lol aww thanks, im glad u liked it enough to not realize when the part came to an end... but im trying n each part is longer than the last so i guess that is an achievement 😆 n im glad u liked AR's meeting, i wasnt sure if u guys would like it or not

Hi, im sorry for confusing alot of you guys last time. So basically Riddhima didnt recognize him because of the paint on his face and it just hasnt hit Armaan yet that he knows this girl from before, he is just too shocked with the paint right now. Also Nikki didnt tell either one that the other would be present in her apartment as well.... Hope that clears any confusions, and if ur still confused after this part, please ask me again and i'll try to explain... so here is the next part:

PART 7

While Armaan and Riddhima were staring each other down, they heard a panicked scream.

Everyone's attention went to Muskaan who was standing with her hands covering her eyes and jumping as if she had seen a ghost. Within a few seconds common sense returned to her and her screaming came to a halt when she realized that the guy with the white face isn't a ghost but probably has paint on his face.

Nikki asked Muskann with raised eyebrows the reason for her panicked reaction, and Muskaan slowly pointed at Armaan, still not fully convinced that the white face was a result of paint and not some supernatural trait.

Nikki chuckled at Muskaan's childish behavior and said, "Muskaan that's Armaan, Riddhima accidentally painted his face instead of the wall."

"Nikki, I'" she stopped defending herself when the she realized that Nikki had mentioned Armaan. Riddhima looked at Armaan intently, trying to remove the white mask through her piercing gaze and seek confirmation that this guy was the Armaan from high school, the guy she had a crush on for only god knows how many years.

She looked questioningly at Nikki and asked in a low whisper, "Nikki? Is this my Armaan?... I mean the Armaan from my high school?"

In all this time Armaan was examining Riddhima's appearance and suddenly the name Riddhima and her familiar face clicked and he yelled, "Oh wow, Riddhima!?"

"Nikki is this the same Riddhima from high school? Your best friend?"

As they both stared at each other, this time with the knowledge of who the other was, Nikki came forward and answered, "Yes Riddhima, and yes Armaan, we all went to the same high school, and used to be good friends."

While Nikki was grinning, Armaan had a pleasant smile on his face for finding a long lost friend, whereas Riddhima's brain was working very fast, trying to believe and understand what was staring at her.

He is Armaan?.... Why didn't Nikki tell me?.... What is he doing here?... Does he go to this college as well?... Is he still with that cheerleader from high school?... Ughh, never mind I don't really care, I'm over him, he was a high school crush, but I guess we can still be friends, and im sure Nikki purposely didn't tell me about him because she wanted to see me all confused and unsure of my feelings when I saw Armaan unexpectedly. Gosh this girl, I'll get back to her later.

Nikki was expecting some explosion and fireworks when Armaan and Riddhima met, which is why she hadn't told them about each others constant presence in her life. She was really disappointed when all Riddhima said after finding out about Armaan's identity was, "Hey, wow we really didn't stay in touch after high school, but how are you?"

Armaan gave her a friendly hug and said, "I can't believe we are meeting after all these years, I'm fine how have you been, and are you the friend that Nikki said is transferring here?"

"Yup, that's me," Riddhima smiled and was glad to meet another person in this town whom she knew.

While Armaan and Riddima sat down and talked about the transition from high school to college and the changes in their lives, Nikki sat glumly in a corner with Abhi. She whispered quietly enough so only Abhi could hear her, "How boring, I thought their meeting would be more interesting and exciting, because Armaan genuinely asked me about Riddhima over the years, and Riddhima used to like him in high school, I thought there might be more chemistry when they met."

Abhi smiled and ruffled Nikki's hair and said, "What did you expect, some romantic song in the background, wind blowing, and the instant Armaan and Riddhima set their eyes on one another they would run into each other's arms and say 'I love you!'?"

Nikki rolled her eyes, "No I didn't think that but I was hoping they would accept or realize their attraction for each other, instead these two are sitting and talking about crazy professors they've had in college."

"See, aren't you glad im your boyfriend, at least I don't talk about professors with you, and you have to admit im more romantic than those two friends of yours sitting over there."

Nikki smiled, "Abhi you are so modest, aren't you?"

They both laughed and continued their talk about more exciting stuff than college professors.

"Armaan yaar please go wash your face, the white paint gives me a heart attack every time I see it," Muskaan complained as she walked over to the kitchen table where Armaan and Riddhima were catching up on each others lives.

Muskaan's comment reminded them of how they met, and they both started laughing this time instead of giving dirty looks.

"Sure Muski, I think it's a good idea that I go clean myself up, I really would be disappointed if you got a heart attack out of fear from looking at my face instead of being in awe. I'm sure many have passed out seeing this gorgeous face."

"Why did I think you had changed? You are still the same conceited guy from high school," Riddhima said rolling her eyes.

"Me? Conceited, how could you?" He wiped away the fake tears, and looked at Riddhima with an equally fake hurt expression.

"Oye, acting seekhni hai to mere paas roz aaya kar. If you watch a Bollywod movie with me daily, you'll pick up on some acting skills and wont look as pathetic as you are looking right now," Muskaaan patted Armaan's back and hi-fived Riddhima.

"Girls," Armaan sighed and headed to clean himself up in the bathroom.

"Can someone help me clean this bathroom," Armaan yelled from the bathroom. Riddhima heard him whining and grabbing a sponge headed towards the bathroom.

"Hi," she said grinning at Armaan leaning against the sink.

He was staring at the paint on the tiles hoping that his intense gaze would somehow make the paint disappear and he wouldn't have to clean it up. Though Armaan had been fending for himself for the past many years, cleaning bathrooms was still the one thing that he absolutely despised. Even though he didn't have to actually clean the whole bathroom but only had to wipe off the paint stain from the tiles, he had an annoyed look on his face. He would have just got down to the task and wiped the floor quickly to get done with it, but Riddhima's comment and his dislike of cleaning made him react a little differently.

"Uh, yea hi again, thanks for helping me clean this."

"Um, im not cleaning that mess, here is the sponge and im sure the paint will come off if you clean it properly," Riddhima smiled to herself knowing Armaan's composed attitude would blast any second.

"What?! Why aren't you helping me clean this, I agree you aren't a stranger anymore but that doesn't mean this mess wasn't your fault. If you aren't cleaning then im not either! I was trying to be nice and help clean the mess that was your fault, but you know what, here is your sponge," Armaan put the sponge she'd given her back in her hand and was about to stomp out of the bathroom when he heard Riddhima laughing.

"Oh Armaan you really are the same, I was just messing with you, and don't worry I wasn't going to make you clean the bathroom anyways, calm down dude," Riddhima said laughing at the sight of the frustrated Armaan that she had just witnessed.

"Fine," Armaan said in a slightly bitter tone, he didn't like being laughed at, and the prospect of having to clean a mess he hadn't even been responsible for was still looming in his head.

Riddhima was shaking her head at his antics when she heard a loud thud. Turning around she saw that Armaan had tripped over the paint roller that he himself had brought and left outside the bathroom when Riddhima had fallen on top of him.

Seeing Riddhima laugh at his condition made him smile slightly. He surprised himself by noticing for the first time that Riddhima had such a cute and childish laugh. As he was about to notice her other features realization struck him that he was on the floor indirectly because of her too. So after giving Riddhima a weak dirty look he got up from the floor and walked into the living room.

"Hey Armaan did the camera arrive yet," Muskaan asked Armaan during lunch whether the camera she had ordered online arrived at his apartment.

"No."

"Are you sure? Fall is here and im dying to take some nice photographs, that idiot Rahul ruined my other camera and its been more than a week since I had placed an order for another one," Muskaan whined.

Seeing Armaan not paying any heed and just munching on his lunch with an angry look on his face Muskaan turned to converse with Riddhima instead.

"So Riddhima how is your bathroom turning out, I can't wait to see how the whole apartment looks once we're done with it," Muskaan gushed excitedly.

Riddhima almost choked on her water when Muskaan mentioned the 'bathroom.'

"The bathroom is turning out great Muskaan, right Armaan?" Riddhima accidentally kicked Armaan's foot under the table and received an angry glare from the man in return. "I mean you've seen the bathroom, so maybe you can tell Muskaan how great it looks now," Riddhima suggested innocently.

"Yeah whatever it's ok, not too great," then loosing his angry young man look, Armaan smiled and continued, "actually im not surprised that you've done a not so great job painting the bathroom Riddhima, after all such things aren't easy for girls to do right?"

Riddhima glared at him, she wasn't a crazy feminist like Nikki, but she wasn't too happy when men tried to undermine her abilities and make judgments on her because of her gender.

"You know what Armaan you're right, we girls are intellectually superior than you guys which is why we leave all the physical labor for you to handle. You see, we're nice enough to let you slide and not burden you with more complex activities which require the use of a brain," Riddhima pointed her fingers towards her head, and looked at Armaan with the expression one uses when trying to teach little kids the difference between an apple and an orange.

"Ha ha you're so funny," Armaan said sarcastically, he was about to get back to Riddhima when his phone rang. Signaling Riddhima for a brief pause in the conversation Armaan left the table.

As Muskaan and Riddhima finished lunch Muskaan asked, "Arre tu kyun aise smile kar rahi hai, that is the smile I have whenever I watch a SRK movie."

Riddhima shook her head at a curious Muskaan indicating no special reason for her smile. Just then Armaan walked in and said that he had to go meet someone. Riddhima's smile faltered a little but then Armaan said, "We will finish this conversation next time," he winked at Riddhima and left the apartment.
