Part 15

Somehow the group had managed to find a room which was suitable to spend the night. It was a small room with barely anything inside except for some sofa's which were covered and plenty of dust. Atul, armaan and rahul moved the sofa's to one side of the room so they could have more room. After that the boys took half of the room for themselves while giving the other half to the girls and they all dozed off to sleep. It was 9:00am……they room was filled with silence and nothing else. The girls were sleeping peacefully while the boys struggled to get some space and to sleep peacefully. Atul kept on kicking armaan and rahul since he was in the middle of the two which irritated them both and they kept kicking him to each other.

Rahul: (gets a kick from atul) pata nahin akhir chahta kya hai, raat bar se kick ke upar kick hi mar raha hai……..(pushes him over to armaan)

A: (gets a kick from atul) oye atul wahan hath na…….(atul opens his eyes)

Atul: kya yaar sone do na…….poori raat tumlogo ne sone nahin diya…….push hi kar rahe the………

A: toh aur kya karte…….tu humlogo ko football bana ke kick kar raha tha……..aur kehta hai k humlog push kar rahe the.

Rahul: haan yaar ab toh poora mere back dukhne laga hai.

Muskaan: (awaken by the sound) oye khothe, chup karo aur sone do.

Rahul: haan haan beauty queens…….khud wahan araam se soye…….tumlogo ko kya hai late toh humlog kha rahe hai.

A: oye rahul…….chup kar aur soja……abhi wohlogo se baat karne ka koi faida nahin……

Atul: haan yaar soja……..mujhe bohot neend arahi hai……

Rahul: humari neend ura ke khud araam se sone ki baat kar raha hai…..(pushes atul and turns to sleep)

Atul: (feels something on his hand) oye armaan mere haath ko cherna band kar.

A: atul……tu paagal hogaya hai kya? Mein tere haath ko kyu chehrunga? I'm still a pure GUY! Get it.

Atul: rahul mere haath se haath hata.

Rahul: oye ghade…….jaise armaan ek pure GUY hai na waise mein bhi hoon mein aisi harkate nahin karta……chup chap so ja.

The tickling on atul's hand gets excessive and out of control……atul looks at his hand to see what's causing all this commotion.

A: (looks at his hand) AHHHHHH!!!!!!

Atul sees a cockroach sitting on his hand, he shakes his hand to get the cockroach off and jumps up screaming, at this the gang is awaken and they sit up and see atul yelling and jumping.

A: atul! Kya hua kyu aise chila raha hai?

Atul: COCKROACH!!! (all yell and jump up and start shooting things at it)

Rahul: armaan who raha….chaddar k neeche…..(armaan hits it with his shoe but is unsuccessful)

A: rahul teri taraf araha hai.

Rahul: meri taraf nahin balke larkiyon ki taraf jaraha hai (girls start screaming and all three of them get on the same chair and now they're standing on it).

R: armaan kuch karo aur bhagao usse yahan se.

A: basket hum yahan yeh hi toh kar rahe hai……hum koi gilli danda thori na khel rahe hai (goes after the cockroach)

Muskaan: oye rahul khote…….jaldi pakar na usse.

Rahul: itni jaldi hai toh khud pakar le na.

R: rahul, muskaan…..larna bhand karo…….aur plz rahul usse pakro…..(rahul runs around)

Kripa: arey atul…….tum kyun us chair pe khare ho? Tum bhi armaan aur rahul ki madat karo na.

Atul: kripz……tumhe mujhse joh bhi kaam karana hai……..tum kara lo……..but yeh nahin plz……

Kripa: atul agar tumne wohlog ki madat nahin kin a toh mein tumse baat nahin karoongi.

At this atul immediately gets down. Now atul, armaan and rahul are running behind the cockroach and after a lot of running around finally the creature is caught and is thrown out.

A: ab tumlog neeche aa sakti ho….there's nothing now.

R: no armaan……I'm scared.

Rahul: scared? For wat?

Muskaan: agar aur hue toh?

Atul: aur nahin hai…….tumlog neeche aao plz

Kripa: no atul…….tumlog phele check karo phir hi hum neeche ayenge.

A: oh come on…….hum bol rahe hai na ke aur nahin hai……bachpana band karo aur neech aao.

R: armaan plz ek baar tumlog check kar loge toh kya hojayega?

At this armaan melts and agrees. The guys searched all over the place to make sure no more creepy crawlies were present. At last, they all were tired and hadn't found anything.

Muskaan: kya hua? Kuch mila?

Atul: nahin kuch nahin mila

Rahul: kuch milne wala bhi nahin hai…….ab chup chap neeche utoro tumlog.

Girls: pakkah na? kuch nahin hai.

A: haan yaar……kuch nahin hai ab neeche utoro….aur plz sambhal k utarna….

Atul: haan aur nahin toh kya? Teeno ki teeno ek hi chair pe chargayi ho….khare rehne ki jagah bhi nahin hai……ab jaldi utro.

Kripa: utar rahe hai na sabar karo…….mein phele utrongi.

Kripa tries to get off the chair first…..but since it is unstable…..its really hard to get off easily…….as soon as krpa picked one of her foot off the chair…lost its total balance and flipped over followed by the girls. The girls closed their eyes from fear to hit the ground……but b4 such thing could happen…..all three were caught by armaan, rahul and atul. The girls rested on their arms with closed eyes while the guys just stared away at them with love in their eyes. It was no time b4 the girls opened their eyes and now they were too lost in the set of eyes which were looking at them. Some time passed by and the wind caused the windows to collide with each other which led to the end of the stare. They get back up to their normal positions and all are dumb founded……not one was ready to utter out a word. The silence was finally broken by armaan.

A: so? Ab kya plan hai?

Rahul: breakfast karenge aur kya?

Atul: lekin breakfast ki cheese?

Rahul: ek kaam karte hai……aj ke din hum bahar se naashta le aate hai……aur jab tak hum wapas ayenge…….yehlog throa sa ghar war saaf karlengi…..

A: haan theek hai……chal chalet hai.

To avoid further talk, the guys rushed out quickly leaving the girls at the farmhouse. Without any further adieu the girls started to work. An hour passed when the guys came back. Everything was back to normal now.

Muskaan: tumlog agaye.

Rahul: kyun nahin ana chaiye tha?

Muskaan: ja ja mujhe tujhse koi baat nahin karni…….filhaal mujhe bhook lagi hai.

Rahul: jab dekho khaane ki baat karti rehti hai.

Muskaan: tujhe kya problem hai? Tere baap ka thori na khati hoon…..

Rahul: ey……baap pe mat ja…..

Muskaan: jaongi…..kya karega?

Both started to pull each other's hairs…..at this armaan, atul and kripa jumped in and pulled them back.

A: bas karo tumlog…….jab dekho larte rehte ho.

Muskaan: armaan tu isse…….

A: muskaan plz…….abhi kuch nahi…….abhi sirf nashta.

Kripa: haan ssly……..chalo khaane.

A: par yeh riddhima kahan hai?

Muskaan: who andar ka karma saaf kar rahi hai…….sabar kar mein bulati hoon.

Rahul: muskaan……tu nashta laga na……. armaan bula lega……..riddhima ko……kyun armaan? (armaan nodds and leaves.)

When Armaan entered the room……he saw Riddhima dusting away the shelves, he didn't say a word and just stood there without making a noise. Riddhima was done with cleaning the lower shelves and now the higher ones were left. Due to her height she obviously couldn't reache it to eye lever nor could she see a chair to use. Armaan watched patiently. Riddhima, then raised her hand in which she had the duster stick and tried to clean it to her best abilities. So far, all was going good until the duster hit a small object that was placed on the shelve and caused it to fall.

R: oh no…..ab isse mein wapas upar kaise rakhu?

Riddhima picks the object up and tries to put it back to its place but is unsuccessful. Armaan decides to help her, he goes and raises his hand to hold the object. His hand touches riddhima's hand and a shrill runs down her spine. Immediately, riddhima lowers her hand down, backs up and looks at armaan who at first looks away for a minute or two and then looks towards her……trying to explain himself.

A: um…help karoo?

R: (not knowing what to say) nahin its ok……mein karloongi.

Riddhima turns away and again tries to place the object back on the shelve and again is unsuccessful. Armaan nodds his head in disapproval and decides to help her. Without saying a word, armaan places his hands on her waist and firms his grasp which gives riddhima goosebumps….as the scene progressed…..riddhima was confused with the thought of why she was feeling in such ways…..and was so lost……she didn't question armaan. Armaan picked her up by the waist…….riddhima placed the object on the shelve. When retrieving her hand from the object, her elbow hits another object…..she jerks a bit to save the object and places it back in place…….but this causes armaan to loose his balance and his grip loosens on riddhima which causes both of them to fall. Riddhima had her eyes closed due to fear…..that she'll smack her head on the ground but……when she opens her eyes……she sees armaan looking down at her and feels his hand at the back of her head, due to which she didn't get hurt. The two were lost in each other's eyes. One by one armaan removed riddhima's bangs from her face and now the two were completely lost. The two didn't realize what they were doing or what was happening. Armaan came closer to riddhima and now only a single move was left to bind the two in a kiss. B4 armaan could come more closer, riddhima jerked her head towards the door where she heard muskaan calling her name.

Muskaan: (enters the room) ridzy! (rahul enters wid her; sees the two on the ground; armaan and riddhima get up hurridly) yeh sab???

Rahul: armaan yeh sab? (makes weird faces at armaan)

A: who……who mera per phisal gaya tha……toh……(signals rahul; rahul nodds)

Muskaan: par……

Rahul: arey muskaan, tu yahan yeh sab bate karne aye thi? Armaan ne kaha na k uska per phisal gaya tha…..ab chor na baat ko.

Muskaan: hmmmmm……mein bhi kyun is baat mein…..woh mein tumlogo ko bulane aye thi…….nashta tayar hai chalo.

Rahul: tu jaa…..hum ate hai….

Muskaan: ate hai kya matlab? Chup chap chal tera kaam hai, tum dono jaldi aao. (pulls rahul out of the room)

After rahul and muskaan leave the room, armaan and riddhima are left in complete silence. Without saying anything, riddhima exits the room and stops after she's out of armaan's site.

R: (outside the room; thinks to herself) yeh mujhe kya horaha hai? Mere aur armaan ke beech mein yeh sab? Mujhe kuch samaj mein nahin araha. Kyun aj kal ajeeb si becheni rehti hai mujhe. Kyu mujhe armaan ke choone mein koi objection nahin hai? Kyun uske choothe ve…..i get goosebumps, kyun uske saamne aane pe……mujhe sharm si ajati hai…..yeh sab kya horaha hai? Kahin yeh pyaar? Nahin nahin……aisa kaise hosakta hai……humlog kitna larte hai……yeh pyaar kaise…….nahin riddhima…….you're thinking too much…..yeh sab aise…..nothing really is the matter…..lekin agar sachi mein ……oh god…….what should I do? (hears muskaan calling her name) I should go….(leaves)

Meanwhile, in the room armaan is lost in his thoughts. He too can't understand what the hell just happened……and he is surely not in the mood to accept that this is love…….he puts all of his thoughts to one side and goes to eat.

Many days pass…….feeling between armaan and riddhima…..have rose to an higher level and both don't know what to do……it's night time…..and by now everyone is exhausted from all the cleaning and are sitting in the living room trying to spend time.

Muskaan: yaar am so tired……poora din kaam karte karte thak gayi….

Rahul: haan haan…….bol toh aise rahi hai ki poora din khud hi akele kaam kar rahi thi…….aur hum sab machar mar rahe the na….

Atul: oh come on guys, stop fighing…….ek toh hum sab thake ve hain…..and you guys are fighting.

Kripa: chalo ek game khelte hai.

Muskaan: tujhse matlab

A: guys don't start fighting again…….chalo game shuru karte hai…..par khelna kya hai???????

Kripa: let's play truth……but in a different style (everyone confused) dekho….we'll spin the bottle aur who bottle jispe rukegi…….use humare sawaal ka jawab dena hoga…..par par par……one change……hum us jaane se sawaal nahin poochenge……instead…….dat person has to pick a slip out of the bowl and answer the question that is written on it.

All agree and they start playing. Armaan spins the first time……the bottle stops at muskaan. Muskaan picks a slip up and it asks…..

Muskaan: "Have you ever been in love with anyone?"

Rahul: chal chal chit rakh aur ulte pao wapas aja…….we all know tera jawaab na hi hoga……(muskaan makes a face)

R: don't worry muskaan……agle turn acha question lelena.

A: haan chalo lets spin (goes to spin)

Muskaan: ruko…….sab apna apna boldiye ab mera toh suno……mere paas is sawaal ka jawaab hai aur who bhi haan mein.

Rahul: (stands up) KYA!?

Atul: isse kya hua? Oye rahul tujhe kya hua tu kyun itna chok raha hai?

Rahul: mein kahan chok raha hoon?

A: toh phir khara kyun hogaya? (rahul sits down again)

R: chal muskaan……ab bata.

Muskaan: uska naam tha…..Rohit Sexana

Atul: who joh 5^th standard mein mr. showoff tha.

Kripa: aur rahul ka dushman bhi.

Rahul: kya, tujhe mera dushman pasand tha……how could u do this?

Atul: rahul, tujhe hua kya hai? You're acting lyk muskaan teri girlfrnd hai…..aur ab tujhe uske phele pyaar ka pata chala hai.

Muskaan and rahul stare at each other and silence fills the room, armaan manages to renew the atmosphere.

A: guys chalo ab koi spin karo……pata nahin kin baato mein tumlog par jaate ho (everybody resumes the game; armaan whispers to rahul) are you sure tere aur muskaan ke beech mein kuch chal nahin raha? Kahin meri lovestory outline karte karte khud ki story toh nahin bana raha na?

They get back in the game……..the bottle stops at riddhima….she picks up a slip and it asks.

R: (out loud) "what in your opinion, is true love?"

A: lo…..ab basket hume batayegi k pyaar kya hai.

R: kyun nahin bata sakti?

A: nahin bata toh sakti ho…..lekin who kya hai na…..tumhe sab ko batane k liye, khud pata hona zaroori hai.

R: tumhara matlab kya hai? Mujhe nahin pata k pyaar kya hota hai?

A: exactly, tumhe nahin pata.

R: haan haan……jaise tumhe bohot pata hai na?

A: ofcourse.

R: armaan……flirting ko pyaar nahin kehte.

A: riddhima……pyaar kabhi bhi aur kisi se bhi hosakta hai.

Rahul: oye tu paaga toh nahin hogaya na?

Muskaan: haan pyaar toh ek baar hota hai.

A: oye duffers ki gang……pyaar bohot baar hota hai……par joh ek baar hota hai who sacha pyaar hota hai.

A: look who's talking……..jisne flirting ko pyaar ka naam diya hai…..woh sache pyaar ki baat kar raha hai.

A: tumhe kya problem horahi hai? Atleast tumhari tarah toh nahin hoon…..jisse kabhi pyaar hi nahin hua.

R: tum aisa kais eke sakte ho?

A: matlab hua hai?

R: na…na..nahin.

A: see I told you…….tumhe pyaar hua nahin hai….aur kabhie hoga bhi nahin……..tum jaisi boring larki se pyaar kaun karega?

R: mein boring hoon?

A: haan

R: mujhe tumse baat hi nahin karni……mein sone jarahi hoon.

A: theek hai jao……I don't care.

R: theek hai…..am going…….maafi mangne mat ana.

A: my foot.

R: lets see (leaves)

Atul: kya armaan……wapas laraye ki tune usse……

A: chor na…….thodi der baad theek hojayegi……..

Kripa: I don't think riddhima itni jaldi manegi.

Time passed by and its 2:00am. Everybody except for armaan is asleep. Armaan is standing by the window recalling his fight with riddhima and is thinking to himself.

A: pata nahin kyun lar para mein usse? Ab naraz hoke behti hai……aur baat bhi nahin kar rahi……..as in she doesn't care……..aur yahan mein ullu ki tarah jagraha hoon. (realizes) pata nahin aj kal mere saath kya horaha hai……..choti si choti larai mein riddhima ke saath nahin raksakta…….uska rootna mein bardaash bhi nahin karsakta…….yeh kya horaha hai mere saath?????? Phele mein usse pareshan karne ka ek moka nahin chorta tha…..aur ab????? Oh god.

Rahul: (comes from the back) abhi bhi nahin manega?

A: (confused) kya?

Rahul: yahi k ur in love.

A: tu phir shuru hogaya? (about to leave; stopped by rahul)

Rahul: kab tak jhoot bolega ya chapaye ga? You love riddhima……but why aren't you accepting it?

A: dekh rahul, aisa kuch nahin hai.

Rahul: kuch nahin hai? Toh itni raat ko tu uta va kyun hai?

A: who mujhe neend nahin arahi thi…..

Rahul: aur who bhala kyu?

A: tera matlab kya hai?

Rahul: mera matlab bohot saaf hai armaan…..tujhe yeh samaj mein kyun nahin araha k tujhe pyaar hogaya hai……kyu tu in isharo ko samaj nahin pa raha? Mujhe ek baat bata…….aj se phele bhi teri aur riddhima ki larai hui hai na…….toh phir aj tujhe kyun usse manane ki becheni horahi hai? Kyun tu uski naraazgi bardaasht nahin kar pa raha? Meri baat sun toh apni dil ki feelings ko accept kar le aur jald se jald riddhima ko bata de……isse pehle ke bohot der hojaye….aur who know maybe she feels the same for you……aur agar tu abhi nahin bolega na…..toh you never know……jab tak tujhe realize ho who kisi aur ki hojaye……

A: rahul, I think your just over reacting…….ek baat sun…….agar mujhe basket se pyaar hota……..toh tujhe kya lagta hai…….mujhe pata nahin chalta?

Rahul: armaan mujhe lagta hai ki tujhe pata chal gaya hai…….but you're trying to ignore it.

Atul: tumlogo ko raat k doh baje baat karne ka hi mila? Chup chap so jao.

A: we'll talk later…..good night. (sleeps off)

Rahul: aj nahin toh kal……par accept toh zaroor karega tu.

After a lot of twisting and turning…….armaan finally doses off to sleep. But he's not alone…….riddhima's dreams accompany him in his sleep. He sees fog all around him and a figure towards him. The figure becomes visible…and its no one but riddhima.

A: riddhima? (she turns around to leave) kahan jarahi ho?

R: pata nahin? Shayad tumse door…..

A: par riddhima…….agar tum chali jaogi toh mera kya hoga?

R: armaan tumhe meri thori na zaroorat hai……tum mere bina re sakte ho.

A: par riddhima…..

R: armaan……mere jaane ka waqt hogaya hai……..mujhe jana hai…..(leaves)

A: riddhima ruko……..tum nahin jaa sakti riddhima……..mein tumhare bina nahin reh sakta……..riddhima stop……..I LOVE YOU!!!
