wow today's update was speechless i have no words i don't know how to describe .ur speechlessness is the biggest compliment😆😆 and i am very happy u r liking my story and my style of writing so much😊.u expresses kripa's thoughts her inner war b\w wolf and human her control her emotions every thing is just amazing but only one line confused me [On top of that I hardly know her and she isn't even human!!].well yes.. he knows very well she is not human.. and well if u had noticed he is raher fast too(he was able to stop her from running away. plus who swears their swords huh?).. so he may not be 100% human either😉so Angad noticed changes in her he knew she is not human ..yup..
and wow u add romantic flavour AK kissed 😍 haayeeeeeeee so cute.tht just happened. i was saving it for later scenes but then my fingers just wrote it themselfes😆 .now kripa reacting every angad touch i think after kissed they both will be strongly connect to each other..oh dear arent they already/😉 but yes after 😉he kiss i guess it will be stronger. its like closer they get.. more difficult for them to be apart then

CHAPTER 4

A Vampire's Were

Both were lost in each other, oblivious to the chaos and humans around them, until a voice shattered it all. "KRIPA!"

With a jolt Angad and Kripa broke apart to see a very angry/shocked looking David standing there. Instantly Kripa stepped away from Angad, but Angad held her waist and pulled her closer. Mine! And he would tell the whole world just that.

"d.. da..vid….", Kripa sputtered in embarrassment and confusion as she tried to pull away from Angad. What is going on? What just happened? Why won't he let me go?! Why am I afraid after seeing David? Why won't everything just slow down?!!

"David." Angad said with challenge in his eyes. He would fight David and evry1 who would try to come between him and what was his.

"Mr. Khanna." David barely glanced at Angad and stared at Kripa with disbelief, "let go of Kripa please."

Angad narrowed his eyes at David's bland tone and spoke with menace, "I won't let you hurt her for-"

"Mr. Khanna, don't assume to know me or Kripa." David cut him in with chilled tones. "Besides, shouldn't you be going too, it Is close to dusk?"

Instantly Angad let go of Kripa, his stance turning defensive. How did he.. What all does he know?!! He is right though damn it!

"You can't keep us away from each other. I will see her tomorrow." Angad spoke as he backed off and Kripa stood there looking at both the men with increasing confusion. Slow down. Slow down!! What just happened? What happens at dusk? What is he, a gargoyle?

"Seeing you again is Kripa's choice, not your will." David made the parting shot and started dragging a confused Kripa to the car.

"Kripa did he force you?" David asked once they were inside the car.

"No.. I.. don't think so.." Kripa said trying to make sense of the last half an hour.

"You don't think- *deep sigh* forget it. I called Mr. Grewal, he is fine. They are coming back in 3 days."

Kripa just hmmed at the news.. Her mind was still too occupied by Angad and their kiss, "David can you think while you kiss?"

"What!!" David shouted and the car swerved out of control for a moment, but this was Kripa. She could do and say most outrageous things at most inconvenient times, with complete ease.

"Don't ask such things!!" David huffed turning slightly red.

"Why not? Who do I ask then? Haven't you ever kissed any1? Do you have a girlfriend David? Angad though you were my boyfriend."

"You and that freak are both mad. Leave me out of this. And what r you wearing? Where did you get that necklace from? Where's your collar?"

"Oh.. This… He gave it to me." Kripa spoke in a dreamy voice. Whatever had happened however fast, she liked Angad.. She wouldn't follow him blindly.. But she liked him and she liked kissing him a lot too.

Slowly David pulled the car over t the side and stared at Kripa. His mouth was set in harsh lines and eyes were snapping with anger.

"Kripa, you knowingly let that bas***d put HIS leash on you?!!!"

Kripa trembled with confusion, anger and most of all with unadulterated fear as she cowered on her knees. Sujal stood 10 paces away from her, yet she felt as if she would never be at his side again.

"I am sorry.. I .. I.. ". Kripa whispered and tears streamed down her face.

"Sujal. What is going on? Why is she doing that? Stop her. What is wrong with her? What is wrong with you?" Kashish hovered over between two of them. It was now 3 days past the cafe incident and Kripa hadn't met Angad again since then. Today Sujal and Kashish had returned and now they were all in grounds of Sujal's mansion. David, Havers stood respectfully behind Sujal with their hands clasped in front with total submission and devotion. Much as it would shatter their hearts, they will drag and throw away Kripa if Sujal would ask them to. Sujal stood there with fury blurring his features and making a slight breeze bellow from under his feet.

Kripa had done the unforgivable. 20 yrs back when Aarde' had used her and left her for dead. She had been marked as traitor and forbidden from returning to her homeland. A teenager then, with no will to live and dying from wounds outside and inside, Sujal had taken her into his household. He, himself had just broken away from his family to start his company. He was already in a very vulnerable position, facing Tjnb (a complete shunning) from vampire society himself, at that he had accepted her against all disapproving heads and the spiteful comments. He had taken her in, cared for her, given her a new life. He had even entrusted his Rwh al-Msdr(Kashish's) security to her, this was the highest trust a vampire could place in a werewolf guard.

And what had she done? Thrown it all away for sake of few sweets? Hasn't she learned anything from past betrayal? How could she swear devotion to Angad by wearing his collar, when she owed her existence to Sujal?!!! HOW?!!

Such thoughts tortured Kripa as she waited for Sujal to do his worst. But one thing was for sure, whatever he would say, she would accept.

"Master, forgive me." Kripa said again, her head bowed and voice still trembling.

"Master… that I am no more. It is not for me to forgive you.", Sujal hardly whispered, yet his voice could have been heard 100 meter away.

"Please… I …. My gesture was… I didn't mean to do it. I cannot think of any1 other you to guide me… I", Kripa broke down and felt a warm, soothing hand over head. When she raised her head she saw Kashish crouching besides her and patting, "I am so sorry.. I-"

"Shhhh.. It's Ok. Calm down Kripa." Kashish stroked her hair and wiped her tears with compassion, which only made Kripa cry more. Here she was on verge of another Tjnb, and her mistress was showing her such love, "No Kripa, don't cry. Calm down please."

But it didn't help, the more Kashish tried the more Kripa cried, giving up Kashish stood up, the compassion in her eyes replaced with snapping fury.

"What the HELL is going on here. And I don't want stares, blanks and pauses. Words. Why is she crying.", when no one replied Kashish glared at Sujal.

"My Rwh al-Msdr, please stay out of this. You do not understand the ways between a wolf and its-"

"WOLF!!! She is girl!! Are you blind? And don't call me Rwh al-Msdr and ask me to stay away, in the same sentence. Make me understand, I am not an idiot and being your Rwh al-Msdr I have every right to vote in your decision. So speak sense. Now!", Kashish snapped at Sujal. She may be his secretary at office, yes, BUT she wasn't just his employ, they were partners, 2 half's of an entity.

Inspite the burning anger Sujal felt towards Kripa's mindless actions he couldn't help smile at Kashish's courage to demand explanation when he was in such a mood, any1 else would have run away a long time ago.

"She is part wolf and that part; by laws of her nature, demand a Keeper. If she is without a keeper, her wolf would be stray, wild and hostile. And since she is human too; her human nature would become hostile too. Since were's live long and changing master's is very dangerous, naturally vampires and werewolf's formed perfect Keeper-Guardian relationship. We took care of them and they protect us in the daylight. It's obsolete now.. But those needs remain. Once a wolf is bound to a master, both give something to the bond. If it's broken, both are hurt. The vampires abandoned by their wolf become distrustful of everyone and eventually a total recluse."

"What Kripa did was, she accepted that Man as her Keeper. She abandoned me and now I Will forsake her."

As soon as Sujal spoke those words Kripa howled in agony, she did not want it. She did not want to leave him!!

"So she is supposed to guard you in day time.. Does she have to it in wolf form? I think NO. You already Have Max, so your psyche wouldn't get any worse… *mutters*than it already is.." Kashish spoke to Sujal in reasonable voice, "Besides, she just accepted a necklace. They DOESN'T signify ownership. Maybe for a dog they do BUT she is part human. So she can wear any damn thing she wants. Besides in those ancient times you mentioned I am sure, they didn't wear a collar, so why make an issue of it now? Kripa. Stop crying this instant like a guilty murderer. Stand up. Straight. Show me some pride. Look at us and tell us what you want. Who you want."

For a moment every stood still in shock, what Kashish had just said was... Incredible and veryy daring. Sujal snapping out of it first, hid his grin (He adores Kashish and anything she says), "Well Kripa you heard her. Stand and speak for yourself."

It took Kripa a lot longer to get out of the sudden shock. For 3 days she had been dreading this and now suddenly she was being given a chance? Her kind had never been given such a choice before ever.

"Kripa. Say something. No one is going to eat you, Ok? And think before what you say. As what David told us.. You really seem to like this guy.. So make sure what you choose, is really what you want."

Kripa nodded her head and stood up, slowly she raised her head and dared to glance at Sujal, even now she would give up her life for him. This she knew. But now, there was another person for whom she would risk her safety.. "I want to stay here. I want you to be my keeper. I swear, I still guard your safety with my life… But.. I… I think I like him too… Maybe coz it has been a long time since I was human.. I like him.. And I want to protect him from danger too. But he doesn't mean my life to me. You and Kashish do. I may want him, but not above or more than you. If I have to choose b/w you and him it will be you." Kripa said with a clear heart and firm determination , but experienced a slight pain in her chest.

"Fine. You r still my guard then and you can meet him whenever you want, do whatever you want. But, you like him Kripa and somehow I don't think it'll be easy for you to choose again. Besides you would have to tell him the truth if you have to make the choice, so just make sure you don't have to choose again."

"Yes Master."

Sujal quickly walked forward and hugged Kripa tight. He was glad that Kashish had intervened, coz Kripa was like a younger sister to him. He had washed and bandaged her wounds and he wouldn't let any guy hurt her again!! Even if that person was Angad Khanna.

Kripa could hardly believe what was happening. Not only was she accepted by Sujal, he was accepting her happily!! Never in last 20 yrs had he hugged her involuntary like this and he allowed her to meet Angad too!!! Kripa cried happily and hugged Sujal back.

"Ok.. Don't I deserve some love? I was her lawyer you know.." Kashish said with tears threatening to fall down her eyes, she was happy with this result, coz she too knew how much Sujal cared for Kripa.

"KASHISH!!!", Kripa yelped and like the airport, she threw herself over Kashish in a wild bear hug, crying happily on her neck.

"Yes, yes.. It's ok.. Cant breath Kripa!!", Kashish pushed her back a little and then smiled at everyone, "So who is this man? How dare he coz us such worries?"

"Oh he is Angad!! I met him at the veterinary clinic when I took Max there. He was nice to me, when I was scared and he let me eat all his cookies too."

"Hmm he seems nice. What does he do?" Kashish asked looping her arms with Kripa as everyone walked back inside.

"Oh I don't know for sure.. I think he's owner of some rich company. You may even know him, he's Angad Khanna."

As soon as the words were out of her mouth, Kripa knew something worse was yet to come, coz this time, Kashish unlinked her arm and stepped back to glare at her.

"The JERK Angad Khanna? Owner of LightWorld Ltd?"
