Hamrahi (Part 6)

Nupur has locked herself in her room since she came back from university. Her eyes were swallowen because of crying continuously.

"Main kya karoon, ais kya karoon jiss se kisi ko bhi dukh na pohanche, jiss se sub problem solve ho jaaye, Main Baba aur Samrat ko dukhi nahi daikh sakti, kitna bharosa hai unhain mujh per aur jub unhain meri shaadi ke barre men pata chale ga toh ...." Her heart sank, "Nahi mujhe kuch sochna hoga jiss se sub theek ho jaaye iss ke liye mujhe ..." Her thought get interrupted by the knock at the door. She wiped her tears, composed herself and opened the door. This was Samrat. She gave him the way to come in and turned her face from him

"Kya baat hai Nupur, main daikh raha hoon ke tum kuch pareshaan ho, kuch hua hai kya?" He asked taking her in his arms and Nupur who was in need of a shoulder to shed all her tears hugged him and started crying. Samrat worried at her act

"Nupur, Nupur kya pareshaani hai, mujhe batao" He said caressing her head. Nupur suddenly realized what she was doing, she separated from him and wiped her tears

"Kuch nahi bus aise hi mama ki yaad aa rahi thi" She said looking away from him and he smiled painfully. He knew how much Nupur attached with their mother

"Mama ko aise ro ke yaad kero gi, socho agar woh tumhain ise rota daikhain gi toh unhain kitna dukh hoga" It worked and she stopped crying

"Chalo jaldi se moun dho ke aao, Baba tumhain aise daikhain ge toh pareshaan ho jaien ge" She nodded and went to the bathroom

She threw water on her face when someting strikes in her mind and she reached on a certain decision

Mayank was sitting in his window thinking about Nupur, thinking that she now belongs to him. He had their marriage certificate in his hand, he pressed his fingers on her signature. He smiled remembering her but then suddenly his smiling lips shrink and her sad face came in front of her eyes

"Nupur khush nahi hai, aur woh khush ho bhi kaise sakti hai ... I mean joh main ne kia woh theek nahi tha, mujhe sochna chahiye tha ke main kya ker raha hoon per ghusse ne mujhe pagal ker dia aur .... but joh bhi ho, achi baat to yeh hai ke Nupur meri hai, aik baar studies complete ho jaaye phir hum sub ko iss shadi ke barre mein bata dain ge" He was smiling planning about their future not knowing that his planning will be changed due to one happening which is going to change his life

Nupur was talking with Gunjan on phone, "I am sorry Gunjan" She was crying and Gunjan worried at her strange behavior

"Nupur tujhe kya ho gaya hai? kaisi ajeeb ajeeb baatein ker rahi hai?"

"Gunji say for the last time that you trust me, please say it" Her demand feared Gunjan

"Yes I trust you but ..." Nupur didn't give her chance to complete

"I just wanted to listen this, now I can do what I want, Bye Gunji .... " She paused and then said, "Forever"

"Nupur .. Hello .. Nup ...." Nupur put down the phone and Gunjan was worried holding phone in her hand

"Mujhe uncle se baat kerni chahiye" She decided to call Nupur's Dad

Samrat came into the kitchen to take water for him when the phone in hall rang

"Hello"

"Hello main Gunjan baat ker rahi hoon, Nupur ki friend .. aap" Samrat thought that she has to talk Nupur so he asked her to hold

"Hold on, I'll call her" Gunjan stopped him

"Nahi mujhe Nupur se baat nahi krni, meri uss se abhi baat hui hai aur woh kuch ajeeb ajeeb si baatein ker rahi thi, main usse phone ker rahi hoon per woh attened bhi nahi ker rahi, aap please daikhain ge ke woh theek hai?"

"Main .. main daikhta hoon" He put down the phone and ran towards her room. He opened the door and as he entered in he shouted, "NUPUR"
