Chapter 7
Nupur was now out of danger. A couple of days pased away but she still needed to be there in the hospital. 😕 Dia and Benjy were having their exam so they couldn't stay with her the whole day, Uday and Gunjan were also engrossed in their work but Mayank and Nani used to stay with Nupur the whole day.
"Ye le, aaj Nani pata nahi kya ajeeb banva ke layi hain ghar se." Mayank said while feednig Nupur. 😆
"Wakai ajeeb hai yaar ye toh!" 😆
"See!" 😛
"Bachoon ye baingan ka bharta hai."
"Chee thu." Nupur made a digusted face.
Mayank and Nani burst out laughing! 🤣

At the Excel -
Ms. Mehta called Samrat and Gunjan.
"Yes Ma'am!" They both said.
"Kids . . you need to go to Delhi for an Academic event. There will be three rounds, one will be related to studies, the other would a dance competetion and the last would be something related to sports. And you ARE A TEAM!"
"Sounds cool." Gunjan said and smiled. 😃
"Ya, sure Ma'am. We'll get you the trophy." Samrat said. 😉
"Great!! The train leaves tomorrow 5 am . . get to work." said Ms. Mehta.
"5 baje?" Gunjan shouted. And almost fainted. 😆
"Kuch nahi hota Gunjan, aao chale." Samrat held her and left the room. 🤣

Mayank had not slept for the past three days. He felt really drowsy and so, he left and went back home.
"Aao beta aao . . aa gayi ghar ki yaad?" Mayank's dad, Mr. Mehra asked.
"Hey dad." Mayank jumped out of excitement and hugged him.
Mr. Mehra was a widowed father of Mayank and his elder brother, Prithvi who lived abroad.
"When did you come back Dad?"
"Last night, par janab ghar aaye aur phone chalu rakhe tab toh pata chale unhe."
"Em so sorry Dad, actually . . phones aren't allowed in the hospital." 😕
"Hospital?"
"Oh ya, I didn't tell you. Sorry . . wo actually Nupur ka accident ho gaya tha. Main toh 3 din se soya bhi nahi." 😔
"Nupur? Your girlfriend?" 😆
"Dad . . meri girlfriend Gunjan hai." 😡
"Toh phir Nupur kaun hai?"
"She's my best friend."
"Toh Rannvijay kaun hai?" 😛
"He's a very good friend of mine Dad . .but NUPUR IS MY BEST FRIEND. Sirf best friend."
"I see . . you youngsters . . wahan tere bhai ne aadhi hindu aadhi angrez se shaadi karli . . aur tu do kadam aage . . tu toh 2-2 shaadiyan karega." 😆
"Stop it Dad . . main ek hi baar shaadi karunga." 😳
"Hey bhagwan . . bhutha te vekh apna? Tu kithon ek fauji da putar lagta aa? Ek toh hadiyon ka dancha hai upar se ladkiyon ki tarah sharmaata hai." 😆
"Goodnight Dad!!" Mayank said and left.

At the Hospital -
"Nani . . Mayank kahan hai?" Mayank's ailing bestie asked.
"Beta, wo ghar gaya. He felt a bit too drowsy. 3 din se soya nahi tere chakkar mein isliye maine ghar bhej diya use."
"NANI . . 3 DIN! Pagal hai kya wo?"
"Pura din tere paas yahan baitha rehta hai, soyega kaise bacchi? 😕
Her eyes got moist. :'(
"Kya hua?"
"Kuch nahi Nani, goodnight." Nupur said and fell asleep. 😕

Early next morning, as soon as the clocke striked 4 . . Uday woke Gunjan up. 😆
"KYA HAI?" She screamed out of anger.
"Tujhe jaana hai . . Samrat wait karra hai neeche teri! Jaldi tayar ho!"
"Arey haan, lekin pehle Mayank ko phone kardun."
She rang up Mayank -
"Hey Manky!"
"Hey Gunjan . . itni jaldi kaise uth gayi tum?"
"Wo main aur Samrat Delhi jaa rahe hain." 😊
"Kya?" 😲
"Oh no . . actually Ms. Mehta ne hume choose kiya hai toh represent our college at the Academic meet."
"Awkay! I thought, anyway . . best of Luck jaan. Gonna miss you A LOT!" 😔
"Will miss ya too baby. Chalo, I gotta rush now. Loads and loads of love to Nupur, bye. Take care."
"Bye!" 😊

Mayank went to Nupur's house in order to get the ba of clothes as Nani had asked him to bring it before he came to the hospital. He went to Nupur's room but was anable to find it . .
"Do you think I should open the cupbaord?" He asked to himself. 😆
"No other option dude." He was talking to himself. 🤣
He opened the cupboard and the bag he was supposed to take along with the journal of Mr. Nupur Rathore, of course fell down.
"Ye kya hai? Nupur's Personal Diary! Aah . .aaj ise padhlunga and then maybe I'd come to know what's bothering her so much." 😕

- Gunjan and Samrat reach Delhi
- Nupur gets discharged and Mayank wants to have a word with her.
