My heart was thudding violently in my chest. What the hell had I just done? Why would I stand up for Samrat? Samrat was looking at me, panicked. He nudged me slightly and frowned.
'Chashmish...tum kya soch rahi thi??'
He whispered angrily. 'Tum kyun apne aap ko punishment dena chahti ho, jabke galti sirf aur sirf meri thi??'
I glared at Samrat. 'Shut up Samrat.'
Just at that moment, Ms. Aha walked towards us, with arms crossed. She seemed surprised to say the least. 'Gunjan.... I'm shocked! Pehli baar iss classroom me koi Samrat ke liye lad raha hai! Impressive! Aur kyunki main tumhe (gunjan) apne class me chahti hoon, main isse bhi nahi nikaalongi. Behet jao tum dono.'
I smiled at her. 'Thank you very much Ms. Aha.... We really appreciate it.' She nodded as she went back to teaching her class.

Diya's Perspective:
It felt as if a whole eternity had passed, just waiting for the day to come to an end. I would show that stupid Gunjan! Who did she think she was, stealing my boyfriend! Well...maybe not boyfriend...yet.... But he would end up loving me eventually! I was sure of that fact!
But I had to hand it to her! Gunjan knew how to play her cards well...but so did I.... She would see the result of messing with Diya's love life soon enough!
It was a half hour later that I reached my house. Gunjan was already there, chatting away with my mom. I rolled my eyes. What a behenji!
Suddenly, I heard the chime of my cell phone. I answered of course.
'Hello..? Kaun bol raha hai..?'
I heard a boyish laugh at the end if the line.
'Of course main hoon Candy!'
I frowned. 'Samrat...? Tum?'
'Aur kaun!? Waise tum aaj mere saath ghar kyun nahi gayyi...?'
I clenched my fists in anger. 'Oh...Sorry Samrat! Mujhe lagga tha ke tum busy hoge...GUNJAN KE SAATH CLASS ATTEND KARNE ME!'
I shouted.

I bit my tongue. Ooo....how had she found out...?'
I tried a weak laugh. 'Candy....tumhe kaise pata challa...?' She snorted.
'Oh I dunno.... maybe CAUSE THE WHOLE SCHOOL IS TALKING ABOUT IT?! Samrat...tum paagal ho gayye ho kya?? Tumne class kyun attend kiya...? Aur especially uss behenji ke saath? What rubbish!'
Behenji? Did Diya just call Gunjan a BEHENJI??? I tried to bite back my anger but it wasn't working too well.
'Bas Diya! Buhot ho gayya hai! Tumhe zara bhi sharam nahi aati? Apni hi behen ko behenji bula rahi ho? Kaisi larki ho tum yaar? Hum achche DOST hai Diya...par iska matlab yeh nahi hai ke tum mujhpe apna hukum jataa sakti ho! Samjhi? Main jo chahun woh karoonga..... Aur jahan tak class jaane ki baat aati hai, tho mera man kar raha tha Ms. Aha ka lecture sunne me, iss liye gayya tha. Theek hai?!'
There was silence..... She was probably taken aback..... But she was one of my closest friends! How could I have spoken to her in such a manner? I hit myself on the forehead. Stupid, stupid STUPIDDD! I cursed myself. I sighed.
'Candy.... look...I'm really very sorry..... Mujhe tumse aisi baatein nahi karni chahiye theen..... Plz mujhe maaf kardo.....'
She laughed sarcastically.
'Kyun...? Main hoti kaun hoon tumhaari jo tumhe maaf kar doon...? Gunjan se kyun nahi maangte maafi, tumhaari best friend jo ban gayyi hai woh!'
Saying so, she cut the phone.
I groaned. Samrat.... how COULD u...? Tumhe pata hai na, ke Diya teri ek buhot achchi dost hai....? And u...? U have hurt her so badly! Shit yaar! Idiot! Ab jaake usse maafi maang!
