Inder," Mr.Bansal, please call Ayesha to my cabin." he asked his p.a.
After few minutes Ayesha arrived to his cabin and saw Inder was talking to someone on his phone. Seeing Ayesha, he nodded her to come in and she took a seat. After conversing for the next 10 minutes, he finally kept down the phone.
Inder," Ayesha, I've called you to know about the progress on that MUN Multinational Proposal." he asked seriously.
Ayesha," It's almost complete Dad, in fact I was going to present it in today's Board Meeting and after that we can discuss its reviews." she said showing him the documents.
Inder," Good, then I think the Board Members must have arrived by now. Let's go to the meeting." he said getting up and Ayesha followed him.
Inder," Ayesha, by the way who is going to represent our company in the conference?" he asked on his way.
Ayesha," Dad, since the conference is going to be held in Mumbai only next week, and you also are going to Egypt for a month, so I will be going to represent our company, in fact I have submitted my name too."
Inder,"Hmmmm'. I think you are right, so on my behalf you are going to represent our company."
Ayesha," Yes Dad and tomorrow we are going to submit the proposal."
Inder," All right, let's go in." and both went to the meeting room.
"Switch on the lights." and it was followed by a thunderous applause from all the members present in the room.
"Good job, Mr. Neev Shergill." said the members.
"I think Misher Company is definitely going to win this MUN Proposal." said one of the members.
It was followed by a number of congratulations and applause to Neev and Milind. At last when all the members exited the room, only Milind and Neev were left.
Milind," Neevu, you have done a tremendous job man. No one will be able to beat our proposal." he said slapping his back.
Neev," Thanks Milind but don't give the whole credit to me, you too have equally worked hard and Rohit also had helped me in designing the slides."
Milind," Ya man but a big credit goes to you. I am sure this MUN Multinational Proposal will be won by our company only."
Neev,"I have worked quiet hard on this proposal but yet one company is there which can beat us." he said in a serious tone.
Milind," Which company?" he asked frowning.
Neev," I don't exactly remember the name but the person who is going to represent it, her name is Ayesha Shah."
Milind," Ayesha Shah'.. I think I heard this name before'.. Recently only but."
Neev," You have heard this name'. But where?" he asked quickly.
Milind," I can't remember, but I think I have heard it somewhere'. Anyways forget it, I have recommended your name and you are going to represent our company." he said arranging the files.
Neev," Ok and what about the tickets."
Milind," Neev the conference is next week and your tickets will arrive tomorrow. All arrangements have been done regarding your stay there and come back fast from Mumbai." and with that both went out to finalize the last papers needed before the conference.
Days passed with its own speed but it appeared very slow for Prachi. For her it seems as if the time had stopped in its place. Always she appears lost and occupied with her thoughts and now even Swati has also stopped asking her about her distraction.
But she was not the only one going through that phase, even Milind was accompanying her. His behavior totally changed after that morning incident. In every moment of his day only Prachi's face revolves around his mind. He was not able to control his inner feeling which craves for Prachi's attention but when she is near him, he doesn't show any interest for her but when alone his thoughts are only occupied by her.
Both were in same condition but were not ready to accept what they were experiencing. The changes Prachi had developed since her arrival to Shimla, the change of mood Milind was experiencing since their first meet, the feeling both of them were developing for each other'''. They were just not ready to accept that their innocent friendship was slowly turning into LOVE''.. But time doesn't remain same every time, it changes with each passing second and it will only show both of them what they are missing by not understanding the language of their heart.
"All members kindly note, only 15 minutes are left for the conference to start." it was announced to all the members who were present in the lobby.
Neev," Milind, the announcement has been made. Only 15 minutes left for the conference to begin. I am getting very tensed." he said sweating.
Milind," Chill Dude, no need to get tensed up, otherwise you will spoil up the whole thing. Just concentrate on your presentation and I know you will surely win this project." he said making him all relaxed.
Ayesha," Dad, the conference is going to start in 15 minutes. I've to talk to some delegates so I am going." she was talking to Inder.
Inder,"Ok, Best of Luck for the conference and win and come. Dad loves you."
Ayesha," Bye Dad, and thanks for your wishes."
Neev," Ok Milind, I'll call you later' Right now I need a cup of hot coffee to compose my mind and I'm going to get that."
Milind," Bye and Best of Luck." and with that both Neev and Ayesha kept their phone down.
Neev was going towards the Coffee Processor while Ayesha was coming towards him from his right.
"Mr. Shergill." someone called him and in haste he turned only to collide with Ayesha.
Neev," Oh! I am so sorry." he said and bent down to pick up his file.
Ayesha "Never mind." she said not looking at him, and both went to their direction without at once looking back.
Minutes elapsed into hours and finally after 2 hours, the conference came to an end.
"All the proposals were fantastic but we have shortlisted two proposals which we think is the best and, that is the proposal from Misher Companies and Shah Companies. Therefore we request all the delegates to wait for few minutes and in the meantime we will decide who is going to get this proposal." saying that the Committee Members went out. Neev and Ayesha were sitting opposite to each other going through their reviews, when Ayesha noticed him but he didn't pay any attention to Ayesha Shah.
After a full of 30 minutes, the members returned with their results.
"I am glad to announce that the Company getting this MUN Proposal is none other than the renowned Misher Companies. I would like Mr. Neev Shergill to come up on the stage." said one of the member and it was followed by a loud applause and congratulations from each and every member present there.
The only one who had no reaction on her face was Ayesha, who was fuming inside herself.
