Nandini just nodded…as she reached the room… she felt mixture of emotions…its been years she has talked with her MOM…somewhere nandini held her MOM responsible for everything happened if only her MOM wud have been strong enough to fight it out with Mr. Dixit…if not fight out atleast she shud have supported her daughter instead of Mr. Dixit her so called husband…she wants to angry with her MOM but cant be as she knows MOM also suffered equally …but somewhere her past experience , ego & pride stopped nandini to share the natural warmth of a mother & daughter… no matter how much she tries she will never be able to do it…
Nandini was in dilemma to take the step backward & wait for Charu to arrive & let her be with her MOM…
Taking a deep breath she entered inside…something inside her was really stopping her…somewhere she felt her mom wud not like her presence… she was abt to turn back & go out when...
Sushant—Nandini ji…aap yaha come on in..
Nandini(surprised)—aap? Yahan?
Sushant (laughing) –ab aap bhi Raj ki tarah mat poochiega what I am doing here…😆😆
Nandini just smiled—nahi…its just …kal aap nahi the, it was Dr. Verma …
Sushant—oh yes...actually dr. verma abhi surgery mein busy hain so I am just filling in for him…
Nandini—Oh!...(looked at her Mom ….but ignored surprised reaction on seeing her here) ermmm hope she is fine…
Sushant—Ofcourse Absolutely fine, infact progress has been good…agar aap chahe toh kal hi inhe ghar le ja sakti hai…but need to be a little careful… jitna zyada rest karengi it will be good…
Nandini nodding—yeahh…
Sushant—I need to go aap dono baat kijiye…baki ka brief aapko dr. verma kar denge as soon as he is free… (Nandini just nodded) cya later…
As soon as sushant left…It was an uncomfortable silence…
Nandini (breaking the silence)—ermmm who…aap theek hai…? (her Mom just nodded)who main…actually charu apne medical camp pe hai…toh usse contact nahi ho pa raha tha… & shayad ussne next contact person mein mera naam diya tha…toh hospital ne mujhe inform kar diya… (after a long silence) ermm kuch chaiye toh main bahar hi hoon…(she turned to go)
Mom—abhi tak naraz hai mujhse?
Nandini turned back—naraz? Kisliye…(sarcastically) hum naraz unse hote hai…jinse hum koi umeed rakhte hai…aur who insaan us umeed ko pura na kar sake…aur maine logon se umeed rakhna chod diya hai… meri baat na aaj tak aapne mani hai…na aage manegi…maine yeh sach except kar liya hai…& I am completely OK with it…
Mom—beta who..
Nandini—plz…mujhe koi explaination nahi chaiye…aapse sirf ek baat kehni hai…ki plzz aage se aisa kuch bhi mat kariega…is baar aap lucky rahi ki malti sahi waqt pe kaam pe aagayi aur usne aapko hospital pahuncha diya… aapki zindagi se kai zindgiyan judi hai…aapko kya lagta hai…aapke marne se sab ki problems solve ho jayengi…aapne ek baar apne ma baap ke bare mein nahi socha, apne bhai ke bare mein bhi nahi…aur charu…uska kya hoga? (she turned away to hide her tears)
Mom(feeling little guilty)—who main…I am sorry…
Nandini laughed—sorry, dats wonderful…& mujhse sorry kehne se kya hoga? Anyways, I really hope aap dobara aisa kuch nahi karengi…mere liya na sahi but atleast charu ke liye…she really needs u…who chahe mere kitne bhi kareeb ho, main chahe uska kitna hi khayal rakhu…who emotionally aap par dependent hai…who aap mein apna pura parivaar dekhti hai…aise karke aap usse itna kamzor mat banaiye ki zindagi ki mushkilo ka samna karne ke bajai…ek din who bhi aapki tarah kuch kar baithe…Uske liye aur kuch nahi…uski takat baniye taki atleast uska toh rishto par vishwas bana rahe…(nandini didn't whether she shud feel sorry or angry on her Mom) aap…
When they were interrupted by Raj…
Raj—Nandini tumhara phone…baar baar…it was ringing…
Nandini wiped her tears turned back—oh! Thanx (taking her cell …it was charu…informing she wud be back by tomorrow)
Nandini(to her mom)—charu kal tak aajayegi…aur (her mom just nodded…seeing her mom looking at Raj questioningly)…ermm yeh Raj hai…hum log delhi mein mile the…yeh yaha kisi kaam se aaye the so he stayed back… (after formal introduction Raj fell into normal conversation with Nandini's mom enquiring abt her health)
A little while later Dr. Verma arrived…informing that mom can be discharged by tomorrow…also explaining all details to nandini.
Nandini- thank you so much... & aap yeh sab aaki intern doctor charu ko samjha dijiyega…afterall she will be taking care of her.
Dr.Verma—Oh don't worry, charu is quite intelligent herself…who hongi toh it will be really good… but aap bhi jab tak yaha hai take care of her.
Nandini—sure…
As Dr. Verma left…her mom interrupted
Mom—tum kal hi wapis jaogi? Thode din
Nandini interrupted—main nahi ruk sakti…aur waise bhi kal tak charu aa jaegi who aapka zyada khayal rakh paegi…
Raj—Tum sach mein kal hi wapis jaogi?
Nandini—maine shayad abhi abhi yahi kaha if u didn't heard it right …
Raj—haan par, its…
Nandini—tum kyun nahi samajh rahe….(a little fed up) main nahi ruk sakti…(calming a little) I mean main achanak aagayi thi…toh maine leave bhi nahi li…&
Raj—so, its just Friday tomorrow so in any case kal toh tum waise bhi nahi jaogi..& I don't think school opens on sat-sun…
Nandini-still main…( she was interrupted with her cell ringing …she immediately passed on to her mom since it was Jai, she knew he wanted to talk with her) Mamu aapse hi baat karna chahte hai..(& Nandini moved out of the room)
As her Mom talked with jai…Raj cud sense her mom really wanted nandini to stay back
As he also came out looking for her…Raj tried to convince nandini to stay back…
Raj—tum kal hi kyun ja rahi… it's a weekend &
Nandini—Raj behas karna bekaar hai… tum ache se jante ho main nahi ruk sakti…mujhse yeh sab handle nahi hota…main jitna mom se door rahungi it will be good for her…na kabhi who meri baat samjhengi na main…unki..so its good we stay away …
Raj—acha theek hai, unke liye nahi mere liye toh ruk sakti ho…mujhe Sunday ko wapis jana hai toh saath mein chalenge…ek hi jagah jana hai toh alag alag kyun jaye….
Nandini shocked—Raj Sunday…main yahan ek din nahi ruk rahi & tum…
Raj—yeahh Sunday tak …& u are reacting jaise Sunday saal bhar baad aaega… do din baad aajaega…
Nandini—Raj…tum…
Raj—ya tum kisi aur wajah se nahi rukna chahti…😉
Nandini(confused) –kisi aur wajah se matlab?😕
Raj(teasing)—yeahh!! Ab agar tum mere saath rukogi…toh tumhe mujhse baar baar sach chupana padega…& may be tumhe sach accept karna pade…so obviously tumhe dar toh lagega hi…
Nandini gaped at him open mouthed-- U are impossible Raj…mere wapis jane ki sirf ek hi wajah hai..baki tumhe jo samjhna hai tum samjho… (she left from there…although somewhere she wanted to go far away from all this to sort out her feelings & also she can think abt something to come out of this…she thot if she will stay away from Raj for a while she will be able to think better)
Later in the day …Nandini had a chat with Jai, he also advised him to stay back…making her understand it will be good... Nandini also informed him abt Raj being here.
Next day
Charu arrived from her camp…felt little sad for what happened…but nandini took care of her & calmed her down.
A while later when Raj came back …nandini introduced her to Raj…& charu being a chatter box… instantly bonded with him & Raj too found Charu quite cute & bubbly by nature…a complete opposite of nandini. But she was as sweet as her.
Charu felt something b/w her di & her friend… she cud sense…a change in her di…which she easily pin point & also to somewhat the reason also. Her di has been more smiling more cheerful than she always been.
Around evening Nandini's Mom was discharged…as they reached home…Nandini settled her mom in the room…as she came back in lounge when she saw Raj still standing there with bag
Nandini—yeh sab kya hai Raj ?😕
Raj—mujhe toh bag lag raha hai…
Nandini—thanx 4 info mujhe nahi pata tha😡…but I meant yeh
Raj—mera samaan😛
Nandini (confused)—tumhara samaan ?
Raj—Haan, tumse poochna bekar hai… (seeing charu passing by ) Urrmmm Charu dear…maine apna samaan kahaan rakhoon?😛😛
Nandini (shocked)—what? 😲
Raj—itna chillane ki kya zarut hai… I can hear very well…😆

Raj—matlab… yeh …ki charu ki kal ek presentation hai…for which usko taiyaari karni hai ab who bechari agar tumhari help karegi ya apni presentation…ki taiyaari…
Nandini—par mujhe help nahi chaiye… I will manage…&
Raj -- tumhe nahi chaiye par charu ko toh chaiye… (pointing to charu) see who haan keh rahi hai….
Nandini—arrrggghh…😡 tum yahan nahi reh sakte & its final…
Raj(coming closer) Kyun? Darrti ho mujhse…. 😉
Nandini moved back—dar tumse 😕😕 main kyun darungi…I mean
Raj-- Toh apne aapse darr rahi ho😉
Nandini moved more back-- Main…Main… kyun darungi…
Raj walking over--Tum darrti ho 😛… kahin…(whispers)…kahin dil ki baat zubaan par na aajaye issiliye…kahin tum mujhe dost se zyaada na maan ne lago…haina?😉😉
Nandini remined silent …& turned her face away…as it becomes impossible to argue with him…when he sees like that…
Seeing Nandini not still accepting… chau interrupted….
Charu-Di…let him stay…plzz… aap akele kaise sab manage karengi…😕
Nandini---charu tum bhi…

Nandini(sighed) –fine 😡…itna emotional blackmail ki zarut nahi hai…
Nandini went back to her room…the more she tried to run away from him…more closer he came…(she sighed)
