Armaan malik - 24 years old, the flirty, lovable chocolate boy. has an image of being a skirt chaser, but respects women gets whatever he wants as his dad runs a multi-million company, he is very spoilt, he does not take a relationship seriously as women are his "time-pass". lives in mumbai after moving from delhi. current best friend is muskaan, but only trusts one person with his whole life.. Rhidima his childhood best friend that left him, to move to the states with her family. hasn't been able to contacted her in 8 years.

Rhidima gupta aKa Ria - 24 years old. honest sweet and totally caring, always puts her family and friends before herself, and totally drop dead gorgeous, and doesn't know the affect she has on boys ;) her best friend from uni is muskaan, she can tell her everything and anything. she lives in New York with her mom and older brother, now a successful fashion designer handling the family bussiness with her brother, after her dad passed away.

Muskaan chaada - 24 years old, the two most important people in her life, her new found best friend armaan, and her london uni best friend ria. a total chatter box can talk about the weirdest of topics. a bubbly and lively girl, her parents sent her to the states for uni studies, where she fell in love with rahul and is back in india to get married.

Rahul - 24, muskaan's fiance, same as the show ( i cant be bothered to explain his character) but the only difference is that he and muskii are madly in love with each other. though they still do have their often well everyday fights, but thats just how they express their love for each other.



guys important notice i know the tittle is in hindi, but dont expect much hindi in this story from me, its really bad so its all in english, well most of it anyway i'll try and squeeze in a word or two of hindi LOL (:

part one.
A girl was walking out of mumbai international airport well actually running, totally unaware of the many pairs of eyes lost in her beauty, wearing a knee length strapless dress

she ran out of the airport as fast as she could.
"TAXIII ... TAXII .. TAXIII?" she had a thick american accents which turned a few head in her direction but she could care less. she shouted as she stood on one of the busy roads of mumbai outside the airport. finally a taxi stopped.
"where to madam?" the Taxi Driver asked.
she took out a piece of paper from her hand-bag and gave it to the driver he looked at it and started driving.
"shit shit shit, Ria your dead, aaj phir se late, muskaan is going to murder you, first you don't show up at her wedding and now your going to be late for her reception well done this is a new low even for you" she kept muttering to herself, while thinking of different ways muskii would murder her. she was brought out of her thoughts when the driver said "we've arrived madam"
she quickly payed her money and took her suitcase out of the boot, then looked at her destination she was standing outside a huge mansion, and with the front doors wide open she could hear the party going on in full swing.
ridz dragged her suitcase up the stairs and up to the doors, put her suitcase to the side just behind the doors, the last thing she needed was for her stuff to be stolen.
dropping her hand-bag on top she ran into the main room a huge grand hall room, she saw muskii and rahul sitting on a raised stage with some people congratulating them, some dancin, some eating/drinking. she ran to muskaan, and took her into a big bear hug.
"Idiot your coming now, a little late don't you think?!" muskaan shouted at the top of her voice, she was a loud person but with the roaring DJ she was barely heard.
"i'm soooooooooooooo sorry hun" shouted ridz back as loud as possible
muski giggled at her best friend who was as quiet as a mouse usually trying to shout.
"teek hai, your forgiven" and gave ridzi another hug
"Urm muskaan, who is this?" said rahul feeling a bit left out "oh so sorry rahul, this is my best friend in the world.." but she was cut short by another guy who was sitting close by "who dare take my possition as YOUR best friend that possition is already filled" said the guy, showing obviously fake anger. this made Ridz giggle "like i was saying before i was rudely interupted.." giving the boy an evil glare " this is Ria ONE of my best friends, i met her in new york, while i was away at uni she's come back to india after sooo long just for mer hena Ria?" ridzi giggled again"yes hun sirf tumhare liye" her accent made her hindi sound VERY different "Hii Jeej, congrats on your wedding" she said, rahul looked at her but before he could say anything the other boy interrupted him "OHHHHH so this is the famous Ria, i've heard soo much about you and wow you really are as pretty as muskaan says" he said while kissing ridz on the hand and giving her a wink. "ARMAAAN! , dont you dare and try and flirt with her nahi to bohut borah hoga sumjay?" "armaan?" ridz said a little dazed. (yhh kya hai ridzzii, he cant be your armaan, i mean anyone could have that name, stop being silly) "haan bollo ... Riiaaa" he said in the same flirty tone "umm.. Nice to meet you" she put up a genuine smile and extented her hand which he shook while giving away his million dollar dimple smile.

she took away her gaze, then looked at all their clothing, "um muskii all your clothes look really familiar, where have i seen these before?" "yaar your soo stupid, idiot yhh sub tumhare to designs to hain"

a look of shock washed over her face "why mine?!" "idiot mere best friend inti succesful designer hain, aur main kisi aur ke pass jaun, looks VERY stupid, and another reason all i had to do was call up arjun bhaiya, and i got them free, now you tell me who would pass up an opportunity like that?" "tu kabi nahi sudre gi" she said while rolling her eyes "vaise ria your a very good designer, im impressed" "thanks jeej, an muskii yh kya ria,ria laga rakha hain?" "kya karu yaar, its just that the name 'Rhidima' doesn't suit you one bit" "Rhidima?" rahul said "yh actually my real names rhidima, but this pagal calls be ria for some reason" "i like rhidima it suits you more, i think ria is just to .... urmm.... American" rahul joked. "oh and by the way, could you do me a favor?" "um yh jeej whats up?" rahul signaled her forward and whispered something in her ear, while armaan and muski both looked with suspicious eyes "why are you asking me to do this? i mean just ask the DJ ini?" "nope trust me she always wanted you to do this at her wedding yourself" "are you by any chance talking about me?" muskaan asked still suspicious "umm nahi to jaan.. urm rhidima dont you have to do something?" he looked at her with pleading eyes "ughh fine jeej, but only for you be right back muskii" she winked at rahul and walked away, leaving muskii even more confused.

whereas armaan was having a battle in his mind with his heart ( heart: Dude thats her your ridzii, shes back i told she would come back. Mind: No idiot that could be anyone just cuz her names rhidima, Hear: yhh but i mean look at her, those same eyes ohh those gorgeous green almonds, and those lips dude i'm telling you THAT IS YOUR RHIDIMA.. Mind: NOOO as much as i want it to be, it not :( my rhidima left me ages ago, and she would have recognised you Heart: but did you see her face when she found out my name was armaan, she was defently shocked Mind: that could be for anything dude...
Armaan was brought out of his thought when he saw that "his" rhidima wasn't there anymore .. "erm muski where did rhidima go?" "ughh who knows, rahul wont tell me, keeps saying it's a surprise" she rolled her eyes, she hated surprises and rahul knew that but he kept insisting.

he turned around when he heard her voice, loud and which spread through the whole hall
"ladiies and gentleman, hope your having the time of your life, i know i'm not your DJ for tonight, but this is important so bare with me people." what was she doing at the DJ station?!?! "muskaan and rahul jeej congrats on your wedding, this is for you two, could everyone clear the dancefloor please" she said, she had ne of the earpieces of the headphones near her ear, and started pressing some buttons she knew exactly what she was doing, as everyone went back to their seats the buttons she pressed made all the lights dim, and nodded to one of the real dj crew who put up a spot light on rahul and muskaan. Rahl got on one knee and streched out his hand asking for a dance, "ladies and gentleman, Rahul and muskaans first dance" everyone started clapping as they walke together to the middle of the dance floor, armaan watched as rhidima pushed a few more buttons and the song 'Dil Nai Lagda' started to play muskaan and rahul moved slowly to the music, but instead of watching the lovely couple dance he watched as rhidima 'Dj'd' the song, constantly checking ound quality through the headphones, pushing buttons up and down, then she pressed anther button and some of the machines around the dj system blew out smoke, which swept round the couple's feet, it really was a magical moment, which reminded armaan ...

**Flashback**

"So muskki what's going to be the most rememberable and special part of your wedding" armaan asked, he, muskaan and rahul where sitting and talking about their wedding which was in 3 days time, "my first dance, i want it to be perfect just like a fairytale" "muskii that great but you do know that all the stupid DJ's gunna do is play the song, nothing special yaar" armaan replied as if she was mad "idiot, Ria's coming to the reception, and you know what she loves DJing , expert at it and if i could get her to DJ my first dance then it will be the happiest day of my life.." "err How exactly is this 'amazing ria' going to make your first dance special?"

**Flashback end**

i never got a answer from her, but know i could see how much muski meant to rhidima, she really did make her first dance special making this the happiest day of her life to date, i made a mental note to thank rhidima personally after all muki was my best friend and seeing her happy makes me happy.

Armaan set his concentration back to the dance, where he could see the hall was pitched black, and the only light was the one spotlight on rahul and muski, wow it trully looked amazing, esspecially with the syncronised steps that they performed, (mind: i guess muski dragging rahul to dance lessons wasn't such a waste of time after all)

RECAP: MUSKI AND RAHUL'S RECEPTION. ARMAAN AND RHIDHIMA MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME. BOTH ARE THINKING ABOUT EACH OTHER. RHIDHIMA DJ'S THE FIRST DANCE.

The party was over and only the close family was left behind, the elder guests sat with rahul and muski's parents talking or rather gossiping about what not. All the younger guests were sitting in the 'cinema' room (basically it was a room with a HUGE flat screen, an lots of bean bag chairs, sofas etc. around it with an over head projector showing the film. there were many of rahul's friends and cousin that were going to stay around his house so he thought why not all of us just relax and watch a movie.
"oh i know because ria wasn't here for the wedding lets all watch the wedding video" muskaan shouted in here usual excited voice. "hmm not bad whats say rhidhima?" "i would love to rahul" was my response, i couldn't say no more as i felt someones gaze upon me. I turned to see armaan looking at me with a VERY confused face, as if though he was trying to figure something out, i decided to drop it, as i had my own problems to think through, so everyone got comfy somewhere on the long couch, we were sitting as follows abhi, nikki (muski & rahul's friends), rahul with muski on his lap (mind :awwwww), then then muski's sister sapna, then me and next to me was armaan, for some reason sitting next to him made me really self conscious, what did this guy think of me, i barely know him, i hope he doesn't mind sitting next to me. oh god concentrating is going to be soooo difficult next to him.

armaan's POV

i didn't turn to look as she sat herself down next to me, i could feel her body heat close to me, and of course her smell, i could recognize her a mile away. i couch we were sitting on was pretty big, but with all of us on it i could say we were all somewhat squashed, i heard as muski asked sapna to move up a little which in turn made her shift closer to me, i felt our arms touching and a zap of lighting ran through my body, what the hell was going on, why was I ARMAAN MALIK the flirt getting nervous around a girl?!? i decided to flirt a bit as i was getting bored, but somewhere in my mind it was just to see those almond eyes of hers.

i put my arm around her and carried on watching the film as if nothing was wrong, she turned her head and glared at me with a 'what.on.earth.do.you.think.your.doing' expression, a raised my eyebrow her face was so cute the way she crinkled her nose up with anger...
