Hey Mahak after the formatting completes you can come back......even if the data is lost you can start writing it again......its your story aakhir......and just want to give you a suggestion each time you write the update take a copy of it on pendrive or any other means .......it will help you to keep all your with you....

PS: Little help from my side. When my PC got all the virus the first thing i asked the mechanic was to create a 'backup image' of my entire computer. Songs, photos, everything. & this is the best way u can save all ur files.

If you really don't wanna miss anything important, then make sure u have backup image of ur complete computer image. use a backup program line Acronis TrueImage or an equivalent, and backup your entire machine, most likely to an external hard disk. Kuch aur open ho ya na ho, but this is possible dear. Just tell the mechanic do do this thing 1st, without fail. And also for future purposes, do start keeping backup of each and every little thing.I m sure sab kuch theek ho jayega. I was also damn scared and freaked out when my comp got all virus. Cudnt save 1 or 2 folders but everything else was absolutely fine.

take ur tym...and as for the stories getting deleted if the pc is formatted...then you can always back them up on some cd or flash disk yeah?? that way you wont have to worry about losing them...
