Part 1
It was Friday already, 7:45am. "Yeh Armaan kahan reh gaya…he'll lose the job…and thanks to him i'll lose mine…kaha tha aath baje yahan pahucna hain…" Abhi grumbled as he waited outside the head office building. Just then a guy screeched around him on a smoking hot bike. Armaan reached finally, wearing a black shirt and blue faded jeans. As he took off his helmet, his soft silky hair fell on his face, making him way hotter than he normally would be. He parked his bike and proceeded towards Abhi who din't know wether he should be happy to see his friend after so long or to be angry for coming so late. "Bhai…hello…" Armaan said as he gave Abhi a hug. "Hello…aath baje kaha tha na??" Abhi asked upset. "Arre…its only 7:55…got exactly 5 minutes…see…" Armaan said as he showed Abhi the time on his watch. "Achi ghadi hain…" Abhi said still irritated. "Oh thank you…bought it from San Francisco…for 2oo dollars…" Armaan said admiring his own watch. "Ab chale…if our done admiring our watch??" Abhi asked. "Haan…chalo…chalo…" saying this both Armaan and Abhi entered the lift.
"Ridhimma Gupta…youngest daughter of Dr.Shashank Gupta…lives alone in Sunshine Apartments on the 16th floor…her friend Muskaan Chadda lives on the 14th floor with Nikki Malothra…both have been cleared by security…" One of the female officers said as she read Ridhimma's file. When Armaan heard Nikki's name he nudged Abhi, who gave him an angry look. "Is there a problem gentlemen…" Gen.Singh asked, he had been observing both the men for sometime. "No sir…sorry…please do continue ma'am" Armaan said quickly realizing his mistake. "She's an intern at Sanjeevani…and till now there have been numerous attempts made to kidnap her from various underworld organizations but all have been unsuccessful till date…please note…she does not know her life is in danger…" the officer continued. "She still has no idea??" Armaan asked confused. "We are good at our job Mr. Mallik…if you had any doubts…" Gen. Bakshi said glaring at Armaan. "Mr. Mallik you will go to Sanjeevani today and look around before you start your assignment on Monday." Gen. Bakshi said. "But sir his internship starts only on Monday…" Abhi said concerned. "Well Mr. Modi who said Mr. Mallik will be going as Dr. Armaan Mallik??" Gen. Bakshi said smiling wryly. "I heard you are a very good undercover cop…and can take the form of anyone…well consider today as your test day…you will check the hospital and staff…but you will not reveal your identity to anyone…do you get that Mr. Mallik?" Gen. Bakshi asked. "Yes sir…I understand." Armaan said. "Well then…i suppose we're done here…you will report to Mr. Modi if there is any problem…you may leave now…but Mr. Mallik and Mr. Modi…let me warn you…if anything happens to this girl…i will see that other than getting kicked out of the force you won't find a job anywhere in the whole wide world…do u understand?" Gen. Singh said in a very very serious tone. " Yes sir." Both Abhi and Armaan said. "Well then good bye…" Gen. SIngh said as he walked out of the room with the rest of the officers.
"Phew…ye seniors hamesha itne sadiyal kyun hote hain?" Armaan asked as he began opening his first button. "Armaan!! Respect them…they are our seniors…" Abhi fired him. "Hmm…so Nikki…did you tell her?" Armaan asked looking at his friend with concern. "I don't think its necessary Armaan, agar bhagwan ne chaha tho sab kuch theek ho jayega…" Abhi said thoughtfully "Arre…woh sab chood…how are you going undercover? I mean as in what are you gonna become now?" Abhi asked. "Lets see…Armaan Mallik has been a chef, a sailor, an artist, a machiwala, i can speak 11 different languages…so i guess….we'll come up with something…" Armaan said as he put his brilliant mind to work.
It was 10am already. Ridhimma was in her room getting dressed. Today all the interns were working a 12 hour shift - 12pm to 12am. "Gosh ye Muskaan na…abhi utha thi hoon…" Ridhimma said as she called Muskaan on her cell. "Hello…kaun hain…Ridhimma yaar…shift bara baje shuru hoti hain…thodi der soone de na!" Muskaan said still asleep. "Nikki tayar ho rahi hain…haan…make up - vake up lagana hain na…" Muskaan said teasing Nikki who was busy applying eyeshadow. "Muskaan…by the way Rahul aa raha hain…" Ridhimma said reminding Muskaan that Rahul was going to pick them up today. "Kya!!! Nikki towel kahan hain…Ridhimma tu Nikki se baat kar…" Muskaan said as she rushed to the bathroom after all Rahul was coming she had to look good. "Hello Muskaan…hello…" Ridhimma asked between her laughter. "She's having bath…here…nice one di…"Nikki said as both the girls started laughing again. It was 11:00 by the time the girls got down the building. Rahul who was getting impatient waiting for them welcomed them with a big smile. "Kya daanth dikha rahe ho?" Muskaan asked. "Tera kya jata hain?" Rahul retorted. "Arre…please guys…don't start." Nikki pleaded. "Nikki…by now i guess we should be habituated." Ridhimma said before she and Nikke burst out laughing. "Please haan you two…" Rahul said blushing. This made the girls laugh only more.
All the interns were at the nurse station at 12pm sharp. Ridhimma however had to assist in a surgery so she wasn't present. Dr. Anjili who was already present was glaring at them like she could have them for lunch. "Dr. Nikki - OPD, Dr. Ridhimma will join you once she's done with her surgery. Dr. Muskaan and Dr. Rahul - children's ward…once you are done with your present duties you will be handed more from Dr. Mehra." Anji said as she saw Atul walk in. Dr. Atul smiled at the interns. Just then Abhi entered with a man by his side. "Dr. Anjili, Dr. Atul and interns…I would like to introduce you to Mr. Gurpal Singh…he's the district supervisor for Sanjeevani Hospital." Abhi said as he Introduced Mr. Gurpal Singh. Now if you are wondering who Gurpal Singh is, well he's our very own Armaan. Only wearing a suit and a blue pagdi and a full blown beard and moustache, fake eye brows and black lenses - but he still looks hot. "Oh hello Mr. Singh…am Dr. Atul Mehra." Atul said in a welcome tone. Armaan only smiled. He was carefully scrutinizing the room, "Bas teen interns hain?" Gurpal Singh (Armaan) asked putting a very heavy Punjabi accent into action. "Nahin toh…aur ek hain na…" Atul said cheerfully. "Kahan hain??" Gurpal SIngh (Armaan) asked. "Woh kya hain na papaji…Ridz surgery main assist kar rahi hain…" Muskaan said casually. "PAPAJI!!!" Armaan said out loud almost speaking in his normal voice. "Oh sorry i mean sirji…." Muskaan said feeling stupid. Nikki and Rahul started giggling to which Muskaan nudged Rahul in the ribs. "Interns!! Please start your duties…" Anji said sternly, soon everyone had left. Only Abhi was left with Armaan aka Gurpal Singh."Papaji…seriously!!" Armaan said frustrated. "Chillax yaar…your undercover don't forget…you blow our cover and we blow our jobs…" Abhi reminded him. "So you have a look around…i'll see you in the office in a while…" Saying this Abhi went to his office.

Armaan first walked into OPD and saw Nikki. "Aap Nikki Malothra?" Armaan almost startled Nikki. "Ji sir…main Nikki Malothra hoon." Nikki said smiling. Armaan smiled back, he had a plan. "Who kya hain na Nikkiji…mujhe aap se Dr.Modi ke bare main pochna hain." Armaan said. "Abhi…i mean Dr. Modi ke bare main??" Nikki asked confused. "Haan board members ko lagta hain ki Dr. Modi ka transfer hona chahiye…" Armaan said as he smiled to himself on the inside but made a serious face on the outside. "KYA!! Nahi…please…nahi…" Nikki almost screamed, "I mean..Dr. Modi is a very good doctor..Sanjeevani needs him…especially this branch…we need him…i love…i mean we all love him very much." Nikki said almost crying. "Hmm…diktha hain ki sab unse kitna pyaar karte hain!" Armaan said with a big smile. "Chalo ji Nikkiji…good job…waise Dr. Ridhimma kab ayegi??" Armaan asked as he said goodbye to Nikki, but Nikki wasn't sure about Ridhimma so he left her in the OPD.
Armaan then walked into the Children's ward. Just as he entered he was almost hit on the head with a flower vase. Lucky for Armaan, he ducked. "Arre…sorry woh…ye sab isne kiya." Muskaan said panting pointing at Rahul. "Oye jhoothi…sir isne shuru kiya…" Rahul said. "Chup! Theek hain…ab kam karo…" Armaan shouted still recovering. "Vaise…Dr. Gupta ko dekha?" Armaan asked. "Kaun? Dr. Shashank Gupta?? Woh toh Delhi main hai." Muskaan said casually. "Dr. Shashank nahi…Dr. Ridhimma Gupta." Armaan corrected her. "Kyun? Aap ko Ridz se kya kaam hain? Jab se aaye ho bas Ridhimma ke bare main pooch rahe ho!" Rahul said as his protective nature came to life. "Kuch nahi…aur senior se aise baat karte hain?" Armaan asked irritated. "Woh chaddo ji…ye aisa hi hain." Muskaan tried cooling the situation down. "Theek hain…carry on…" Armaan said as he gave Rahul a look.Just as Armaan was walking out of the Children's ward, he saw a woman in a blue salwar suit. But he couldn't see the face, he was facing her back. "Woh kaun hai?" Armaan began asking himself. Just then Abhi called him and told him to go home Abhi would be there soon. Armaan followed his orders.
Abhi came back home to find Armaan playing basket ball, he had changed and was in his normal clothes. "So how was it?" Abhi asked. "Cool actually…i mean Atul seemed cheerful…Dr. Anjili…i din't like her…but she's hot"Armaan said summarizing the day. "Well no one likes her…she's Atul's wife by the way." Abhi said smiling. "What?? seriously…he a sunflower and she a cactus…husband and wife…wow!" Armaan said very surprised. "Haha…i know everyone asks the same question. What about the rest?" Abhi asked smiling. "Well Muskaan seem's cool and Nikki..i guess i don't have to say much abuot her…but that Rahul dude gets on my nerves…you should have seen the way he pounced on me…" Armaan said getting irritated. "Yeah…he's very protective over Ridz" Abhi said thoughtfully. "Ridz?? Oh you mean Ridhimma…well i din't get to see her…"Armaan said remembering he had forgotten the main reason why he became Gurpal Singh. "Not your fault…i had to let her go…her father is in town for this weekend…then he'll leave for Singapore and other places for a long time…so with the little time she has for some father - daughter bonding…i had to let her go…after all i know what it is to live without parents…" Abhi said staring at the sky. Armaan put his hand on Abhi's shoulder. "Chal yaar…don't worry…you have Nikki na…" Armaan said and then explained the little prank he played on Nikki. "Teri toh…" Abhi said and started running after Armaan to hit him. But he couldn't waste anymore time. He had to go back to the hospital, he had a surgery with Nikki. "Haha…bye…" Armaan said panting and laughing. "Chalo…i'll also sleep…well Miss Ridhimma Gupta…c ya on Monday…"Saying this Armaan went into his building and soon was fast asleep.
