was drenching her..... when she saw Mayank, she felt a sigh of relief "Mayank" she ran towards him...
"Gunjan tum theek toh ho?" Mayank enquired
"Mayank..... Samrat ka accident ho gaya hai" she said breathing heavily "mujhe 112 ward number bataya gaya hai par mujhe mil nahin raha"
"Main bhi chalta hoon tumhaare saath" Mayank said and they left
They reached the ward which was on first floor and they entered the ward. Nurse was coming out of the ward. Gunjan directly went and sat beside Samrat who was lying unconscious on the bed. Mayank enquired with the nurse...
"Kisi ne sacche man se iss aadmi ke liye dua maangi hogi.... warna wahaan se bach pana...." Nurse looked at Mayank who was already tensed "Arre baba.... wo theek hai.... thodi der mein usse hosh aa jayega... zyaada chot nahin lagi hai usse.."
Mayank felt a sigh of relief and looked at Gunjan who crying looking at Samrat. Mayank went inside. He placed his hands on her shoulders and said "Wo theek hai, thodi der mein usse hosh aa jaayega... ab rona band karo Gunjan"
Gunjan looked at Mayank and wiped her tears. Then Mayank left the ward.....
After a second he heard Gunjan calling her. He turned and saw Gunjan coming towards her....
"Tum yahaan kaise Mayank hospital mein?" Gunjan asked
"Wo....wo... Nupur ka accident ho gaya hai.... doctors kuch bata bhi nahi rahe" He said movig his hands over his hairs and pulling them....
Mayank was sitting on the chair when he saw his mom and dad coming towards him....
"Mayu..... Nupur theek to hai na" his mom hugged him...
His dad was standing silently and smiling in his heart....
Then the doctors came "Sorry, Nupur is no more"
Mayank hugged his mom and they both started crying....
Mayank looked at his dad from the sides of his eyes who was smiling looking at the ceiling....
After the final ceremony of Nupur's body..... Mayank used to live in his flat......
"Mr. aashiq apne aap par control karo thoda.... ab toh aap papa banne waale ho"
Mayank smiled and looked at the watch....
"Oh my God, Nupur ke aane ka waqt ho gaya hai. Dia aur Nupur kabhi bhi doctor ke yahaan se aate hi honge..... usse nahin pata chalna chahiye humaare plan ke baare mein.... Samrat jaldi se wire unfold kar"
They were cleaning up the mess and there was a knock on the door. There was a lady. They handed over Chhavi to her. "Thank you Mrs. Gupta, humne Chavi ke saath bohot maze kiye.... aapki bacchi bohot pyaari hai"
After she left Mayank, Gunjan and Samrat started talking about their plan which was running from months...
Nupur was always alive.... They were fooling Mayank's dad so that the deer could be shot dead by the hunter. Mayank replaced Nupur's body as some body whose face was not visible. He acted as if he was living his flat with Nupur's memories but he was living with Nupur. Nupur was unaware of their plan as after the accident doctor's advised her to stay of from any kind of tension or stress.....
The door bell rang again and Nupur entered slowly with her belly coming out like a balloon....
"Tum nahin aa sakte the, mujhse bole zaroori kaam hai" Nupur said
"Hai na" Mayank said
Then Gunjan and Samrat came out of the room shouting "SURPRISE"......
Nupur really got surprised by their visit.....
"Heyy bhagwaan dara diya mujhe....ok toh aap ko aana tha.... bohot accha laga tumhein itne dinon baad dekh kar" Samrat and Gunjan hugged Nupur....
"So mummy, delievery ki sambhawna kab hai" Gunjan asked
"Doctor ne kaha baby jaldi aane waala hai.... 15-20 days" Nupur replied caressing her belly...
"Ok toh issi baat par ek photo ho jaaye.... Dia ek photo please" Samrat said
Dia clicked the photo......
And it is the beginning after the end.....still some questions are unanswered.....
First love always finds a special place in your heart. Is it the same case with Mayank and Gunjan ?
After many hurdles Samrat and Nupur were able to defeat even death to fight for their love but why not Mayank and Gunjan ?
If it was the destiny then where is the power of love ?
