Part-6

At break time Mayank and Nupur were chatting.Suddenly she heard Dia talking about movie.

"Are you guys talking about movie?"Nupur asked.

"Yeah.Actually Benji was asking me out for a movie."Dia blushed.

"Oh!Which movie you are going for?"asked Nupur.

"We are going for 'My name is Khan'."Benji replied.

"You guys haven't watched the movie yet?"

"Yes.I have watched it five times.Shahrukh was excellent in this movie!I would love to watch this movie again and again."Dia said.She was excited to watch the movie for the sixth time.Being an SRK fan she can watch his any film even sixty times!Benji knew it very well.That's why he was taking her for a movie, that too an SRK movie.He loves to see her happy and excited.

"Me too loved the movie.SRK is always amazing in every movie.But he was the best in DDLJ."Nupur said with a day dreaming expression on her face.If Dia can watch SRK movies sixty times then she can watch them six hundred times!Watching the same movie six hundred times that too without being bored is only possible by Nupur Bhushan!And she was always proud of it.

"DDLJ?"Mayank asked.He was not so interested in movies.But he was amazed to see the two girls talking about movies and SRK.

"Dilwale dulhania le jayenge, right?"Dia replied.

"Ecactly!"Nupur said and hi-fived with Dia. "Mayank, you don't know about DDLJ?How's that possible?"Nupur asked in wonder. "Everyone knows about DDLJ."

"Well.I am not a movie buff like you girls."Mayank said. "So, is that also a SRK movie?"

"Yes.It's the best movie of SRK!Awww! My Raj!!!"Nupur started dreaming again.

"Raj?"Mayank asked.Now who is this Raj?They were talking about SRK,no?So,where did this raj came from?Mayank thought.

"Yes,Raj! The hero of DDLJ and dream man of every SRK fan!"Benji replied as he had lots of experiences of Raj as his girlfriend is also an SRK fan.

"Oh!"Mayank was surprised

"Let me give you a free tips Mayank.If you love a girl who is SRK's fan then just be like Raj.She'll instantly fall in love with you."Benji said and winked at Dia.

Dia blushed. "Benji is right Mayank." she said.She remembered how much Benji has done to be her Raj.She gave a side hug to Benji.Benji smiled.

Mayank turned to Nupur and asked "You also like Raj?"

"Is that a question to ask Mayank?Ofcourse!I just love him.He is my dream man!My prince charming!My Raj!You don't know how much I am waiting for him to come in my life!"Nupur exclaimed.

Mayank was in a naughty mood now.He winked at Benji and asked Nupur "So, am I like your Raj?"

"What?" Nupur was embarrassed by the question.How can her friend ask her to be her Raj.Raj is someone very special.She thought. "Mayank, Raj is my dream man.Why will you be my Raj?He is very special."

"Why can't I be your Raj?Am I not special?" Mayank asked.

Nupur couldn't answer this.Wasn't Mayank special?Ofcourse he was.But was he her Raj? "I don't know what you are saying?"

Mayank sensed her uneasiness.So he thought not to ask her further.Even he didn't know why he asked her the question.

After the end of class Nupur took her bag and started walking.

"Nupur,I think you have forgot something."Mayank said approaching her.

Nupur first looked at him questioningly then looked back to her desk if she had left her book or something.But there was nothing.She again looked at him.

Mayank had a mischivious smile on his face. "You forgot to give me your phone number.You know I can't take the risk to lose you again."

Nupur shook her head. "You'll not lose me now, as you said we'll be together always and forever."she laughed.They exchanged their number and went to home.

At home,Nupur was sitting in belcony.Her hair was open and was flying due to wind.It was coming on her face.But she didn't removed it.She was enjoying the cold breeze.She looked at the two small birds which came to the belcony flying and sat on the railing.Both were chirping all the time.Nupur found it very cute.She remembered about the whole day.Life is so unpredictable.When she was expecting some new friends she got back her old friend.Mayank!Thought of his name even bring smile on her face.How much she used to think about Mayank!How much she used to miss him!How she used to think her life would have been if Mayank was with her!But she also used to think that its silly to think about a childhood friend who mustn't even remember her.Here also life gave her surprise.He not only remembers her but also values their friendship.She is thankful to God for giving her all the happiness.She thought to share this biggest happiness of her life with her Chashmish.She was thinking to call her.Right then her cell ranged.She went to her room and picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hi Nupur!"

"Mayank, hi!"

There was a pause for a while.Both reminded what happen in the class.Nupur remembered how Mayank wanted to be her Raj.Did he say it only for fun or he really meant it?Nupur was quiet.So Mayank started the conversation.

"Nupur, are you there?"

"Yeah.Tell me."

"I just wanted to talk to you.We had so much fun in class today,right?"

"Ye-ah"

"What happen Nupur?Why are you sounding lost?"

"Umm.. Mayank, why did you say that you want to be my Raj?"

Mayank thought for a while.

"Ah! I don't know.I just want to give you everything that you want and want to see you happy always."

Nupur was still confused hearing his answer.

"Were you serious when you said about Raj?"

"Ofcourse I am always serious about Raj."

"Then I am also serious about what I said.If your happiness is in Raj then I'll give you your Raj."

Nupur didn't know what to say.

"Mayank, what are you saying?"

"Yes, Nupur.What I said is true.I'll be your Raj."

Nupur was totally lost now.Suddenly she looked at the clock and came out of her thought.

"Umm..Mayank, I have to hang up now."

"Why Nupur? We just started to talk.I have lots to talk to you.Are you busy?"

"Actually DDLJ is going to start in 2 minutes and you know I can't miss it."

"What?!! DDLJ!in 2 minutes!I have to watch it.Ok now i'll hang up.Bye." he didn't give Nupur a chance to say anything and cut the phone.

What!This boy is so....! When I wanted to hang up he didn't let me and now listening to DDLJ's name he immediately cut the phone!Didn't even let me say a bye!She went to tv room and turned on the tv,waiting for DDLJ to start.

Mayank, immediately after talking to Nupur rushed to his tv and was impatiently waiting for DDLJ to start.He can't miss it.Not because he is a big fan of this movie.But because of Nupur.He wants to give her everything that makes her happy.He still don't know why he wants to do it for her.But that doesn't matter.He has to see her happy that's what important for him.

DDLJ started,But Nupur couldn't concentrate on the movie.Mayank's words were coming to her mind again and again. I just want to give you everything that you want and want to see you happy always... If your happiness is in Raj then I'll give you your Raj... I'll be your Raj...Did she really got her Raj today?All these thoughts were interupting her to watch the movie.For the first time she was watching DDLJ but was not thinking about Raj.She was thinking about another man!Mayank!

On the other hand Mayank was totally engrossed in watching DDLJ for the first time.He was watching Raj very closly.Watching what Raj does in which situation so that he can be the perfect Raj for Nupur.He was so engrossed in the movie that he didn't realize when his mom came into the room and stood behind him.

Shilpa Sharma was totally surprised to she her son watching a romantic movie.Why won't she be surprised?It's not every day she see her son watching a movie that too a romantic movie.Mayank watches movie only when its an action or comedy movie.He was never interested in romantic movies.For the first time her son was watching romantic movie with so much interested.Something is wrong!Or something has changed for sure! She thought and smiled.She liked the change.She has to know the reason of this change but she thought not to disturb him now.So she left him to enjoy the movie.
