"Maan" she began softly, "I wanted to apologize. Your anger before was completely justified, because yeah, you're right, I did act like a five year old. And yes, that prank may have actually gone a bit too far."
Maan furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, A part of him really wanted to believe her, but the other part of him, the other part of him was reminded of how stupid her actions had been earlier. Dumping water on him, and then pretending that her and the baby were hurt!
And Geet continued, refusing to pause just because she recognized that the worried look was gone from his eyes, and his expression was now masked once again.
"Maan, can you please forgive me? I promise, I won't ever play around about something related to the baby. Ever again."
Maan didn't respond.
And they sat in silence for a few seconds before he pushed her hands aside and got up, walking towards the window in the room.
And she waited, anxiously, as she clamped her fingers together, to hear his response.
"So that means you won't stop playing those pranks on me, right? Cause I would definitely miss those"
He turned around with a twinkle in his eye and a small smile forming on his face, and she was more than relieved, as she released the breath she hadn't even realized she was holding in. Hurrying over to him, she threw her arms around him, once again muttering apologies which he now graciously tried to calm down.
It had been a mistake.
On both of their parts.
But they had overcome it. Like they would do everything else in their lives.
Their life together.
Precap: Maan slowly rubbed his eyes open. She was saying something, saying something to the baby inside of her.
"Don't worry my baby, we'll be fine soon. We don't have anything else to worry about, not anymore anyways. He'll keep us safe" Geet murmured softly.
Confused, Maan turned over on the bed, only to see her rubbing her belly softly, a contented look on her face as she just radiated a sense of peace.
And a smile automatically appeared on his face as he reached out unconsciously to place a hand over her own.

So, most of you were right, Geet was definitely faking it. And well, as you see now their tiff is over!!
As to where the story is headed, our couple will be heading back to India in the upcoming parts, where they'll have some issues to deal with, both together and separately.
Some problems that will affect both them and the baby.
And a few new surprises as well!😆😉
