Part 6

Wearing a red churidar, riddhima came runing down the stairs. Today was going to be her first day at Sanjeevani, as well as muskaan's. She has heard a lot about the hospital. It was one of the biggest and prestigious hospitals in India. She felt blessed to be working at such a prominent place.

'muskaan, hurry up! Were getting late. Whats taking you so long. Am sure it doesn't take that long to get dressed' riddhima screamed. Today was her first day and she definitely did not want to make a bad impression. She sat patiently at the dinning table waiting for muskaan.

'Riddhima beta, have your breakfast, am sure you wouldn't want to go sanjeevani with an empty stomach now do you' laughed padma, looking at her daughters state of mind.

'Okay mum, but let muskaan come and then well eat together, I don't know what's taking her so long, were going to be late if she doesn't hurry up' replied riddhima looking at her mother.

'But riddhima'its only 8:00 and you have to reach the hospital by half 9 right?' said padma confusedly

'Exactly auntie! Your daughter has become mad today, she didn't even let me get ready properly, I was hoping to trap some lucky hunks with my charm and beauty, but know my plan is going to be a flop' pouted muskaan as she sat on the dining table.

'Its only 8:00...?....all this time I was thinking its 9:00'looks like the nervousness is getting to me' laughed riddhima.

Hi, Atul'has she arrived? Said Armaan excitedly as he leaned against his desk, exploring the scenic view in front of him, through his office windows'as he looked down at the garden below his office, he started to notice things he never noticed before'the grass looked greener, the flowers looked as if they had more life in them'with every blow of the wind, the flowers danced even more beautifully'it was like the nature was on his side'accompanying him in celebrating his new found feeling'oh god, what's happening to me'if feeling in love feels like this then'.I want to treasure this feeling forever'he thought smiling to himself'

"Armaan'?....are you there?...what's this yaar'I have been saying hello since ages, and you're not saying anything" said Atul annoyed'

"Oh 'Yeh'.sorry man'I was just lost in my own thoughts" replied Armaan as he secretly laughed at his condition

"In your thoughts'or'.Riddhima's" said Atul teasingly.

"You know me very well'laughed Armaan'but what else can this helpless Aashiq do, ever since I have laid my eyes on her, I can't stop thinking about her'" sighed Armaan'

"if that's the case then, I'm very excited to meet her" laughed Atul

"Ok Atul'is everything ready? Make sure nothing goes wrong' ok?

"Don't worry Romeo, I will make sure to it that Juliet gets everything"

"You better! Smiled Armaan'.by the way'Rahul kaha hain?"

"Rahul'ermm'he must be sleeping as usual'his shifts starts at 11:00 today'"

"Acha'okay I need to attend some meetings now, so I'll call later to bug you with questions"

"Feel free to do so, after all what are friends for "

"Thanks'I hope she likes the gifts'."

"Don't worry Armaan, am 200% sure that she will love it! "

"Okay bye'catch up with you later!'" said Armaan, as he cut the phone and sat down leaning against the chair'hmmmm'.can't wait to get another glimpse of you riddhima'

"Wow riddhima'look at the size of this hospital'it's'massive'" said Muskaan as they walked into the hospital'

"I know muski'its beautiful as well! Can't believe we will be working here'" smiled riddhima as she turned to look at muskaan. The happiness she was feeling inside was unexplainable. As she looked around the hospital she noticed a man walking towards them smiling'he was quite chubby, but looked very cute at the same time'.I wonder who he is thought riddhima'

When riddhima walked in through the doors of sanjeevani, Atul immediately recognized her'he didn't know why'but something told him that this must be the girl who has stolen his friend's heart! He was very happy at the thought that Armaan has finally fallen in love! Although Armaan has been with many girls, none of those girls had managed to affect Armaan the way Riddhima has'and Atul knew this'he was so excited to see riddhima's reaction after she see's the gifts! '

Hey'I'm Dr.Atul'said Atul as he put his hands forward'.you two must be the two new doctors who are joining us today'am I right?...he smiled

'Yes'I'm Riddhima'its nice to meet you' she said as she shook his hands.

'And I'm Muskaan' yelled Muskaan cutely.

"Nice to meet you to Riddhima'and you as well Muskaan' grinned Atul as he observed the two'Riddhima was indeed beautiful'now I can understand Armaan's craziness'thought Atul as he laughed in his mind.

Okay guys, Dr Kirti have given me the responsibility to show around the hospital, so'.chale?...

As Atul gave Riddhima and Muskaan a tour of Sanjeevani, the two were left speechless. The hospital was perfect! Right from the canteen to the operation theaters, there were no faults. As they went past the children's ward, Riddhima's eye met a little boy's eyes'he was looking at her with such a cute smile that Riddhima was taken back, he looked adorable she thought'she smiled and waved at him'

'That's Dhruv' said Atul looking at riddhima. He was observing the little interactions being portrayed between the two. He couldn't help but smile, they both were too cute.

'Huh'sorry'what did you say'' said Riddhima a little embarrassed. Today was her first day and she was screwing things up for herself by not paying attention'riddhima focus'focus'she said whispered to herself'

'Don't worry, seeing Dhruv anyone would loose their attention'' he laughed'his very naughty but at the same time very adorable. Everyone loves him to bits.

'Hmm'I can see why'and sorry again'' she smiled'.

'Dr.Riddhima and Dr.Muskaan, I shall now show you the locker rooms'

After showing them the locker room, Atul sprinted out as fast as he could and hid behind the door to call Armaan. He made sure that Riddhima chose the locker which contained the gifts so everything could go as planned'Riddhima was of course confused by Atul's change of behavior. He was literally forcing her to use the locker chose by him'saying the others were too dirty'too high for her to reach'or too small'she wasn't really bothered which locker she uses and she knew that Atul would keep on irritating her, so she just agreed to his decision'she laughed in her head as she tried examine his facial expressions. Atul was major excited'he felt like a kid playing hide and seek'he was having so much'

'Hello Armaan'?...yes don't worry'everything is going as planned!'

'Yes! Has she seen the gifts?' Said Armaan excitedly as he jumped up from his chair

'No'No'not yet she talking to Muskaan at the moment'

'Ermm'Atul'why are you whispering man'I can't hear you properly'talk louder any'

'Oh sorry'laughed Atul'actually I'm hiding behind the locker room door, so need to be quite so they don't see or hear me''

'Oh ok. So'what do you think off her'' whispered Armaan

'She's beautiful, better then all the other bimbo's you dated'she has this innocence which can mealt anyone'you both will look amazing together'she's perfect for you Armaan' by the way'why are you whispering?'

Oh'errm'sorry'don't know'laughed Armaan'anyways'seems like you have been observing her a lot'yeh' She's the one for me'I want to spend the rest of my life with her atul...she affects me like no other girl has'I'm always thinking about her'I can't believe this is the same women who I resented so much'everything is so different now'ah'I want to make her mines as soon as possible!

'Armaan! Armaan! Armaan! She's opening locker now!' he said with a loud whisper'

'What? YES! Thanks bro! Get ready for the second part of the plan now! I'm on my way! Bye! And thanks again!' said Armaan as he ran out of his office and headed towards his car.

'Your''welcome'.' Said Atul with a sigh as he realized Armaan cut me off''this guy will never change''smiled Atul as he went back to work'

As Riddhima opened her locker'she realized something was inside'she put her tiny hands inside to pull out the unknown objects, which grabbed her attention'she now was holding a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates'as she pulled the flowers closer to her nose'she closed her eyes and sniffed in the heavenly fragrance'

Riddhima was still confused'why were these flowers and chocolates here?....were they for her?....she then looked back inside the locker and this time her eyes fell on a letter'now she was getting nervous'

'Wow'flowers'chocolates'and now this letter'.so romantic'.Riddhima quickly open it Na! I want to read!' shouted muskaan as she jumped up and down with excitement.

'No'what if it's meant for someone else?' replied Riddhima. She was dying to open the letter'but she felt scared as well'what if it's not for her?....she thought'

'Oh Riddhima just open it! If you don't then I will' said Muskaan as she folded her arms

Okay'okay'wait'I'm opening it''

Riddhima delicately opened the folds of the paper to read 'Hope you liked the Gifts'J'

Hmmm'well I certainly liked it! What about you Riddhima? Winked Muskaan. Muskaan was certain that the gifts were from Armaan. She decided to tease Riddhima a little bit'

'So'.Riddhima'who do you think it's from'hmm'.?...'

'Errmmm'I don't know'' said a confused Riddhima'

'What if it's from Ar'..maaaan'.' grinned Muskaan

'Huh? What?....oh come on Muskaan'why would it be Armaan'I mean he just met me yesterday'' replied riddhima as she quickly turned away and put the gifts back'could it be armaan?...she thought'no'.no'it can't be him'why would he send me gifts when he just met me yesterday'.several questions were going around her head'she wanted an answer'she felt weird'for some reason'some where deep down' she wished the gifts were from him'

'Oi madam...who's thoughts are you in' teased muskaan.

'No ones. Lets get going'Dr.Atul said we have to meet Dr Keerti is her cabin in 10mins, so let's get go' I don't want to get late, heard she's really strict''

'Why are we waiting here for then? Let's go' said muskaan as she dragged Riddhima by the arm.

While Riddhima and Muskaan were in Dr.Keerti's cabin, Atul was busy with the second part of the plan. Dr.Keerti informed Riddhima and Muskaan about the importance of punctuality, rules and regulations that need to be followed while they were in the hospital and also informed them about their working hours.

Muskaan, she was ok'not that strict'what do you say?....whispered Riddhima as they came out from the room.

Not that strict?...are you sure riddhima'I mean'did you see how her eyes widened when I tripped?...it was like she was going to gobble me up' replied muskaan.

Well that's your fault, who told you to wear such high stilettos'no wonder you tripped'laughed riddhima'but seriously'how do you manage to work in them?

Am used to it'and am not the only one that wears high heels'have you seen your sandal collection?

'Excuse me madam but my heels are decent compared to what you wear'

'Whatever you say'.now common let's go to the canteen am starving!'

'What inside it?''.she said confusedly.

' I don't know Madam, that's for you to find out' he smiled

'But'' before she could say anything, he left the box on the table and fled.

'YAY! Another gift!

'Muskaaaaan'.shhhhh...everyone is looking''

'So'does it matter'now come on'open it'.'

'I am'wait...' she smiled'

Riddhima unwrapped the paper and opened the box to find a teddy bear inside. She smiled looking at the gift. She loved it!

'OMG! Teddy! So cute!' Muskaan jumped as she hugged Riddhima'look another letter!...lets see what's written in this one'

'Where!' said riddhima excitedly.

'Oh'I see someone is very excited''

'ermmmm'no' riddhima blushed''give me the paper..'

'There you go'

I know'I know'not as cute as you are! But hope you liked it. Now your next gift'come outside sanjeevani, I will be waiting eagerly for you'and I'm pretty sure you will not let me down'

Armaan was kneeling against his car'waiting for his riddhima'he couldn't wait to see her again'every seconds felt like minutes'and every minutes felt like hours'Oh god! What's taking her so long'he thought to himself. Every few seconds his eyes would turn to the entrance of Sanjeevani in search of her'but she was nowhere to be seen'his heart told him that she would come'so he wasn't worried about that'but one thing that was killing him from inside was this waiting! He was getting impatient. As he got out his mobile to call atul'he noticed a small figure coming out of sanjeevani'It was her! His heart was pounding with every step she took towards him'she looked beautiful he thought'.and the red churidar made her look more delicious'

Every step she took towards him, made her even more nervous'as she looked at him from the distance she noticed him smiling at he'his dimples were making her weak'she didn't now how she would manage to carry on walking'every joint in her body were trembling due to nervousness'why is this so hard! She thought'why do I always go numb every time his near me! Hmmm'god'please help me'

As she approached him'he observed her every movement'the way her eyes lowered'her body language'and the way her fingers played around with her dupatta made him realize how nervous she was'seeing this he grinned'as this showed him that he had an EFFECT ON HER !

Looking at her state, he was certain that she wouldn't be able to speak so he started of the conversation'

'Hi Riddhima'did you like the gifts' he smiled looking at her'

'So it was you'' she smiled back'

'Of course me! Who else would send you such cute gifts' he winked at her

'Ermm'.i don't know'am sure I have thousands of unknown admirers out there who are dying to send me their gifts' she replied

Riddhima was shocked at herself! Few minutes ago she was dreading to even look him in the eye and know she was flirting with him! OMG! I'm I feeling ok? She thought to herself'as soon as she started talking to him'the nervousness she felt few minutes ago'suddenly started fading away'she didn't know why'he had an unknown affect on her'

'So'you do agree that I'm an admirer'?...' he winked as he came close to her'

Armaan was indeed shocked to see the change in her behavior but he was happy about the fact that she was starting to feel comfortable around him'plus he was enjoying the flirting!

'If that's what makes you happy'' she replied looking a little embarrassed''errmmm'thanks for the gifts Armaan'it was really sweet of you''

Armaan noticed her attempt to change the topic'but he wasn't going to let her go that easily'the fun had just started'

'So'riddhima'what do you think about your 3rd gift'hmmm'do you like it''

'Third gift?....but there only two gifts'where's the third one?' she looked up at him confused'

'You're looking at it'' he chucked as he came closer to her'

'You mean you'' she replied in a soft town'

'Yup'me'so Riddhima what do you think about this gift'do you like it'' he whispered in her ear'
