RECAP:- mayank asked nupur to meet him in clg haloween dance and dia asks her to do a night duty on the day of dance and refuses her to go to the dance......

PART-5

At the diner......

Nupur came out, skating, from the store room, with two packets of tissues in her hand.....

She saw mayank, sheena, samrat, benji and sheena's friends-cum-sidekicks(suhani and gunjan) entering the diner and settling down in a corner......suddenly she clashed into dia and fell down....

D( smiling wickedly): u're in my way ....

She crossed her legs and walked off.....nupur looked at her and gradually got up!.....

Shilpa saw this and said to one of the workers.....

Sh: uff!!.....it must be haloween....look at that wicked witch in the valve.....

Both of them laughing!!!!!

D to N: i'll be picking up annie and vatty frm the haloween dance.....i'll be back by 12....sharp!!!

Dia was picking up some notes from the counter.....and counting them.....

N(turning away sadly) : okay.......

Dia started to stuff some notes in her cleavage!!!!......

Shilpa saw this and came up to her!!

Sh: oooh!....still need money huh??

D: i see there's a poky nose from the herds here......don't u have something more important to do like cleaning toilets???

Sh: u know i would....but i'm too busy running this place!!....but be my guest!!

D: oh i'm so sorry i can't......i just got 150 dollar manicure!!!......(she said showing her hands to her).....silver palm trees....

Sh: ohhh!! (making a face)....

Dia moving away from counter.....

Sh: u know keep it up dia till i'm just working with a pedicure....

D(looking at her feet): where r ur skates??? That's part of the uniform.....

Sh: dia if i want to look like a clown....i'll join a circus!!!.....

D: u're part of my circus i would have u cleaning elephant butts,that too a wet one!!.....well u don't realize that i could.....

Before letting her complete her statement Shilpa interrupted her....

Sh: fire me???....oh do it right here......let me see how many customers u're left when u do??

Dia.....shocked.....looked around.......

D: i'm a very appealing person.....

Still in doubt with the statement she just stated.....she walked away cleaning her teeth with a toothpick......murmering a "no".....

Sh: yeah! Me!!

Dia banged the door close behind her!!!.......

Shilpa went to where nupur was working......

Shilpa and nupur together (mimicing dia): "i'm a veerrrryy appeeeealing person".....

Both laugh out loud.......

N: n u think i'm graduating a year early so i can b 3000 miles away from her in princeston.....

Suddenly a worker came upto her....and giving her a notepad and pen....

W: nupsi dear.....i'm stuck in here can u please cover that back table for me???

She left......nupur turned to see the table.....and found it occupied by none other than maynak and group.....

She tried to avoid it but the worker had already gone......she sighed and went to their table....

At the table:

Sheena looking in the menu card....

Sh: y do i have a feeling that i won't be able to get a single thing here!!!!????

Su: hardly one....

Sam: suhani.....makeups don't qualify the food group.....so u can't live on them!!!

Everyone laughed out loud.....except suhani...

Nupur reached them to take the order!!!

Mayank, sitting beside sheena, was looking at her with the corner of her eyes....

Sheena: well.....we're visiting the diner girl!!!

Nupur smiled off her comment!!!

Mayank was staring at her!!

N: what can i get u guys??

Sh: what can i get here that has no sugar, no carbohydrates, and is fat-free?

N: umm....water!!

Samrat repeated....

S: oh water!! Great!

Mayank burst out in laughter!....but tried to hide it behind his hands!!

Sheena faked a smile but then felt mayank laughing so gave him a stare!!!

Su: huh!!....was that supposed to be a joke??

M: oh that was funny!!!

Sh: i'll have a vas...

N: excuse me!!

Gunjan: its water....from Norway....

N(making a face): sorry we have water only from the valley!!!

Sh: well then i'll have a nice tea!

Sam: well make that 2....n u know i'm still waiting for that breakfast breed.....diner girl....

Everyone, except mayank, burst out laughing......

Nupur ignored samrat and turned to go.....

Mayank never liked making fun of people like this.......he neither used to join in the fun nor used to laugh at their's......

Sh: she's so not getting the tip.....

Suhaani shoed her away with her hands....

Mayank suddenly put her arms around sheena's shoulders and turned towards her.....

M: sheena....we really need to talk privately.....

Sh: anything u're saying to me u can say infront of my friends....

M: okay!!!!.......i want a break-up!!

hey prena i am glad to read this after so long, i still feel so bad for N and the way M and his friends treat her. I am so glad he is going for this breakup, i hope sheena finds someone who genuinely loves her though, i don't like breakups and heartbreaks in general. Great update, hope to read ahead soon. keep it up!
