6 months earlier ....

Mayank was having his breakfast, Maa entered from the kitchen .....
Maa - Mayu ...
Mayank (interrupting) - Mayank, maa ....
Maa - Tu kitna bhi bada ho jaaye ... main tujhe Mayu hi bulaaungi .... Mayu!
Maa started giggling ... Mayank mildly smiled ....
Mayank - Acha aap kya keh rahi thi?
Maa - Haan .... tu kitne baje niklega?
Mayank - Kyun?
Maa - Mujhe Aangan chodte hue jaana ....
Mayank - Maa ... aaj aapki doctor ke saath appointment hai ....
Maa - Haan to maine kab kaha ki main nahi jaaungi?
Mayank - Agar ek baar Aangan chali gayi to wahaan se aapko kahin jaane ka man nahi karta ...
Maa - Mayu ... main teri maa hun ... main keh rahi hun, main jaaungi ....
Mayank - Pakka ...
Maa - Haan baba ... hey ram ... mujhe samajh nahi aata ki hum dono mein bada kaun hai ...
Mayank - Maa ... chale?
Maa - Haan ... to maine kab mana kiya? Chal ....

Mayank always adored his maa's constant blabbering .... he could never understand how she could always smile even in the worst situation .... Both sat in the car as Mayank drove maa to Aangan ...
Mayank - Maa, main aapko phone karunga ...
Maa - Haan baba ... chal ab jaa ....
Mayank - Hm ... bye ...

Maa entered the Aangan to be welcomed by another care-taker of hers ....
Nupur - Good morning maa ...
Maa - Good morning beta ...
Nupur - Aapki to doctor ke saath appointment thi naa ...
Maa keeps her hand on Nupur's shoulder as they enter inside ....
Maa - Hey bhagwaan!! Ghar mein Mayank aur yahaan tu ... dono meri jaan ke peeche pade ho ... kaunse janam ka badla le rahe ho?

Nupur giggles after hearing the usual filmy style dialogs of maa ... she always adored her happy-go-lucky nature ...
Nupur was the eldest in Aangan ... 21 and a half and soon was turning 22 ... Maa and Nupur were playing with the kids ... and the time went on ...

After sometime, Mayank called up ...
Maa - Hey bhagwaan!! Hitler ka phone aa gaya!!
Nupur started giggling ....
Maa (scared) - Hello .... beta ...
Mayank - Maa ... doctor ka phone aaya tha aur unhone bataya ki aapne phir se appointment miss kar diya ...
Nupur by that time went inside to teach the kids ....
Maa - Beta ... wo ...
Mayank (sigh) - Maa .. main aapko lene aa raha hun aur hum DONO doctor ke paas SAATH jaayenge ... okay ... main 10 minute mein pahunch raha hun ...
Maa - Mayu sun to ...
By that time he had hung the phone ...
Maa - Shilpa, aaj to tu gayi ... ab agar Nupur ko yaad aa gaya to teri shaamat hai ....

The same time Nupur came out in anger and stood near maa ...
Nupur - Aapne phir apni appointment miss kar di na ... isliye Mayankji ne aapko phone kiya tha, (sweetly) hai na ....
Maa - Beta ... wo mujhe bas lene aa hi raha hai ... ab tu mat daantna ... wo pehle hi daantne wala hai ...
Nupur - Daantna bhi chaahiye ... sabka khayal hai, siwaay apne ... kyun?
Maa - Tum dono ho na mera khayal rakhne ke liye ....
Nupur could not control and smiled ....

Soon after Mayank arrived Aangan ... Maa was busy talking to her employees and so sent Nupur to Mayank with a message ...
Nupur - Mayankji ...
Mayank - Maa kahaan hai?
Nupur - Wo unhone kaha ki 2 minute mein aa rahi hai ...
Mayank - Hmm .... to aaj kal kya kar rahi ho?
Nupur - College khatam ho gaya hai ... ab Aangan aur kendravidyalay mein padha bhi rahi hun aur Aangan mein hi reh rahi hun ...
Mayank - Good, the best part is ki tum apne pairon par khadi ho ....
Nupur smiled .... as she knew that Mayank was very adamant and getting praised by him was a tough job ....

Maa was coming outside when she saw Mayank and Nupur together .... a wish came in her heart which she knew probably won't ever be true ......

Mayank - Maa ... chalein?
Maa (smiling) - Hmm ...
Nupur - Bye maa ...
Maa - Bye beta ....

Mayank and maa sat in the car as Nupur went inside ....
Maa - Nupur achi ladki hai na ...
Mayank - Hmm ... independent hai ... khud ka kharcha uthati hai ...
Maa - Hey bhagwaan us tarah se nahi ...
Mayank - Phir kis tarah se ....
Maa - Wo kitni sundar hai .... bahar se bhi aur andar se bhi ... aur ...
Mayank (interrupting) - Aur abhi bachchi hai ... maa tum abhi se uski shaadi ki baatein kar rahi ho ... wo abhi bas 21 saal ki hai ....
Maa (naughtily) - Tujhe bada pata hai uski umr ke baare mein .... hmmmm?
Mayank - Maa kyunki usne mujhe abhi bataya ki usne college paas kar liya hai ... aap please ulti seedhi baatein mat sochiye ...
Maa (mumbling) - Main kahaan kuch soch rahi hun ... maine to wahi kaha jo maine dekha ...
Mayank - Mujhe sunaayi de raha hai maa ... ab chalein hospital aa gaya hai ...
Maa (smiling) - Chal ...

Sonam I am not so late this time, Great. Memories at many a times just keep on haunting, I hope in time M would be able to remember them with the best spirits and in the best light, Great update sonam. Keep it up!
