Part 20 [Final part]

Thanks Dolly for the wonderful banner. A big hug from me 🤗

(Haan to sab jagah khush hali hai. Every one is happy, they have their regular dose of emotional scenes too [mostly mummyji does that], followed by exasperated expresions from their daddyji.)

Hmm. Life was full of happiness now.

After so many years, I felt peace, calm and relaxed.

We had shifted to the mansion and quietly returned everything to the people we had conned. Of course, we were only too happy to do that.

As per the documents, we were the legal heirs to the companies. I had protested saying that it was Riddhima, Atul and Muskaan's hardwork and dedication which had brought the companies to where they were today.

But as usual, Riddhima surprised me with yet another shade of her life.

She was not a businesswoman. She was a doctor. A Gynaecologist.

I remember my reaction clearly when she had told me that.

"How..can...I mean...you doctor?"

She laughed seeing my expression.

"Yes Armaan, I'm very much a doctor. I practised it partially in the last few years owing to being the CEO of Globalmay. I used to keep updated myself with the latest news and all.And now that you all are back, we can peacefully resume our duties."

"We?"

She chuckled.

"Atul and Muskaan too are doctors. Atul is a cardiologist whereas Muskaan is a Neurologist."

I didn't know how to react.

I looked over to Anjie and Rahul. Their faces were completely composed. They had told me everything that had conspired between them that night. I was angry initially thinking that they had kept such a big secret from me.

This was another secret they hadn't told me.

They smiled sheepishly in my direction and then apologised.

Preparations for the weddings

Haldi

As we all lived in the same house, the functions were going to take place there itself, only in different rooms.

I chuckled anticipating everyone including guest' reaction to this. Imagine aaplying haldi to the bride then rushing off to the groom. But since it also included elderly people, we decided that we all would sit in the same room, with a curtain separating the brides from the grooms.

I couldn't see Riddhima. The curtain was made of thick fabric.

Grrr. I could only hear her voice. She was begging someone not to apply too much of haldi. The person replied,

"Arre! It will be good. Your skin will look fresh n it will shine. Hayye! You are already looking so beautiful, I wonder how jeeju will be able to keep his eyes off you during the wedding."

I smiled at that. It was true. I could never keep my eyes off her. I had fallen for her the first day itself. It took all of my focus to concentrate on my work. But I could never confess that.

That day, when she let out her feelings for me, I could no longer hold myself. I confessed everything to her. I confessed that I too had fallen for her on the first day. While reading a file, I would sneek glances at her.

When she was beating those goons black and blue, even though I was shocked, I was having an anxiety attack all the time. There was always a fear, that she might do something to her owing to her workaholic ways. Thats why I use to keep a tab at her. When she eats her food, if she has a headache she takes a tablet or no, if she didn't I would give it to her like the first time I did. But everytime, it wasn't me who gave her directly. Sometimes I just used to keep it for her on the table or sometimes send someone with the tablet.

And she could never guess who it was. She was always so tensed that she barely paid attention who was giving her the medicine. She would just thank the person and gulp it down quickly.

"Oye! Come out of your dreamland. You can think of bhabhi later." Rahul shook me out of my reverie.

It was fun. I had never been to weddings, my own wedding was the first occasion where I came to know about the various functions that are held and the amount of fun everyone has during the weddings.

Sangeet n mehendi

Ok, these are ladies' functions. But no one could keep us out of them.

We entered through the window and did full nautanki, a la Salmaan Khan from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.

Though the ladies' appeared to be angr at us, we knew that they couldn't resist having four handsome hunks there.

Four? Yeah. Me, Rahul, Atul and Abhimanyu.

Nikki's marriage was arranged on the same day as us all.

Abhimanyu didn't have a family. His parents were successful business people who had left him when he was doing his internship. Thats why even he had all the functions with the rest of the grooms.

It is a custom that the brides have to show their mehendi to their grooms and the grooms have to search for their names. It was quite easy, coz it was we who had written our names on our respective brides' palms.

Wedding

Ahh! The D-day arrived.

The house was full of hustle and bustle. We could only hear them since we were not allowed to go out of the house. Darn! I wanted to buy something for Riddhima.

"Yaar! I want to buy something for Nikki. She will scream my head off if I don't get something for her." Abhi said.

"Yeah! Muskaan too. She will eat my head or worse, will chase me all over the room with her pillows to hit me. She always does that if I don't do something she pleases." Rahul complained.

I was surprised as to why Atul was quiet. He was leaning against the wall and had closed his eyes.

The whole scenario looked like we were some criminals and we were held hostage in a room.

"Yes! I got it." Atul jumped.

"I got it. We can get out of the house and get somethings for our wives. We are technically in Armaan's room. Next to Armaan's room is Rahul's room to the right and to the left is my room. From our corridor, the stairs which go down also go towards the kitchen. There is a backdoor there. we can go out from there."

"Atul, you think there isn't anyone in the kitchen?" I asked.

"Armaan! The guests and the peolple in the house are too busy to see who is coimg in or going out. We can go in the kitchen on the pretext of drinking water or something and sneek out quietly. In the same way we can come in."

We looked at each other. Apparently, we weren't convinced with the plan.

"Ok. We'll go through there. But if someone asks we can say that we are going to my house since we have nothing to do here."

"Through the kitchen backdoor?" Rahul asked.

"Yeah, coz it is a shorcut from there." I completed the plan.

Perfect!

As expected, we were asked and when we gave the reason, they were pretty convinced.

Abhi got a makeup kit for Nikki. Said she loved them.

Atul got the Twilight Saga for Anjali. Even he knew she is crazy for them.

Rahul got stuffed toys for Muskaan. She loved them and has a collection of them.

I got a red saree for Riddhima. I loved red colour and knew she would lok breath taking in it.

We got home after visiting Abhi's place. It was a beautiful house. Full of Abhi and Nikki's pics.

Soon we changed and got ready. The wedding was going to take place on the lawn.

We sat in the mandap and waited for our brides.

With faint sound of the anklets we turned to see them.

I almost forgot to breathe. Riddhima looked mesmerizing. She looked up and met my gaze.

I couldn't blink. She blushed and looked down.

I wasn't aware of what was happening. I just kept smiling and continued the rituals in a daze.

No one cried. Not even Nikki. She stayed close by and could visit whenever she liked.

Other girls did not a reason to cry. We were all staying in the same house.

Though mom and dad said that we could live in our own house, we put our feet down. We wanted to stay there itself. The others couldn't agree more.

When we entered our room, I clasped Riddima's hand and said,

"Thank you Riddhima. For being in my life. For every way you tried to bring mom-dad and us together. It is because of you that I Met Me. Thank you Riddhima."

It was a beginning of a new life. A new world and a world full of love, care and warmth.

Ok, so I'm going to clear out all the confusion as to how the Mallik children got kidnapped. The parents do nt kniw while the kids don't remember anything.

When the ball went far off, Armaan ran after it, Rahul went behind him and Anjali followed the suit after saying that no one should come after them. Armaan found the ball in a secluded and dark corner. But it was too late, a few men saw three kids alone, made them smell choloform and carried them to the place where the kids who are abandoned or are found alone were brought. They brain washed them. The kids couldn't remember their parents or their siblings or anything. They only learnt what they were taught and entered the con world.

This was how it all happened. Later they even went to Oxford with their savings and got the degree of MBA.

Amazing end yaar ... though m very sad dat its the last part ... bt it was really sweet ... esp AR bits ... i have been alwaz waiting for AR moments and m glad that no matter only a bit bt dere moments occupied this part..

You again gave a shock in dis one .. i mean ridz was a doctor 😲...i cud actually imagine armaan's reaction coz me myself was damn shocked .. wat ana amazing gal she is ... 😳

Truly, loved your concept gal .. I wish you all d best for ur results n studies ahead ...

Please come up with more new FFs... dnt be worried ..m sure u ll manage it with studies ...atleast give it a try.........😃
