So sorry for the awfully late and SHORT update! But I am having my exams. Some were easy and some were hard =/ Anyways my exams will finish this Friday so after that be ready for some quick and long updates ;)

Here it is - Chapter 15 😃

The next morning was calm and bright. Some light rays escaped the curtains and landed on Riddhima's face. The bright light made her turn left and right ; annoying her so she finally gave up and opened her gorgeous big eyes. She tried yawning while stretching her arms, but she realized she couldn't move one of her arm. She glanced down and saw Armaan sleeping on her hand. At first she thought she was dreaming but when she rubbed her eyes with the other good hand, he was still in front of her.

What on Earth is he doing HERE? Who let him come in? But...How long was he here for? I mean...He's like sleeping...? Whatever, not my problem... He decided to come here... Why should I care? Exactly...

She tried moving her hand away, sending a frown across his forehead.

" Atul... One minute more...Please...Let me sleep!" he groaned.

Riddhima smiled at him because he was just adorable. She had never seen him so childish before. However, as he was sleeping on her fractured arm, it was starting to hurt her despite all her efforts to bear the pain.

Suddenly someone knocked on the door -

* KNOCK KNOCK *

Armaan quickly woke up in shock and found Riddhima in front of her. Not wanting to meet her questioning eyes, he looked down ; trying to escape from him killing gaze. To his surprise, he saw how his hand was locked with her 'fractured' one. He quickly let go of it and turned around.

Oh no... What have you done NOW...? You took her fractured arm and slept on it?! Are you out of your mind? How much more pain do you want to cause her?!??! You fool...

" Hello Ms.Riddhima! How are you feeling now?" asked Dr.Abhi.
Armaan stood up and made his way near the window so that Dr.Abhi could examine her.

" I'm fine..." she lied.

Her words made Armaan jerk. He quickly stared into her eyes from the distance ; asking her why did she lie. She tried to look away instead.

" Hmm... After examining your hand, it doesn't seem so Ms. Riddhima. What have you been doing lately? It looks like either you have carried something really heavy or as though something heavy was placed on your arm for quite a long time..."

Yeah Riddhima...Way to go... Why even bother to lie to a DOCTOR?? Uff...Now what do I say?

" Uhmm...It's..Uh..."

" It's alright. You don't have to tell me if you don't feel like it. But please, I am your Doctor and you have to do as I say. From now on please take care of your arm if you want to be discharged earlier. I'll take your leave now."

As he went away from the door, co-incidently Atul, Sapna, Muskaan and Rahul entered.

What are they doing here? And how did they know I was here...Did Sanskar?...

" Hey Miss! How are you? We all missed you so much!" Muskaan walked to her bed and gave her a hug.

" Awh.. I'm fine thanks. What a pleasant surprise to see you all here."

" Oh, actually we are not here for long since we have our classes." Sapna said.

" Yeah, we're just here to bring you and Armaan some food." Atul added while he placed some bags onto the table.

" Armaan, dude. Please DO eat something since you haven't eaten anything from last night. Take care bro." Rahul said.

What?... Armaan didn't eat anything since last night?

" Sure thanks."

" Okay we all should go now, see you later!" they said one last time as Armaan escorted them to the door.

When he turned around, Riddhima was again looking into his eyes with the same intensity.

" Why? Why Armaan?"

" What do you mean?" he said as he sat next to her bed.

" You know very well. Why are you here? And what do you want to prove?"

" I don't want to prove anything. I'm just here because I want to rectify my mistake."

" And you think by not eating anything you can do that? How do you think I feel after knowing that you were here the whole night, taking care of me, trying to fix your mistake...All this just makes me feel guilty!"

" Riddhima, there is no need for you to feel guilty. After all it was MY mistake..."

" I know... And that's what makes me feel so weird. Even though it was your mistake, your fault...I just don't know why I can't be angry at you for so long!"

" Riddhima the food is getting cold we should start eating."

" Shut up Armaan!" she pouted ; looking so cute even though she was angry and annoyed at his comment.

" Armaan this is serious! And I don't care if the food is getting cold. But I really need to find the answers to my questions...I just have to get rid of this feeling!" she closed her eyes.

" Look Riddhima... You can close your eyes to things you don't want to see, but you can't close your heart to things you don't want to feel. Closing your eyes won't solve anything..."

She opened her eyes and looked at him while he was busy organizing the food.

Why does he have to make me feel this way? Oh god...

" Riddhima this feeling is yours, and all the questions are yours. It is your job to find the answers to these questions.. By the way it shouldn't be that hard for you Ms. Life Education teacher!" he laughed.

" Oh please Armaan. You made me feel something I have never felt like before..."

Her words were echoing in his mind. He was feeling so light all of a sudden ; like he could fly or something.

" Here is your soup!" he gave her.

She tried picking up the spoon, but it just fell in the bowl again. Her hand was too weak for that right now.

" Ufff! Now I have to even FEED you?! Oh god Riddhima... I feel like a dad taking care of you... Poor guys...So much to just rectify their mistakes.."

" Armaan!" she pouted again.

" Please don't make that face... You know you could kill a million people with that..." he whispered to himself.

" Huh? Whaaaat? Did you say something?"

" Yeah I said have your soup! Here!" he said while feeding her the soup.

" Eww... This is so tasteless! I am not SICK! Why did they bring me this soup?" she said ; disgusted.

" You do realize I have to eat this too? So stop complaining and quickly have some." he ordered while feeding her another spoonful.

They were happily talking to each other again and they both were glad that they didn't drag the mistake part for so long. They both were mature enough to let the matter stay in the past and get over it. After all they would get nothing by being mad at each other. Instead, they were slowly building a new bond between them which was of friendship.

Suddenly a knock interrupted their laughter -

* KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK *

It was definitely NOT just 'a' knock. Someone was definitely impatient and eager to come in.
