When I kripa sharma 30yrs old, happliy married to angad khanna look over my life i chersih the past 5 yrs of my married life. All the memories brings a smile to my face. Its just like a fairytale where a prince comes on white horse and sweeps u away from ur feet and puts an end to all ur problems. I also met my charming prince in my life. It so happened 5yrs ago....
I was attending one of my far cousins wedding. He was from uk . his parents dilip khanna and naina khanna were also there. I being my bubbly self wasnt bothered wether i was being watched by some one very curiously. At that time i never knew that behind this ignorance of mine my fate was being decided. They contacted my mamaji and asked him about my details u know the kind off things they ask for shaadi and all. I was enjoying to the fullest at the wedding.
Next day i came to know about this whole plot as i was a given a very nice suit and was asked to dress up like a princess and that was because i was going to meet his parents. I was a little taken a back by such hasty movements . it was not that i was in love with someone but i havent given a thought to this shaadi thing. common i was in my last year of mba and this all was happening so soon. I was going bonkers thinking how will i talk to the guy i mean i dnt knw him havnt seen him and here i am gng to meet him like for 10-15mins to decide my fate . but to my utter relief i was told that guy is not here . he is back in london but i wud be meeting his parents. So i thought that meeting his parents wont decide my fate a guy living in london cannot easily agree to marry a girl whom he doesnt know havent seen n as living in london i was dead sure he is not gng to agree.
So very confidentally i went to meet his parents along with mine to hotel raddison delhi. We meet, all the elders intracted for almost like 3-4hrs like they were past separated frnds . i was bored like anything though i was asked a few questions like can u cook n do u eat non veg to which i just gave ans yes or no because i was instructed to give ans like this only before coming here.
So finally the meeting was over and my parents were told that they will be called to let them know wat they thought. So i was happy like it meant no acc to me, it wasnt like i didnt want to get married but no so soon that too so far away .i.e london. So i was about to hit the bed when i heard my parents talking on the phone to angads parents they were asking them to mail my pics to him and in return wud get his through mail only. I was like wat the heck how did the guy was ready for this thing. Wat i didnt knw was that he was his parents obedient son. They also told my parents that from there side its 99% yes but 1% of the decision still was on him. I cudnt think much because after all the thinking i had already done i got a huge headache. So i drifted off to sleep not knwing wat my future rather i say the next day holds for me.
After two days i was told that angad wud be india by today night n i was gng to meet him next day evening. So that news brought a mini tsunami in my house. I cud see my parents running here n there preparing some shagun if might everything goes well. They will be dng some roka n engagement ceremony tomm itself as angad has to go back to london soon. My whole family was running in all diff directions n i was pushed towards one of the nice clothing stores with my cousin to choose a nice suit. So after much persuation my cousin made me choose a pink churidaar suit.
The whole day went in hustle . next day early morning i was sent to beauty parlour to mend myself. Everything was happening so fast that i didnt get time to register anything and soon the evening came i was waiting in my room waiting all decked up to meet him ' the angad khanna. I was getting a feeling that after a few mins my whole life wud a be total change. They all arrived exchanged a few pleasantries and after hr or so i was called down. With nervousness creeping inside me i desended down the stairs with my cousin nudging me to take a look at him which i was finding difficult to do so.
I went n greeted everyone i had a small peek of wat he looks like while greeting him n found him staring at me dumb stuck. His expression were like he is not believing what he saw. His mother nugded him to come back to realty . i was sitting there nervous as hell for like ten mins with angad staring at me continously. Then his mother spoke up that angad wud like to speak to me in private for a few mins if it was not a problem to my parents.so we were leading to my room with him following me and i am sure he saw my nervousness. We eneterd and there a dead silence n to break the ice he extended his hand and said
Angad : hi i am angad khanna
Kripa : hi i am kripa.....kripa sharma
Angad : nice name......see kripa i knw u r damn nervous even i was but not anymore . if u dnt mind can i ask u something
Kripa : sure go ahead
Angad : kripa we both knw y we all have gathered here but first i wud like to know ceratin things before all this proceeds further. U know kripa its not the first time i am seeing u...........
I was shocked to hear this . but he still continued.....
Angad : i have seen u two years ago at one of ur cousin joshs wedding . i am his best frnd i was there at that trime. That was the first time i saw u n fell in love with u on first sight. Then i went back but cudnt forget u. So a few days earlier when my parents told me that they liked a girl for me i was about to say no but after hearing ur name i was in doubt whether u r same kripa with whom i fell in love with . so i asked my parents to go a futher little with this whole thing n asked for ur pics. N then i hit the jackpot because it was same u. I immediately decide to come to india n make u mine before anyone else does. I am ready to get married at this very moment but wud like to ask u that i hope u r not being forced into it.
kripa : (shyly) no i am not being forcced but this whole thing is happening so fast that i am not getting what is gng on
Angad : kripa r u comfortable gng away so far from ur family n live with a complete stranger.
Kripa : i dnt know
Angad : kripa i promise u one thing if u say yes to this haadi i will never let any tears come to ur eyes. I will give my world to be with u...............i promise u willl not regret ur decision
When he said this i first time raised my eyes n saw him. His eyes were promising each n every word he said. N i strongly believe that eyes cannot lie.
Angad : kripa i knw u need time to thinkl about it so tell me i will give all the time u need.....
He was about to say more but i interrupted him n said that i have taken my decision. He was shocked so soon. I told him that i was ready because i saw something in him that made me believe that he is the right guy for me.
We went downstairs and everyone was looking at us expectantly. I was a bit comfortable now but still cudnt be much. Angad nodded to everyone . soon there was noises everywhere congratulating us. My dad came towards me n hugged me tight. He slowly whispered in my ears : kripa u have made me proud today. By saying yes u have reliefed me from all my tensions. Anagd is a great guy n i am sure he will do anything in his power to make u happy.i am proud of u beta.
Then the ceremony took place n soon i was engegd to him.so all elders sat down to discuss futher action. We were sitting on dining table n me n angad were sitting together as others forced us to. he slowly held me hand n gripped it firmly to never let it go. He turned towards me to ask my approval n i nodded in yes. My hand felt warm comfortable in his huge ones. soon it was decided that we all will got to court tommorrow to get married legally as soon as possible because it will help in getting visa soon. Angad was supposed to leave for london as he had to report back to work . he will be back in three weeks for the wedding. Yes the actual wedding was fixed after three weeks .i have to stop now. if u guys like it plz do comment
