Chapter 2

New York –

Next morning, Armaan rushed to the hospital and as always, he was late. He never slept on time and therefore, woke up late and ended up getting late for work.
On the other hand, Mayank had rather weird sleeping timings. He slept in the day and at night, did all the work, spent time with friends and never slept. 😕

After they were done with their respective works, they were to meet in the evening at a coffee shop. 😃

Chicago –

After a long and tiring day, Nupur went back home. After a while, her dad called her up to his room for some work.

"Yes dad!" she asked as she kissed him on the cheek and hugged him tight. [?] Nupur was really close to her dad.

"You know we're going to India, right?"

"Yes dad."

"We actually are going therer for my best friend, Balvinder Malik's daughter's marriage."

"So?"

"So, nothing! What I meant to say was, you'd be seeing an Indian, that too Punjabi wedding for the first time. You'd really like it. I promise you won't regret going to India wimme and your mom." He reassured.

"Fine dad. Got some work to catch up with, bye." She said and left.

New York –

"Yo!" said Mayank and shook hands with Armaan. 😃

They both got settled.

"Hmm .. so, what is it?" Mayank asked. 😉

"Anjali's getting married!!" he said out of sheer bliss and great spirits. 😃

"Wow man, congo! But she's younger to you na, how come she's getting married first?" Mayank asked. 😕

"Cause, the girls of the family get married first. That's some convention actually." He said. [?]

"Okay!! So, when are we leaving for Delhi??" 😉

"Tomorrow morning, at 8." [?]

Riddhima was to meet her fianc, Siddhant, he was addressed to as Sid most of the times. 😃 He was widowed and had a daughter, Jiah. He was a doctor and his and Riddhima's marriage was totally an arranged matter. But they both very well liked each other's company and had a lot of things in common. [?] Riddhima loved Jiah. [?]

"Hi Sid." Riddhima greeted him. 😳

"Hey!! How have you been?" he asked and like a true gentleman, offered her the seat and then, himself got settled.

"Good, you?"

"Pretty well!!"

"So?? Why here?"

"What?"

"I mean, why have we come here?"

"Just to spend some time together." [?]

"Okay!! How's Jiah?"

"Oh, she's good. Happy!!"

"For what?"

"Her new Mom's gonna step into her life very soon." [?]

Next morning, Mayank and Armaan boarded the flight and within the next sixteen hours, they were in India.

"GAWD! Its so nice to be back." Said Mayank!!! He really was HAPPY!! 😃

"Ya!!" said Armaan.

On the other hand, Nupur and her parents had also arrived at the Delhi Airport now. 😃

"GOODNESS!! Is this some village we've come to?" screamed Nupur when she stepped out of the Airport and actually saw the real Delhi. 😆

In the next update :-

- Riddhima comes to Delhi
- Mayank and Nupur meet
- Armaan comes to know Riddhima is invited to Anjali's wedding.
