lol I should reply to everyone's comments...thank you soo much for all of them...lol well I also know that I promised to write priya and sneha a shot...but I didn't get the time....lol so I wrote one for Pari :P

Meeting

"Yuvi, he is coming today!" she jumped off the bench as she proclaimed that rather too loudly for my ears.

"Naina...who is is coming today?" she was walking back and forth nervously and seem to not have heard my question, so I repeated it.

"Yuvi, my pappa, who else!" that made me jump off the bench as well. "What are we going to do? What are we going to do?"

"Naina...calm down! It's just your pappa and it's not like he knows about us!" I was reassuring myself more than Naina.

"Yeah, but Dr. Shashank does....remember he saw us on the terrace hugging!"

How could I forget that day....here I was finally gaining back my girlfriend's trust and next I was being blasted off by Dr. Shashank. He reminded me of this character played by Amitabh Bachan in some love movie or another that Naina made me watch. Anyway, he wasn't quite happy to see us hugging on the terrace, especially in the middle of the night. Damn...I am up for another lecture about love...they think it's nonsense...another one I guess?

"Yuvi!" I snapped out of my thought to see Naina giving me a "what's wrong with you" look

"Um...he wouldn't say anything!" hopefully

It wasn't as if I was afraid of my relationship with Naina...it was more of a fear of confronting the dad of the girl you love. The last time we met, he just had a doubt we were dating (when we weren't actually)...and he questioned me as if he was a special bureau investigator. This time, I am pretty sure that he'll kill me. Well, let's hope not! Damn, why couldn't we have a course in universtiy about how to calm your future father-in-law down. Wait, why the hell am I talking...sorry thinking like Sid? Ughh!!

The rest of the day went by as a breeze, I guess because I was way too tensed. Which was weird, I mean I am not afraid of everyone...okay I was afraid of my past...but why pappaji?

"Dr. Yuvraaj Singh, please come to my cabin immeidately!" I turned around to see Dr. Shashank looking at me rather too strictly.

Great, I should have contacted Mac...well somebody needs to arrange for my funeral!

"Come in!"

"Hello, sir!" without showing obvious signs of curiousity, I looked around the room for Naina's father...but he wasn't there.

"Dr. Yuvraaj, have a seat!" I quickly sat down without a word.

Dr. Shashank looked up from his file and stared at me for few seconds....or rather centuries for me.

"As you might already know....Dr. Naina's father...Mr. Mehta has arrived in town today! I don't want to hear any excuses...I want you at my house right after your shift ends...whenever it ends! Am I clear?" He took off his glasses as I nodded a "yes".

He asked me to leave the room right after that and as soon as I got out...I realized that I had been holding my breath all this time. Great...this was just simply great....I was so not ready for all this just yet!

I didn't get an opportunity to talk to Naina the rest of the shift...and when I did get the time to breath...she had already left. My day wasn't going at all as I planned...yes, I do plan my days every night!

Well, my shift ended at about 11pm in the night...I debated with myself for few minutes about going or not...but I gave in at the end. Well, Dr. Shashank ordered me to come whenever my shift ended, so might as well get this over with.

I took a deep breath as I stopped my bike in front of Dr. Shashank's house. This was very scary and I had never been scared before...well except for my past and Raj's sadism. I gave my clothes a light shrug as I stood in front of the door. Well, I might as well ring the bell. Why was this happening to me?

"He is a Punjabi!"

I am pretty sure that was Naina's dad yelling...great he hates me already. I didn't realize that Dr. Shashank was standing there waiting for me to come inside until I heard him clearing his throat loudly.

"S...sorry sir!" I quickly walked into the house and was asked to follow him.

"Riddhima beta told me that he even set the dispensary on fire!" Great he knew that as well! If looks could kill...many people would have been dead already...including me of course.

The look Mr. Mehta gave me when I walked into the room...almost made me run out of the house screaming. Damn, I am hanging out way too much with Sid...I've got to stop.

"I think we should leave Mr. Mehta and Yuvi alone!"

I looked at Dr. Shashank as if he had suddenly proclaimed Naina as my sister. Why was he leaving me alone with him? Even Naina nodded in approval and left right behind Dr. Shashank. Great, i should have seriously called Mac!

Mr. Mehta and I had a staring contest for few seconds before he started speaking...wait sorry yelling!!

"Aren't you the one who said that my daughter is too good for you? What happened now? Did you get better...or did she get worse?"

I had no response to that...what exactly was I suppose to say to that....

"So, why exactly did you try to harm Dr. Shashank?"

I gulped as I tried to respond...

"Um...mis...understanding..."

"You tried to burn someone because of a misunderstanding! Tomorrow you'll do the same thing to my daughter!"

"I would never...."

"Don't interrupt me when I am talking! I know guys like you very well! By the way, do you have a family or you came to this world just like that!"

He was starting to highly piss me off but I tried to keep my cool...though I had no idea about how long I would be able to do so.

"I have an older brother..."

"Oh...the one in the mental hospital, right? You really think I would give my daughter to such a family as your's! You're highly mistaken!"

I kept reminding myself that it's okay...I should keep my cool for Naina and our future...

"You always tried to harm my daughter...I do not trust you!"

"Then don't!" Dammit I just lost my cool

"Excuse me!" the look he gave me was enough to bring my old self back

"Sir, I highly respect you! Believe me! I know you don't trust me....maybe because you don't know me yet or rather you know the past that is just that...a past. I love your daughter, sir! I really do! I've never wanted to hurt her...I would never do it intentionally. Yes, I did use her before but at that time I didn't know that I loved her...but now I do! I can't promise you the future because I don't know what the future has instored for us. But I can surely promoise you that I'll try my very best to keep her happy! Always and forever! Sir, I don't have a family besides my sick brother...but I want to have one. I can never imagine starting a family with anyone but your daughter! Sir, I am willing to go through any test to convince you that I really do love your daughter a lot!"

Sheesh, I don't know where all that came from...but it's the truth!

"What will you do if I say no?" Damn why does he want to say no!

"If you think that I'll run away with her or take some sort of revenge from you then you're wrong. I would never go against you...Naina loves you more than she loves me...and I will never ever put her in such a situation where she has to choose one of us!"

He looked at me for few seconds before walking towards me...I really wanted to turn around and run but I stayed in my place. I quickly closed my eyes shut when he raised his hand. Great, the guy who had never been slapped before...was about to get one from his girlfriend's father.

But what I got surprised me...instead of slapping me...he patted my cheek. I slowly opened my eyes and saw yet another surprising thing...Mr. Mehta was smiling at me...proudly!

"I found out about you two long time ago from Jiggy. I blackmailed him into spilling and when Dr. Shashank called me to give me the same information...I drilled him and his daughter to tell me all about you. What Riddhima told me, made me want to slap you...but Dr. Shashank had only good things to say about you. I was in dual mind...so I came down here to see for myself. I am sorry I had to say so much to you, dikra...but I must say you're very patient. Just the right boy for my always curious and over-excited dikri!"

I kept looking at him with a shocked expression...was this happening for real or was I just hallucinating.

"Mr. Mehta..."

"Oh, you can call me pappa!"

Okay, this was definately a dream...I was about to pinch myself when I felt someone else doing it. I slightly flinched in pain but didn't say anything as I turned around to see who dared to do that.

Naina was standing beside me smiling broadly...I immediately realized that I had been fooled. She knew everything from the start! That made me angry...who am I kidding...was this the day to be angry? What I really wanted to do was jump up and down in excitement.

Damn....way too much of Sid!

Not Our Wedding

"But why do we have to work so much? It's not even our wedding!" Naina stomped her foot in frustration

"A. I can't believe you just did that and B. You're the one who volunteered to help!" despite wanting to stomp his feet in return as well...he just smiled at her antic

"But I want to get married!"

"Um...Naina...have you lost it? We are already married!" Yuvi just shook his head...

"Yuvi...you call that a wedding...you just called me in the morning and said "hello Naina, you want to get married within an hour...then jump off your bloody balcony!!" and we didn't even get married in proper clothes", Naina imitated Yuvi

"I didn't ask you like that and neither did I tell you to jump of the balcony...I told you to come there so I can help you climb from it!" the garland of flowers that Yuvi had just put on one of the pole of the mandap came down...which he picked up again in frustration.

"Yuvi...I...I...." Naina sat down on the steps leading toward the mandap and gave Yuvi a cute crying look

"Naina...if we had waited to get married the way you wanted to...then I am pretty sure you would have gotten married that way you wanted to...but with someone else! Naina...."

"Yuvi...I know that! But I...well sometimes I wish that things had gone the way we wanted them to"

"They did Naina...we are married! True...we didn't get married like the way Sid and Tamana are...we had no one there besides Mac and the gang...but...what do you want to do now?" Yuvi went and sat down beside her

"I don't know...I just suddenly felt jealous of Sid and Tamana!" Naina rested her head on his strong shoulder while he wrapped his arm around her.

"Naina...they should be jealous of us...we got married...they had to wait two years before they could even confess their love to each other...and another three to get married!"

"True...but imagine if our wedding was like this..."

"Naina...unlike Sid...I would never...or I can never see you with another guy...let alone married to another!"

"I don't mean that Yuvi, I mean to have a wedding with proper wedding clothes...with people around us...who are happy for us!"

"People who were there...were happy for us!"

"But pappa wasn't there...."

"Pappa is still not here!"

"Why? I mean why hasn't he forgiven us yet?" Naina started to sob...

"Naina.....seriously if I knew that pregnancy makes the woman's characteristics totally opposite...I would have forced you to opt for an adoption instead!" Yuvi gave Naina a kiss on her forehead and smiled as he rested his face in her hair

"Yuvi...why are you so obsess with my hair...move!" Naina pushed Yuvi away from her with a small smile

"It's so pretty...I want it!" Yuvi smiled evilly which made Naina's smile even broader

"If I knew that pregnancy makes the man's characteristics totally opposite...I would have forced you to opt for an adoption instead!" Naina started to laugh...while Yuvi just smiled broadly.

"Come on...let's finish decorating this mandap or do you think the baby and its mother deserves some rest right now?" Yuvi got up and held out his hand for Naina

"Our baby is not an "it"....and baby and baby's mother wants to rest right now! They are both tired!" Naina took Yuvi's hand and got up still laughing lightly.

Yuvi picked Naina up in his arms which made her blush...

"Yuvi...I think you should put me down..."

"Why should I put you down? I mean I do have a legal right out on you!" Yuvi gave a cheeky smile to Naina as he rested her on the bed lightly.

"Yuvi...you're not mad at me right?" Naina grabbed onto Yuvi's hand as he was about to move away from her

"Jaana...why would you say such a thing?" Yuvi sat on the bed beside her

"Aww...I love it when you call me jaana!" Naina smiled broadly as she gave him a side hug

"And I can't believe that you actually say "aww"...seriously!" Naina started to laugh again... "I love it when you laugh...please always keep on smiling for my sake and for our baby's...who is not an "it"..." Naina lifted her face up and gave Yuvi her biggest smile.

"Why would I be sad when you're there for me? Who cares if I didn't have the wedding like the way I wanted it...I still got to marry the man I love!" Naina rested her head back on Yuvi's shoulder as they both sat there for few minutes in silence.

Few minutes before the wedding

"Naina phwolerji...bade bhaiyya is looking for you...he is outside!" JP tried to squeeze his head through the little opening of the door leading to the bedroom...since no boys were allowed inside the bride's room.

"Okay...tell him...I am coming!" Naina quickly tied Tamana's choli's dori as she herself tried to squeeze through the little opening but ended up opening it up slightly more to fit through.

Outside in the garden

"Yuvi...is everything okay?" Naina walked up to the figure whose back was facing her

Yuvi turned around with a nervous smile on his face...and flowers in his hand.

"Yuvi...."

"Naina...I know it is too late...but when I took the pheres with you...I promised you that I will fulfill every single one of your wish. I couldn't do it at that time...but I will do it now! Naina...will you please give me the honours of marrying you for the second time...like the way you wanted it!" Yuvi knelt down on his knees as he took a beautifully cut diamond ring out from his pocket and displayed it toward her.

Naina could not say anything but just nod with tears in her eyes...Yuvi took that as a "yes" and got up from his knees

"Thank you for being in my life, Naina!" they gave each other a deep kiss before pulling apart with a smile on their face. "I have another surprise for you!"

Yuvi turned Naina around with his hand on her eyes and counted to three before slowly removing his hand...

"Pappa!" Naina cried out with sheer happiness but then quieted down and back-hugged Yuvi...as if she was going to lose him forever.

"Naina...mari dikri...do you take your father as a cruel man who would separate his girl from her husband just because he doesn't acknowledge their relationship?" Naina's father walked toward them with a sad smile

"Pappa...I..."

"I am sorry, beta!"

Naina let go of Yuvi immediately and ran to hug her father tightly...

"I missed you, my daughter!"

"Pappa...I am so sorry!" Naina cried out loudly as she continue to hug her father

"You shouldn't cry in this condition...when your mother and I found out about it...actually you had already told your mother...when I found out about it...I couldn't believe it! My little daughter is so grown up! She is going to be a mother herself!" Naina smiled broadly as her dad gave her another side hug

"Pappa...are...have...you forgiven us, yet?" Naina moved away from her father

"It's you who should forgive me...actually both of you! I became really prejudiced...who am I to say that intercommunity marriages are not allowed! You both love each other! And you have proven this in the past three years...actually five if you count your secret dating period!" Mr. Mehta smiled as he held out his arms for Yuvi...

Yuvi smiled and hugged Mr. Mehta as Naina looked on with tears in her eyes

"Beta...I've noticed that Naina is crying a lot today...what's wrong?" Mr. Mehta rested his hand on Yuvi's shoulder as he looked at him with a teasing smile

"Sir...you have five kids...you should know all about this!" Yuvi suppressed his smile and tried to look serious

"Yes...I do...and I have only one thing to say to you...Good Luck!" Mr. Mehta patted Yuvi's back and gave Naina another hug before proceeding inside since the wedding was about to start.

Naina was about to follow...

"We have something more to discuss!" Naina turned around with a confused look

"I just proposed to you...when are we getting married?" Yuvi pulled Naina toward him and rested his head in her hair again

"Have you forgotten...we are already married?"

"Have you forgotten that I just asked you to marry me for the second time?" Yuvi pulled his head out of her hair and looked at her with a smile

"Okay...since I did say "yes"...I'll honour my promise! But I won't tell you how and where we will marry...you know me so well...you make sure that it goes the way I like it!" Naina gave Yuvi a kiss on the cheek before getting out of his arms and going inside.

"I know what you want Naina..." Yuvi smiled to himself as he went inside

After Sid and Tamana's wedding

"Panditji..." after whispering to the rest of the gang and Naina's father...Yuvi went up to the panditji

Yuvi whispered something in his ears...which Naina noticed and when she asked Yuvi about it...he just simply smiled at her. He took a hold of her hands and slowly led her to the mandap...

"Yuvi..."

"You promised, Naina!"

Naina smiled at Yuvi as they both sat down where previously Sid and Tamana were taking...Panditji started his mantras...

"It's time for the Kanyadan", Naina looked up to see her dad kneeling behind them...Naina's eyes again got teary but this time she didn't stop them from flowing out of her eyes.

Yuvi lightly patted her hand as Mr. Mehta did the raasam...Naina couldn't really concentrate on the rest of the rituals...she was too happy to express.

In their bedroom

"Yuvi...I would never ever forget this day!" Naina gave Yuvi a hug

"I don't think anyone can...I mean who gets married to the same girl twice...even when he is already married to her!" Naina looked up to see Yuvi given her a teasing smile

"Only those...who truly love each other! How did you know this is the type of wedding I always wanted?" Naina rested her head again on his chest as she played around with his thread of his shirt.

"Naina...I know that you never wanted a big, grand wedding...necessarily...you just wanted the person you love the most to be there...your dad!" Yuvi hugged Naina

"There is not only one person I love the most in the world...there are two...and another one is coming! You and pappa are both equally important to me!"

"I love you!" Yuvi rested his head in her hair again

"I love you...but I think you don't love me...but my hair!" Naina got out of the hug with a smile and gave Yuvi a kiss
