But theoreotically speaking the author can't really take action based on vulgar information given on the site. Not really, but yeah. It doesn't really sound that . . scary? The least anyone can do is either stop you or fire you. Atleast IF has a body which stops the pretend author, unlike some sites where the readers take action. Ironic.

Also, Tiger, as for the author who you PMed... you didn't need to do that. =/ Once the complaint has been posted here, the members need to step away from the issue for a moment and let the DT handle it. I've PMed her and she asked me for a chance to let her edit out the information as well but that's not possible. There have been countless members who have done the same as hers and they have not been forgiven. It would be completely unfair if the DT made an exception for her. We have no reason to bend or break the rules for a member unless it's legitimate.

As for the blog link rule..

As far as I know, this rule applies to all of IF. Not just this forum. I was also told that posting blogs in your signature box is also breaking the rule, so, no. You may not post it in your signature box. As for the 'Homepage' option at your profiles... that might actually be a loophole to the rule huh? 😆 I honestly have nothing to say on that one. It actually might be legitimate to post your blog link in there... =/

Keeping this in mind, I'd like to ask, that posting a work of writing, and then linking a blog like to read the rest would be part of that right?

If this is the case, then I know various authors who do this

Also, would labeling a piece of writing +18, yet posting mature content would be wrong too right? As People can still read that piece of writing.

This was posted before the rule was declared. Check your facts before complaining. Also, this is the complaint box for plagiarism. What you asked doesn't regard plagiarism in any way.

That doesn't qualify as sarcasm, honey. Calling you somebody with brains does.Let me explain -For example there is a law that a person who has commited aso and so crime, when proved guilty is liable to be in jail for a year. Now lets suppose that the law has been amended and NOW, you're supposed to be in jail for TWO years, instead of one. Would you actually be as foolish as to think that you could possibly wind up all the people sent to jail as directed by this law and make them stay in jail for another year. If that is what you think, then I hope you never become the chief justice of the Supreme Court in India.Likewise, asking people to edit their posts after this new rule was declared is ludriculous. You can check any of Rafa's (arisai)posts AFTER the rule was introduced. There will be no inclusion of blog links in them.Like I said - check your facts before complaining about my friends.But its okay, I understand. I can forgive you and your stupidity. Being shut in a room with nothing but virtual friends for company does that to you, I suppose. As somebody wiser to you, I suggest you sit down and start using common sense. It will help everybody, I'm pretty sure.

On that note - I'd like to say goodbye. I have pleasurable ways to spend my time, and trying to understand you and your warped sense of justice is not one of them. I shall henceforth not be replying to your replies on this issue.

I said chief justice of India, as it would be under his orders all the people in the hypothetical situation would be rounded up. Magistrates and judges in the district and high court cannot issue orders like that.

A law is a law, whether on IF or here. I was merely presenting that situation on a grander scale, so you could understand my point of view

After having said that - I call for peace. I bear you no ill. I still think you should have Pm'ed the mods, as opposed to posting on a thread meant for plagiarism.

We both hate plagiarism and plagiarisers, so there should be no reason for both of us to be arguing.

its really funny that one who explained the forum rules is yet to follow it... !!! that too even after Angel-jot herself had mentioned it(putting blog link as signature) again...

so my new doubt is... is these rules and regulations are all for fun..???!!! i mean... v dont need to take it seriously right ..???!!!

bcos the above case and also the one i pm'd the mod a few days back(same as above as _Tabs_ had mentioned)

actions were not taken though... its right b4 their eyes...

im here, taking every word of rules seriously and telling my friends here not to spam or put links... 😕

i think i shd stop that... and do things... hope no one takes action on me too...😳

@jjsof: Who are you talking about? I've checked the links. =/ No one has their blog link posted... Please don't throw accusations out in the open forum like that for no reason. As for the link you PMed me, I took a look at it and the member had removed the blog link by the time i got there. What am i suppose to do when there is no link there? =/

i cant help but feel insulted... so i prefer to be inactive at least from now... and if u find me disturbing.., i dont mind even if u want to remove me from this forum... (though u may not have valid reasons) i always ... think... rethink and once again think before i say something... and i wish u should have done that at least once before u posting it here in the same public forum...

brb.. sorry to interfering but I don't think Harjot dii said anything wrong! and as they said previously.. Mods have their personal life also.. they are not available every time here.. they have anormal life like us and if no action is been take then u should wait a bit.. whenever I pmed any of the Mod of IF.. they always replied and took action. if not instantly.. then after some time.. so keep patience because our Mods are doing their best to keep India-Forums a good, family site! 😳

P.S. I also checked the link u gave.. n dii removed the links time ago.. there are no links of blogs anywhere! 😳

i clearly mentioned... CHECK V323 SIGNATURE...!!!! SHE STILL HAS HER BLOG LINK IN IT ABOVE THE PUPPY PICTURE... (i guess im clear enough)

(i even print screened her page with time and date...)

and alina: i havent opened my mouth any where about the late in response or anything... i KNOW...

i ll be frank now... i really really hate if someone points at me with wrong accusations(i guess no one likes it...) and im very very sure that i have posted a valid complaint so ppl... anyone out there to accuse me again... please stop it...

im not pointing any particular person... i ll never ever do it... you can check my complaints as well.. i posted it generally....

the only thing that makes me feel bad was.., she replied me without checking it... and she blamed the same on me ...!!! when im checking it even now for god sake...!!!
even now... im not fighting with anyone...!!! (there is no reason to fight... first of all...) its just my self respect that makes me reply or else i wd have long gone...
