"Oh no!" Pinky drops everything in her hands and holds onto her head as she looks ahead in shock. "If Geet meets MK, then my job is gone for sure!"
Pinky picks up her belongings from the floor and runs out to stop Geet.
"Geet!" Pinky calls out but Geet is unable to hear her from being so far away from her.
Pinky decides to call out to her boss since he is more attentive than Geet is.
"Maan!" Pinky shouts out and then turns around, not wanting to get in trouble from her boss.
Maan stops in his tracks to see who called out to him while Geet keeps walking ahead but looks to see who shouted out at the same time. Due to her eyes being averted from the path infront of her, Geet bumps into a woman who was heading towards Maan to give him some files to look at. The files fall down to the ground and all the papers fly out from it and scatter on the ground. Geet and the woman look down onto the scattered papers and files, then at each other.
Geet sees that the woman is wearing black heels with a black dress on that goes upto her knees. A pair of matching black earrings dangle from her ears. Clearly, not an attire for someone to be wearing at an office.
The woman notices Geet wearing silver high heels with a light blue dress that had a very thin silver belt like design going from her chest to the back and flowed down to her ankles. Geet had on silver and blue long earrings that hung down and gently kissed her cheeks when she made even the slightest gesture.
Geet sighed.
"If you're done staring at me, would you mind picking up the clutter that you so kindly presented infront of me?" asks Geet in a polite but mean tone.
"Excuse me?" says the woman in front of her.
Geet rolls her eyes. "Do you some problem in hearing or do you like wasting my time? I said pick up the garbage." Geet repeats.
The woman opens her mouth in shock. "G.. garbage?! This. Is not garbage. And how dare you speak to me in that tone? Do you even know who I am?"
"No, and I don't even want to because I don't really care." Geet harshly replies back. "I want to speak to the boss right now. What kind of people does he employ around here?"
Geet pushes the woman to aside and proceeds onto walking towards the boss.
"Hey!" says the woman angrily. "No one... and I mean no one, ever talks to Sasha that way."
Geet turns around with an amused smile. "Sweetheart, there's a first time for everything." She smiles at her before turning around.
Maan would have been the first person to be directly in her vision if Geet hadn't heard that laugh. It was a very weird but cute laugh. Geet crunched her nose slightly wondering where that laugh was coming from.
"It's working Adi! Keep laughing." urges Pinky seeing that the laugh coming from her colleague had captured Geet's attention. "Come on, Adi!" Pinky tickles Adi to make him laugh even more.
Geet picks up her pace to find the origin of the laugh as she gets more and more closer to it. Maan who had noticed a woman yelling at one of his employees, goes upto Sasha to find out what was going on.
"Sasha." he says.
Sasha looks up and from seeing her boss, she quickly gathers up her papers and files and stands up. "Yes sir."
"Who was that?" he asks.
"I really don't know sir. Seems like she lost her mind. She said that she's looking for you." Sasha informs him.
"Oh really. Where is she now?"
"I don't know sir. She was heading towards that way, but then I don't know where she went." Sasha points to her right to show Maan the way.
"Alright thanks." Maan follows the direction that Sasha had showed him.
Geet approaches Adi and Pinky and is stunned. She raises her eyebrows when she realizes that the laugh was coming from nowhere other than the male bent over in his chair and was holding onto his stomach.
"Pinky he.." Geet is unable to finish her sentence due to Pinky's hurriedness.
"Yeah, yeah I know. He's like that. Now let's go!!" Pinky rushes her.
Geet starts laughing uncontrollably while Pinky drags her to the elevator. Maan stops in his tracks as the sound waves coming from Geet's laughter comes into his hearing field.
"This laughter..." Maan turns around knowing that there is only person in this whole world who could have that laugh.
He runs after the laughter, hoping to reach the owner of it.
"Geet, stop it!" Pinky commands, embarrassed by all the pairs of eyes that are glued onto them right now.
"I'm sorry. But I can't help it. It's just happening by itself." Geet manages to say before laughing again.
"You know Geet, you are the most weirdest person that I have ever met." The elevator opens and they both enter.
"How come?" Geet asks.
"You always have to do the opposite of whatever I tell you don't you? Normally when I tell you to laugh, you don't and now that we're in the office, you're laughing like a hyena!" Pinky says sending Geet into another fit of hysterical laughter.
Just moments before the elevator closed, Maan manages to get a glimpse of the face to whom the laughter belongs to. Her face is glowing with happiness, sending off positive vibes from all around her. Maan is unable to believe that he is able to see her face once again.
Maan breaks out of his reverie, when he sees the elevator closing on her face. He runs to stop it, but he encounters with the metal surface as he reaches too late.
"I have to stop her. I can't let her go now." he says to himself determined.
He goes from the stairway and runs down as fast as he can. He enters the lobby when he sees Geet leaving through the door, towards her car. Maan runs after her, knowing that there is no way that she will be able to escape from him now.
"Okay I'm sorry! I promise I won't do anything to put your job at risk now. Okay!" Geet says to Pinky who is standing by the passenger side of the car.
"Alright. Now let's go. We're getting late, remember!" Pinky reminds Geet.
"Oh right!" Geet opens her car door but is pulled back.
She turns around and crashes into a muscular chest. A musky smell invaded her bringing back so many encounters similar to this one. She blinks as some of these moments make their appearance to Geet. Geet's hands replaces her head from the muscular chest, as it lifts up to see who was able to bring back so many memories to her.
Her eyes trail along a very tight jaw line that had very attractive looking stubble on it, ending at a pair of eyes that had longing, desire and passion in them. As she looks into these eyes, Geet is able to give a face to the man in her dreams, thoughts and ghost that haunts every moment of her life.
"Geet." he whispers.
That one word, that one name takes her breath away. She has heard her name being said over and over again by various people in so many different ways, but never has her name sounded so wonderful and so meaningful as it has now. As she closes her eyes, her name being called out by this person numerous of times, invades her ears. Geet brings her head in closer to his chest and keeps her eyes closed, not wanting to let go of all the memories that are floating back to her.
"Maan." she whispers.
That four lettered word brings back Maan's life. His happiness and a motive to live again. He's agitated that she remembers him and all the moments that they spent together. He was now going to tell her the thing that he should have told her a long time ago. The thing that he had realized a bit too late.
"Geet, I..." Maan stops in mid-sentence as he feels Geet stiffen in his arms.
She slowly unlocks herself from his arms and stands a few feet away from him, behaving as if she was looking at something disgusting.
"Geet." he says but is stopped by her as she raises a hand.
"Don't." she warns him. "Don't you dare come near me." she says with anger in her eyes. The anger quickly dissolves away into confusion. She holds onto her head as it starts hurting her. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I... I don't even know you. I.. I'm sorry." she says before getting into the backside of the car.
Pinky shifts over to the driver's seat and drives away, leaving Maan by himself, hurt and lonely just like before.
Geet's words haunt Maan and echo into his mind over and over again.
"How.. how is that possible? She.. she doesn't know who I am?" Maan asks himself hurt. "No.. there's no way that she can forget me." He says no in a determined voice. "I have to bring her back. There's no way that I'm going to lose her now. Geet, I'm coming for you."

"Geet, how do you know MK?" Pinky asks into the mirror from where she can see Geet.
"I... I don't." Geet says before she remembers the way she felt when she was with him. "Or atleast, I don't think I do." She answers now unsure.
"You must really mean something to MK that he was that close to you." answers Pinky.
"Maybe." says Geet in a low voice, before resting her head back on the headrest.

"Hello, Ms. Geet." the doctor answers when Geet and Pinky enter through the door. "Hi, Pinky."
"Hi." answers Pinky chirply.
"Hello, doctor." answers Geet more seriously.
"Feeling any better?" asks Geet to the doctor.
"I think so. I mean, I'm starting to remember quite alot more things. And just recently I found out that, I wasn't born here. I'm actually from Hoshiarpur. So, I was thinking that maybe I haven't been feeling any better lately is because I'm not in the right place. Will my going to Hoshiarpur help?" Geet inquires.
"Well, it'll depend. Because you don't have to be in Hoshiarpur to rememeber everything. Some incidents, or even some people that you encounter with, could trigger your memory again." explains the doctor. "But if you believe that by your going to Hoshiarpur could help, then you should go. Just in case, anything happens, I want you to call me right away. Okay."
"Yes, doctor. Thank you."
Geet and Pinky leave the doctor's office and go towards the car. Pinky stands by the driver's side before getting in.
"Now, what are you going to do Geet?" asks Pinky.
"Now, I'm going to Hoshiarpur. To get back everything that I lost." Says Geet happily. "And there's no one who can stop me."

Dadi ma looks on in wonder, seeing her grandson pack his bags in such a rush.
"Maan, what are you doing?" she asks.
"Dadi ma, can't you see? I'm packing." He takes out a bunch of shirts, pants and ties and throws them into his suitcase.
"Yes, I can see that but why?" she inquires.
"Because I saw her Dadi ma." He goes over to her and holds her by the shoulders. "Dadi ma, you were right. I can't let her go. And you know what? She came to me Dadi ma! She came in my office looking for me! And she left with a smile!" He lets go of his grandmother. "But when we met, she was unable to recognize me." He says sadly before putting a smile on his face. "But just you watch. I'm gonna get her back Dadi ma. I'm going to Hoshiarpur and this time I'm going to bring her back." He picks up a photo frame of Geet and him, hugging and smiling each other. "And there's no one who can stop me."
