Chapter 4

Her entire body was covered in sweat, but she was oblivious to it. She felt his lips on her ear, trailing down to her neck. There he started taking little bites, and biting it so gently that she started trembling. Her body was on fire she wanted him to go down with his mouth and continue the assault, but her tongue was knotted just like one knot in her stomach. There was a vibration next to her and in next instant she was wide awake and staring at the ceiling.

Nupur looked at herself, she was soaked in her sweat and her breathing was hard as if she had run in a marathon. So unfortunately her dream was OVER and she was regretting it. She glanced at the mobile next to her, there was a message from her friend which had brought her out of the dream.

She climbed out of the bed, opened the window and stared at the moon. This was her favorite activity she just loved watching sky at nights. She sighed and closed her eyes, again that HOT image came in front of her eyes which she had just seen in her dream. She had had this dream in variations since that kissing episode, and thank god her parents had given her privacy while sleeping because her dreams always were too erotic.

Nupur went to the kitchen and took a bottle of chilled water and sat on the French windows in the living room. Night was silent but silence had its own voice, there was no one on the street.

She drank from the bottle and started thinking. After the disaster with Uday (thanks to Benji), she had snipped at Avni, and felt guilty about it. Till the time she came back from washroom she was calm and in control. She apologized to Avni but in the meanwhile she was gone Samrat had told them what Uday had done. Same things were repeated to her about how she should give Uday a chance, but Samrat was looking at her with question in his eyes. She didn't want to answer that question, basically she didn't want to lie to Samrat.

They had exchanged numbers promises to be in touch and parted. Despite telling Gunjan to go to bed, she was awake and then instead of going to sleep, Nupur waited and told her the entire story. The way Benji goofed up also about Uday coming and talking to her. Gunjan listened to the entire thing she never commented on anything. Finally quite late they went to sleep, as next day Nupur had to join the office. But now she was awake, she also remembered that Uday had also taken her number. She knew in her heart that just because now Uday knows that she had a crush on him, he would be interested in her.

Uday from the start was quite arrogant he was sure that he could get any girl. His girlfriends used to change every week, and he was proud about it. His girlfriends were all same with little variations as they all were model like slim and sexy to be sure.

Nupur still remembered the first time she had seen Uday. Her second year in college had just started and she was going to the college. After she entered the bus she noticed a guy sitting alone at the end of the bus. He was tall good looking and had mystery around him. She was hooked after that, as soon as she reached college she told all her friends and the best part was that he was in the same college as hers. Then the campaign had started her friends joined her, with all the connections she found out his name and his contact no. When all of this was happening, she started knowing Uday, how arrogant he was and about his girlfriends also. Her crush was going thin but her friends didn't know that, hell she didn't know it. Till one day when she was going home, lost in her daydreams and a bike had hit her from behind.

She had fallen down on the road in her colony. {Just to mention she stayed in Air India colony as her dad worked in Air India.} So while she fell down the biker went away and she had no choice but to curse him. She was hurt in her leg, scratched her arm, and also her palm. Hence she had difficulty in getting up she tried 3 times but failed. Till then she had started crying because of the frustration, suddenly she felt a hand helping her stand. Hand helping her was big and strong when she turned and saw the face she forgot all her injuries.

It was the most beautiful face made by god. Long face with beautiful chocolate brown eyes, strong nose with a little dent. Strong chin and dark hair which came till his collar begging her to put her hands through it. He was wearing a red T shirt with jeans and he had body to fit the jeans. She was staring at the guy, literally and she could see him flushing and then red colour coming in his cheeks. He smiled at her and it was good thing he was holding her hand because she was damn sure she would melt and become a poodle at his feet.

"Hi, Are you Okay? Will you be able to walk?

"Hmmmmmmmmm. Yes" She managed to say.

Still he took her elbows and helped her walk, both were silent for some time.

Then he broke the silence, "So, which building you stay?"

"aha, I stay at" She stammered, hell she could not remember my building no. Shit now what?

"You don't remember your building no.?" He asked amusement reflecting in his voice.

Maybe the amusement worked, but she stiffened. She didn't like to be a joke even for good looking guy.

So she straightened and said, "I know my building, Thank you very much. I will go myself."

"Hey, Look I didn't mean anything bad Okay? I'll drop you to your building." He replied

"I stay in building no. 9" She told him while walking. "I also stay in the same building" He sounded surprised.

"However we have just moved here, I stay at the ground floor. What about you?"
"Oh, you are the new people in the building, my mom was telling me about you. Well we stay on the first floor." Nupur replied to him excited to go home and tell her friends about this encounter and coincidence.

They had reached the building gate, next to the entrance on both sides there were 2 flats. One of them was his.

He insisted on dropping her till her house as according to him she shouldn't be climbing stairs alone with her injured legs. She was happy about it, this way she had more time to know him. Till now she knew he also worked in Air India, and his name was Mayank Sharma.

At her house she was inviting him inside but he was giving lame excuse that they had just moved and still had to unpacking. Listening to all this Nupur's mom came out, at 34 her mom looked younger and was still attractive. And Nupur knew that she never used anything on her skin.

"Hello, Nupur you should have told me you were bringing your friend with you, and why are you outside?"

"Mom, this is Mayank who has just moved in the ground floor flat and I hurt my leg so he just came to…" She was stopped in between only as her mom rushed and wanted to see the damage.

Nupur managed to calm down her mom who then started thanking Mayank.

"Thank you Son, god knows what is wrong with this people on bikes. It is so dangerous nowadays." Mom continued.

They were interrupted as Mayank's cell was ringing. He answered it and the call was on for a short time. He turned to face mom "Well, I'll have to go"

"Yeah, we understand, but you come later to our house." Mom told him he said bye and turned to go and then again shouted, "Listen Mayank, Bring along your wife also next time. We would love to…"

Nupur couldn't hear anything else, her dream guy was MARRIED. She only could think that, as she was stuck standing there.
