RECAP:

Mayank tells nupur he is the serial killer. Nupur can't believe but realizes he is telling the truth. He beats up nupur a lot. Sonia enters. Mayank turns out to be her boyfriend. Nupur is shocked. Mayank tries to rape nupur but someone comes from behind & pulls him up & punches him.

PART 22:

Just as someone pulls up mayank the lights go off. Nupur couldn't see the face of the person who came to her rescue. It was a strange thing that in between such a huge fashion show the electricity was cut. The fashion show downstairs had also come to a halt. The background music disappeared instead there were noise of hues & cries from the audience for the abrupt stop in the show. People were running backstage & electricians were being called to solve the problem. Nupur tried to concentrate & know who was the person who saved her & was fighting for her but she could only see the outlines of 2 bodies fighting with each other & bashing each other. Sometimes one would bash other & sometimes other would bash the first. They were hitting the table & fighting like animals in the small room. She looked at sonia standing beside her. She was fussing with her purse trying to search something & finally she got what she wanted. Nupur's eyes widened in horror when she looked at some metallic shining thing in sonia's hands. It was a gun. Sonia wanted to kill the person who was beating mayank but just like nupur she was clueless who is mayank & who is the other man. However she still decided to take a chance & aim. When she was about to shoot nupur pushed her on the floor. The gun flew away from her hands out of the room & she fell on the floor. Her head banged with a loud noise & blood dripped from her forehead. She got up in anger to slap nupur but this time nupur was fast;she kicked sonia & dashed her against the wall. That time nupur forgot other 2 people were still fighting in the room. She forgot everything. She remembered only sonia's betrayel & how much she got hurt today because of sonia. Anger & frustration filled nupur's body as she pulled sonia's hair & dashed her forehead again to the wall. A new energy overtook her as she slapped & kicked sonia giving her the pain she gave her few minutes back. But then she stopped realizing what she was doing. No this was not in her nature. She could never hurt someone like this. Whether friend or enemy nupur had never learnt to hurt people & today she felt she was doing a sin. Sonia was lying on the floor helpless & unconscious & nupur's eyes filled with tears. She hated herself that very moment for harming sonia,a person whom she once considered her friend. She was still staring at sonia with tears in her eyes when someone came from behind & sliced her hand with a knife. She screamed in pain.Blood was oozing out of her hand as she realized mayank had just attacked her once again this time using a knife. It was the knife with which he was going to kill her tonight. She saw mayank's outline in darkness. The person who had come to help her was on the floor: dead or alive she still didn't know. Mayank tried to stab her stomach with knife but luckily nupur just moved in time. He was furious with her because nupur had hurt sonia a lot. He wanted to give more pain to nupur. Nupur ran from one corner of the room to other. She fell on the floor near the person who saved her. Nupur felt his slow breath & was glad to know that he was still alive. Mayank was approaching her. Nupur got up & tried to run out of the room but mayank pulled her hand & pushed her back into the room. Nupur reached one corner of the room & mayank blocked her completely. He approached her with a determined expression & a furious look. She knew there was no escaping now. He pulled his hands up to attack nupur when someone stopped his knife midway. Blood oozed out from the persons hand in an attempt to stop the knife which soaked nupur's clothes. His blood spread a different warmth in nupur's body. The warmth & comfort which nupur always felt in mayank's arms. Someone had not only just saved nupur's life again but had also given her the feeling of protection which she didn't feel in long time. Nupur was curious to know who was doing so much for her. Just then the lights came back & nupur saw the person still held the knife in his hand & his hands were still bleeding. Nupur was shocked not to see the amount of blood the person for losing for her or for the amount of blood that soaked her clothes; she was shocked looking at the person who just saved her. She stared from mayank to the other person in horror. No words came out of her mouth. The person bent the knife in anger & kicked mayank. He fell down unconscious on the floor. The person then turned to nupur. Nupur stared at him still not believing her eyes. Realization dawned upon her as she could now see the real truth.

But still some questions remained unanswered. But that could wait. For now she was very happy. She had tears of joy in her eyes. From morning she only had sorrows but now she finally had tears of joy in her eyes. She ran & hugged the person. She hugged & kept hugging him while he hugged her back with the same happiness. Yes the person as many may have guessed is none other Mayank Sharma. He felt relaxed after a long time. Since the time he came to know about nupur being in danger he was totally hyper but now finding her safely in his arms all worries were gone. Very soon he would be proved innocent as they had finally caught the real culprit. Nupur was still crying somewhere out of happiness & somewhere out of pain which piereced her heart for doubting mayank. He wiped her tears but instead ended up making her cheeks red since his hand was still bleeding. She at once realized he had been hurt more badly than she was. He had scratches on his face. His forehead was bleeding. And the worst his hands were still bleeding. She quickly opened her cupboard & removed a dupatta & wrapped around his hands. He kept staring at her lovingly. She had been equally hurt yet she cared more for his wounds. This was the reason why he loved her so much. Too much had happened in much less time. Everything was very confusing. Too many questions still remained unanswered. Nupur was equally confused with the sudden change in events. Mayank got up & sat near fake mayanks unconscious body. He looked at fake mayank's body. Everything same, Perfect resemblance. But he thought there should be slight difference. Somewhere, something. Then something dawned on him. He lifted up fake mayank's eyes & touched his the pupil. Yes he thought. There was something smooth. He removed it & found a coloured lens in his hand. He removed the other too. The fake mayank had black eyes originally & he had put this brown coloured lens so that they resembled real mayank. But still they didn't know who was this man. Before he could think more he heard a loud bang'..He turned around to see sonia attacking nupur & nupur was trying to defend herself. Yes sonia had regained conscious & wanted revenge from nupur. He went in between to stop sonia from attacking nupur but sonia pushed him. Being a gentleman mayank could never use his strength on a girl. He didn't know how to stop sonia. She had gone insane. He kept on coming in between & protecting nupur behind her. That was the least he could do. But finally he couldn't take it anymore & was forced to slap sonia. Fake mayank got up at same time, he saw mayank slapping sonia & went totally mad. The 2 of them once again got into fight. Nupur tried to run out of the room & call for help but sonia caught her & held her tightly. Just then there were footsteps in the corridor. Someone was coming. The person saw the gun lying on the floor & picked it up & opened nupur's room. The door of the room opened. Both sonia & nupur looked shocked. Mayank & fake mayank were still busy fighting. The person at the door looked at nupur's dishellved state, the state of the room, sonia's strong hold on nupur & finally the 2 men fighting in the room. Without thinking twice the person lifted its hand & aimed the gun at one of the 2 men fighting in the room. There was a loud noise as the bullet hit someones leg. Nupur looked shocked. Sonia froze in her place. One of the 2 men was falling down. Mayank turned around to see who was the person who shot the bullet & was equally shocked to see the person. Fake mayank fell on his knees as his legs were paining & bleeding. Someone had shot the bullet straight in his leg. When he turned to see who it was he was equally shocked. Sonia ran towards her fake mayank & began crying. Nupur & Mayank went to the person. They still couldn't believe what they were seeing. Standing in front of them with a gun in hand was their very own best friend Gunjan followed by sam, dia & RV. Nupur's eyes brimmed with tears of happiness so did gunjan's followed by everyones. Nupur quickly hugged her to feel her & know that she was alive. Gunjans face & hands bore red marks. Her hands had red marks of rope being attached. Her clothes were torn in some places. She was in the same dress as she was 2 days back before her death being declared. The gun fell from her hands.

Nu(nodding): gunjan'.gunjan'tum'.

Gunjan nodded her head as if to indicate that yes she was alive. Gunjan pointed her fingers towards the fake mayank sitting on knees & sonia crying hysterically. Nupur picked the gun & pointed at the fake mayank & sonia.

Nu: batao tum kaun ho?kyu tumne mayank ko fasaaya?Kyu kiya tumne yeh sab?

Fake mayank: tum jaan-na chahti ho maine yeh sab kyu kiya???kyunki main tumse nafrat karta'.tum sabse nafrat karta hu'..I HATE YOU ALL'.I HATE MAYANK

Ma: maine tumhaara kya bigaada hai???main toh tumhe jaanta bhi nahi hu'

Fake mayank: TUM KYU JAANOGE MUJHE???TUM KAISE JAANOGE???(spat on the floor) TUMHAARI LIFE TOH ITNI ACHCHI HAI'..TOH KYU TUM APNE BHAI KO PEHCHAANOGE???

The floor beneath mayank shook. 'Bhai' the word kept ringing in his ears. He thought he heard something wrong but the equally shocked looks on others faces confirmed that he didn't hear it wrong.

Ma: yeh tum kya bakwaas kar rahe ho???

Fake mayank: isiliye main tumse nafrat karta hu'.tumhaare liye humaari purani life bakwaas hai'tumhaare liye humaara poora pariwaar bakwaas hai'.tumhe itni achchi life, bada ghar, khoobsurat ladki, itna paisa sabkuch toh mil gaya hai fir kyu tum humme yaad karoge???

Ma: main tumhe nahi jaanta'.mere maa-baap bachpan mein car accident mein mar gaye the'tum sirf meri jaise shakal hone ka faayda uth rahe ho'

Fake Mayank was furious. He grabbed & pulled mayank down. He poked his nails on mayank's dried wounds. It started bleeding again. His actions startled everyone. He than took mayank's blood & mixed it with his own blood still oozing from his leg.

Fake Mayank: yeh dekho'..kya tumhe humaare khoon mein koi farak dikh raha hai?

Mayank thought the man had gone mad. No ones blood can be distinguished like this visibly. It's same for everyone. Only different tests can confirm different blood & blood group.

Fake Mayank: tumhaara blood group AB + ve hai.

Mayank: yeh tumhe kaise pata?

Fake Mayank: kyunki yeh mera bhi blood group hai'.hum dono mein humaare baap ka khoon hai'

Mayank: tumhaari bakwaas mein mujhe koi interest nahi hai.

Fake Mayank's legs were paining badly due to the bullet. However he ignored it. His heart was paining more as his past memories were coming back to him. He removed something from his pocket. It was a very old photo torn at some places. He handed it to mayank. Mayank & others looked at it. There was a small family in the photo: A man, woman, 2 small twin boys & a very little girl of 1 year. Mayank looked at it closely. He was one of the boys in photo. It was a photo when he was of around 3 years. Looking at it more closely he saw one boy had brown eyes & one had black eyes.

Fake Mayank: Ab tumhe yakeen aaya? Yeh tasveer humaare 3^rd birthday par khinchi gayi thi'kuch yaad aaya?

Mayank couldn't speak anything. He had no arguments, nothing to say. He was still clueless about his past. He just kept looking at the photo. 'No this can't be true' he thought. But the photo was no lie.

Fake Mayank: aaj main tumhaare ateet ka woh panna kholuga jo tumhaari glamouros duniya mein kho gayi hai Mr. Arjun Bijlaani.

Mayank: Arjun?

Fake Mayank: Arjun Bijlaani'.tumhaara asli naam'.aur main hu Karan Bijlaani tumhaara judwaa bhai'.

Mayank & others were still shocked with the way the events were taking place that evening; Mayank's arrest, Nupur's attack, sonia's betrayel, Gunjan's comeback, the similarity between mayank & the serial killer & now if that was not enough mayank comes to know that his identity for past so many years had been false'.He had been living in a false world with a false name'How will Mayank survive this blow???How will he react on knowing his past???

Okay finally done. The next part will be the last.

Gunjan is back. I know some of you didn't want her back. Those who still don't want her please let me know I'll write one more different part for you all.

This was not the way I was going to write this story but I've made last minute modifications keeping in mind your interests'..i hope now I'll get happy comments.😳
